Firstly, a very good location. Comfortable, quiet and convenient. Drinking, hot water and tea are always available in the lobby. Simple but good breakfast - muesli, coffee, croissants, etc. Great staff! Thanks to Michele who works at the front desk. If I got the name wrong, sorry.

Perfect location. Beautiful building with remarkable palazzo floor and large windows. We had a three persons room with a private bathroom, the same as any regular hotel room elsewhere. The room was on the third, last floor, with only one other triple room on that floor and a door isolating from the staircase. I was a little worried that we would be in a hostel and therefore it could get noisy, but it was very quiet. In fact, it was far better than a regular hotel in Lido we had just before. Our room had a fantastic view over the old town. We were in the Palladio museum in about 7min from the hotel. And the bus from Padua stopped virtually in front of the Ostello. Breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast, with cakes, ham, cheese, eggs, toast bread - again, we had it in several hotels and it is always the same. Coffee although from machine was good too.

We had seen a few ants in the room (but no other insects). Shower could be fixed. Still, overall positive.

The service was amazing, the girl working there was very kind and the breakfast very good. The location is good (Vicenza is a small town so you can walk everywhere), safe and there were many restaurants around, it's just 10min walking to the city center. They give you towels, shampoo and soap. The room was very small and maybe it's not a problem when it's not full, but I was there during the holiday so our room had 6 people and 2 snoring a lot during the night. I'm used to hostels and I know this is a risk we take, I even had my earplugs but couldn't sleep with the noise. I think if the room had less people it would be much better, but it's something I can't control. In general the hostel was a good choice.

The room was too small for 6 people.

I had an amazing stay at Ostello Di Vicenza hostel! The staff, especially Gianna, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She was extremely helpful, well-traveled, and truly understood the needs of fellow travelers. Her insights and recommendations made my experience even better. The hostel offers great value for money and exceeded all my expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and affordable stay!

It was very good value for money, we had a nice room towards the river, the receptionist was genuinely friendly, the breakfast was good, it was close to everything.

We liked everything - you just need to be aware you are booking a hostel for a very fair price so it didn’t bother us that some things you might expect (like a tv or a chair) were missing and some things like the faucet were temporarily fixed.

We had the twin room and we were quite satisfied. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious enough. We liked the separate bathroom and the comfort that came with it. Also the breakfast was good. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The only thing I would criticize is the AC. We didn't have anything in the room to regulate the temperature. The window was open the whole time so it wasn't completely suffocating in there. Would've still been nice to have a bit of a cooler room. But we slept really well nonetheless, so it's no drama.

The breakfast was tasty and the place has provided quite wide range of options especially taking into consideration this is a budget hostel rather than a hotel with a restaurant!

If you understand this is a budget place to spend night then you will see all those minor disadvantages like small rooms with little windows as justified by the price you pay. As the hostel is located in the town centre, no free parking is available. All above is not a criticism, but a piece of advice to those who may have way higher expectations.

The location was perfect - next to the city center with a bus stop in front to arrive. Michele, the receptionist, gave a warm welcome and helped in every way. The hostel was nice and quiet, bed comfortable and towels were provided. I liked the concept that each room had an own outside bathroom.

Room was a bit small and the communal area was not so cozy (right at the entrance).

Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, worked hard to create a community vibe. Rooms were very clean. Location was ideal, only a short walk to the train station and the main streets.

The mattress would often sink in the middle, leading to an uncomfortable night's sleep. The bathrooms were shaded, however they were allocated by room, it was annoying to be told I couldn't use a bathroom until my roommate had finished despite there being 3 empty bathrooms next to it.

It’s a good option for the money. Clean room with minimum furniture (beds, commode and a few shelves). The best part for these boiling hot days was AC. The bathroom was clear even though it is outside the room.

It’s just my personal attitude but the choose of food for breakfast was rather poor and the same for three days in row. Still, there was a breakfast on time every day, so no additional expenses for that :)
