Cannot rate this B&B highly enough! The hostess was warm, friendly and very helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. Parking in the back is a bit of a squeeze if you have a larger car but fine with a bit of maneuvering. It's also located just down the road from the centre of Elgin and just a short walk away from my destination. Will absolutely be staying again both for work and for any holidays we take up there.

Very close to town centre but in a very quiet street. Everything exceeded our expectations, From the moment we got there Zofia our host, made us feel at home and showed us to our wonderful big clean room with a massive ensuite with a lovely freestanding bath, but she also give us the use of a shower room next door as my wife Hilary was unable to get into the bath. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Zofia has spent lots of years bringing the victorian house back to its formal glory and it is a total credit to her,. Thankyou Zofia for letting us spent 4 days in your wonderfull home and we will definitly be back again.

A splendid house very well located. It is 5 minutes walk from the station,5 minutes walk from the Town Centre and 10 minutes walk from the football ground. A very welcoming host who produced an excellent early cooked breakfast to allow me to catch an early morning train. My room was large comfortable and spotless. An excellent stay!

It rained ….. and even then there was a large umbrella to borrow .

Moraybank is an incredibly well run bed and breakfast with everything you need for a comfortable and homely stay. Zofia is so friendly and attentive and takes care of all your needs. Rooms are spacious, immaculate and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Good choices for breakfast and all beautifully cooked. Perfect location as close to all amenities.

Nothing

This was a pit stop for us on our way further north. The host was very accommodating with our late arrival, with a breezy smile she showed us our room and took our breakfast order. The room was huge and certainly provided enough space to enjoy a longer stay. The bed was probably one of the comfiest I have ever slept on which is extremely unusual for most B&B’s. Breakfast was served in a small dining room which was just as spacious as our bedroom, breakfast was absolutely lovely with the options of cereal and yogurt included with the Full English which is cooked to order.

It had been an extremely warm day and our room was uncomfortably hot, although a fan was provided it didn’t help to relive the stuffiness in the room. The sash and case window rope was broken and the window was propped open with a block of wood with a gap of about 6 inches. Had we been able to fully open the window we could have had some much needed cooler air through the night.

What a lovely place with an exceptionally friendly and understanding Host when I checked in later in the evening. The larger, spacious double room with an actual ornate bath, and provide bathing products, was just what the doctor ordered after a long work day. The property is located slap bang in the town centre and only a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and pubs. I had chosen the full cooked breakfast for the next morning and the Host had cooked it perfectly-so tasty. Bed and Breakfast properties this good, and so well hosted, are worth their weight in gold, I'll definitely be recommending it to colleagues, friends and family and will be staying here again whenever I'm in the area.

That I was only there for one night!

Everything. This bed & breakfast is an absolute gem. Starting from the building, which is of victorian style but grants all modern comforts without ruining the historical experience; continuing with the host, an incredibly kind lady named Sofia, who transmits her great passion for hospitality; finishing with breakfast, provided with fresh ingredients and lovely care.

Nothing.

Sophia runs this place with beauty and excellence. She will cook your breakfast herself! The rooms were quite organized, clean and smelling super fresh. The place was spotless! We are on a road trip with no plans, booking our hotels one night before, so this was a great surprise. Parking is available, house close to the Elgin Cathedral and even closer to the main street and to a series of restaurants.

To be fair, nothing.

Comfortable and clean twin room, very comfortable beds, good en suite (hot water straight away!). Breakfast choices were great and set us up for the day. Location was convenient for station and buses, and close to town centre with plenty of restaurants nearby. Sophie was a great host with plenty of useful tips and made us feel welcome.

Not much wrong, to be honest. Would have liked stronger wifi in the evenings, and maybe a second chair (the chaise longue was a bit low for sitting on), but nothing much to complain about.

The location and the price were why I picked Moraybank BnB. It is such a lovely house and the owner has really done an excellent job keeping it up. The room I stayed in was absolutely fabulous both for comfort and amenities. The ensuite bathroom with its lovely tub was perfect! The breakfast was excellent and the location is great for walking to all the shops and sites around Elgin.

The gravel path is hard to roll suitcases on, but just put your cases in the grass and you will find that a much easier way to move your case to the door.
