The B&B is in a convenient location, a short walk to all the sights in Leuven (which is a beautiful and historic town). The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional - fresh pastries, homemade jams, etc. Onsite parking is a huge plus for drivers.
Since the B&B is located in an old building, there were many tight, narrow stairs to our room. Not at all unusual for historic towns, but this may be an issue for those with mobility problems or large luggage.

We enjoyed a warm welcome and plenty of information about sights and walks to occupy our time. We had a large room on the first floor with a comfortable bed and a seating area. The breakfast was very good, with cereals, a selection of cured meat and cheese and pastries. The location was perfect for a short sightseeing stay.
The room could be noisy in summer if you wanted the windows open as the road outside is quite busy.

We had a good choice of food for breakfast e.g. fresh fruit salad, very good bread, rolls, a variety of croissants, eggs, cold meats and cheeses etc. In addition, although we had tea and coffee making facilities in our rooms, Carmen had coffee, tea and biscuits in the breakfast room for her guests to help themselves at any time, which was very thoughtful. Our rooms were very spacious and well furnished and everything was clean and comfortable. An unexpected luxury was a little fridge in the room. The location of the accommodation was close to the centre, and to several eating places. It was occasionally a little noisy in the street at night, but this did not spoil our stay. We were fortunate to have a tram just around the corner which took us to the railway station in about 10 minutes, which was very useful since we went into Brussels three times during our five night stay. If we return to Leuven, we would certainly stay at Hotel De Pastorij again.
I don't think there was anything we had a problem with.

Lovey breakfast, with plenty of fresh fruit salad, as well as bread, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, juices, granola. Carmen is extremely caring, and I felt very welcome and looked after. I stayed in the suite, which is beautiful and very spacious. There are many restaurants nearby, and a supermarket only 200m away. Very centrally located. But extremely peaceful. You can sit and read, and have a drink in the lovely courtyard garden. Honesty fridge, with plenty of choice of drinks. Highly recommended.

The room was simple but comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was wonderful. Location is very good, close to the centre of town, restaurants etc.
It was very hot in Leuven when I visited and the room was too hot to sleep comfortably, even with the fan. The windows only opened a tiny bit.

Very helpful and informative about places to visit in Leuven, we were given a map of the city when we first arrived and directions about how to get places. The location was central and near many restaurants, bars and shops, and it was in a very beautiful area. Very accommodating, we decided we wanted to stay an extra night and they were able to do that! Breakfast was delicious with many options.

Very clean, quiet, easy 2-minute walk to a big market square. Doesn't feel like a "hotel". Feels like the owners really care about the property and guests.
Nothing about the hotel, it was all great. But if you haven't been to Leuven before, be warned there are bicyclists everywhere! So pay attention when walking and crossing streets...

Carman, our host could not have done more for us. From the moment we arrived, she was keen to show us where we were and where the best places were to vist, even giving us complimentary tourist maps. We had to leave early on the last day, before breakfast. She left us complimentary sandwiches, rolls and fruit, so we wouldn't go hungry. We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay.. Thanks Carman!
Nothing.

What a delightful place that far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a great location in that it is on a quiet side street in the old town but just meters away from the action. The room (named Michael) was enormous and comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. Highly recommend!
I was very pleased with all aspects of my stay.

Our landlady was very friendly, very helpful, she gave us all the local information we needed, the hotel was slap bang in the centre of the historic area, it was easy to walk to the main sites, and there were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The hotel was well maintained, everything worked, there was English Breakfast tea available at breakfast and in the bedroom, breakfast was nice with tasty items and fresh fruit.
