As everyone has said, the motel was so clean and the room was spacious and well equipped. The pool was the most perfect temperature. It is quite a long walk to the pool, so take pool shoes- and you need your own towel. The bed was very comfortable and the Tv was good quality and even had Netflix. The motel is oddly designed. Even though we had a back door close to the pool, there was no key, so we had to walk along the front, and then the back, of all the other units. The owners were lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

As above- the lack of easy access to the garden.

The staff went above and beyond to help with everything, with no hesitation ! The area was quiet and maybe a 5 minute drive to a shopping centre and other shops. The room was spacious, clean and a large, comfortable bed. Although I suffer from a temperamental back, I had no problems. My Husband and I had this wonderful Motor Inn booked as a stop - over on the way to Canberra from Melbourne and on the way back from Canberra to Melbourne. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone

I can't fault anyone / anything

The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely sunny outlook onto a lawn and pool.

The kitchen crockery was adequate for a one night stay but we were there for a week and it was irritating that there was only enough crockery and cutlery for 2 with no basins/bowls to cook even noodles in the microwave. A few extras for cooking and even a dishwash brush just make the stay more convenient. The receptionist seemed puzzled when I asked for an extra cup to give a visitor a hot drink and took some convincing that this was necessary!!!

Very quiet location, just right for studying after attending residential school at CSU, only 14 min drive to uni. Bed comfy, bathroom and kitchenette clean and has what is needed.

Shops not within walking distance you will need to drive. Curtains need updating, repair, I had to keep the full curtains closed as privacy curtains were no longer in place only one glass window covered with sheer curtain.

You have a view from the room and as you are outside the city you are not troubled with the noise from the road. A very exceptional thing in australia: our fridge wasnt running noisely.

There is a real acoustic problem (you hear everything from the other rooms: doors, waterpipes, conversations..) so you need to be lucky and have respectful neighbours. The pool could have been more clean (and the rooms also.. the sofa had not been vacuumed for a long time considering all the crumbles we found in it). The bed is tired and it's time to put some oil in the doors hinges. I think the owner was in a bad mood when we arrived as she wasnt very welcoming but maybe it was just a bad day.

Had a wonderful stay at Humecountry More Inn! The location was peaceful and charming, offering the perfect escape from the busy city life. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing all the comforts we needed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a lovely variety to start the day. Overall, a fantastic experience – highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

I usually stay at AirBnB but just needed somewhere at short notice this time. This place reminded me of all what's good about staying at a well-run, comfy motel. No guessing whether they'd be a tissue box or milk, for example or that the place would be clean. It was schmick and had a lovely vista looking over the landscaped gardens and pool and not too far were the foothills (yep, woken by birdsong, just lovely). Really helpful staff. When I arrived on the cusp of 8pm saying I was hungering for a pizza for dinner, they were quick to place a brochure in my hand of a pizzeria they highly recommend. One ph call and 10mins later I was picking up dins. No fuss.

For the price it exceeded my expectations. There were very good kitchenette facilities, microwave jug, toaster sink and cleaning supplies. The room was very spacious and clean. There was a lovely view of the nearby and distant hills from the bay window/balcony. The bed was comfortable. The location was on the out skirts of the city almost at the end of a local road. Excellent value.

Site had great parking. The rooms were large with even larger bathrooms. Rooms were well appointed. Rooms had good soundproofing. Good for couples romantic get away or with children. We had some issues with hot water. However the site rectified as soon as they could and we couldn't ask them to be more helpful. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis except on Sundays and that fact is Clearly explained. Some rooms have smart TV's so you can log onto your Netflix. And they also provide free WiFi. Cleaning staff are the best, very happy and helpful.

Shower pressure in our first room was bad. Suspect it had to do with some plumbing issues that we had later on. Don't let this comment deter you. As soon as a problem crops up they get it fixed. Our first room didn't have a smart TV but our second one did.

Very spacious, comfortable room with a very comfortable queen bed. It was good to have a sofa and decent-sized glass dining table, plus the kitchenette and bathroom facilities were good. My husband enjoyed the pool. We would happily stay again.

The toilet paper seemed very thin, and the outer, sheer nylon curtain was torn in a few places, so it definitely needed removing or replacing. Everything else was great!
