Very peaceful country feel. We stayed in the cabin/house away from the main house. Waterfall is a 5 minute walk thru paddock, bit boggy thanks to recent rains. Plenty to sit and watch, walabies, horses. Accommodation was very comfy, great facility's.

The only problem would be, we were on motorbikes, I would advise if this is your mode of transport to check with the owner prior as to where to park and how wet the area is, very boggy after rains, parking heavy bikes can be difficult.

We had a wonderful time at the waterfall retreat near Nimbin, the cabin is very cosy, the bathroom is luxurious and the beds comfortable. Our host was exceptional - she even invited us to come and have a look at the baby rabbits and the horses so my little daughter was in heaven. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, a perfect place to relax and enjoy Mother Nature! I would definitely recommend this place!

The location is so close to everything but really quiet. Theresa is lovely and made us feel so welcome. The waterfall is amazing and great things to do around Nimbin. Please be mindful that this place is remote with wild animals and sometimes insects and mosquitoes. Some of these reviews are a bit harsh regarding this. Bring appropriate clothing and repellent and you will have no problems.

location is excellent, we were only there one night arrived in the afternoon it was raining it made everything smell fresh we had a sauna which was relaxing 😌 host was helpful yet left us to our self which was nice bed very comfy 😴

probably the rain it dampened the veranda and we didn't get to visit the waterfall . but over all suited our purpose. would prob book earlier next time to secure the bigger room .

We loved everything about Nimbin Waterfall Retreat. From being one with nature, to seeing the waterfall and building our own fire. The amenities were clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. A clear view of the starry night sky was a highlight for us. Most of all was the serenity and tranquillity found in the mountains. A pleasant and much needed break from our busy city lives.

Having to leave. We could've easily stayed there forever!

Warm reception after a stunning drive through the hills by the owner, a run-down of the property, and I was off to look at the beautiful waterfall down the back a mere 5 minute walk away. Waking up to wildlife outside to greet you every morning along with spectacular views made the trip indeed worth it. Country experience well delivered.

Time went too quick

The town of Nimbin is great and the Waterfall Retreat is fantastic. The rooms were perfect but we spent all afternoon and evening sat on the veranda watching the kangaroos and enjoying a brilliant BBQ. We’ve spent eighteen nights in Australia at six properties and overall this was the best.

Everything

Loved everything about our stay - Theresa was incredibly welcoming, helpful and super interesting to talk to. She engaged beautifully with my kids and allowed them to ‘help’ with the animals and play with the bunnies. I found the accommodation to be inline with information stated on the site and on value. We will definitely be returning!!! X

Nothing!!

The lovely lady who owns the place was so helpful I showed up after dark the night we stayed in and she still showed us both around and made us very comfortable. In The morning I had a car battery ended up needing to be replaced and she was so kind to drive me into town where I could pull out Money even though she felt under the weather.

The waterfall was very nice and just a short walk to get there in some lovely country. Wakeing to the sounds of the wildlife and animals was so relaxing. Just the peace and quiet is what I loved and it is only a very short drive to Nimbin.

The roads to get tothe retreat were a little rough.
