We loved that mimosas were included with breakfast! Very quiet, serene and luscious location. Chef is phenomenal and is an integral part of your stay--the food is spectacular.

Some of the restaurant staff were not so kind to patrons we heard them make fun of guests en Español . Additionally, we asked for more bread 1 time and our server made a disgusted face at us. No Bueno servicio.

The hotel was beautiful and the food was pretty good. Our room was lovely and cleaned each day. I appreciated the private walkway to the beach, though walking up that hill a few times a day was tiring! The staff was friendly and most helpful! I would definitely return!

There wasn't much not to like about Jardin del Eden!

The staff at this hotel was amazing. Like everyone in Costa Rica, they were exceptionally friendly. The grounds are amazingly landscaped. Restaurant and pool area were great, the separate beach area and bar was a nice plus. Spent every afternoon at that location taking in the sunset. Food at the restaurant was great and included in the room rate. its a fixed menu each night with 2 started and main meal options which changed each night - choices were good and I was never disappointed. Room was large, clean and quiet, but simply furnished. The location was extremely close to the north end of the beach - great for surfing, and close but not too close to all of the local shops/bars.... it's a little oasis in a great location. Looking forward to staying there on my next trip. If you want real Costa Rica stay away from the large international chain resorts and stay here.

As noted, the rooms are a bit simple, but that was not an issue for me. I really cant think of anything that I can complain about. I travel a lot and have stayed at some very nice (any many not so nice) hotels and resorts and this one is at the top of my list.

The staff that works at the Jardin are fabulous. They're always willing to help you out and make sure you feel taken care of. I love these folks and you will too. The food is fantastic and I enjoyed breakfast every single day along with dinner. You get vouchers to check out a couple of other places and the food is just as good there. The Beach Garden is great with a shower and a wading pool. There is a bar there and you can order food and watch the most spectacular sunset. It is very comfortable and relaxing. We stayed in a room with a hot tub on the Porch and I love that. I used it pretty much every day and it helped me to sleep very well

There aren't enough hooks in the bathroom for towels and robes. I had to have a mattress pad put on the bed which helped out a lot. They are new beds and they are comfortable but not soft enough for me. Thankfully the staff was there to take care of that. The fan on the back porch only had one speed and it was slow but I never said anything to anybody but I'm sure had I said something they would have fixed it.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff and lovely food. Amazing welcome with prosecco. Felt like a little paradise spending time by the pool. Great location- felt very secluded but actually very close to walk into town. Lovely private beach area and really enjoyed the daily 7am yoga which was there and included for free. Would 100% recommend this hotel- they really went out of their way to make everything special!

Exceptional ! Room was large and very clean with a nice little balcony overlooking the pool. Location was superb, we could walk into town within a few minutes. Staff were always friendly and attentive. Dinner was always different every day and good quality ! Bonus was as they are partners with the Diría hotel we were given a voucher and were able to have dinner at one of the partner restaurants! Hotel grounds are beautiful , very well maintained and the hotel was never too busy. The pool was also beautiful !

Vegetarian option was the same every night for dinner so that could be changed more often!

This hotel is wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed staying here. You get a delicious spread for breakfast and a fantastic meal at dinner included in the price. Drinks of any kind we paid for. It’s adults only. The staff is great. The tour desk booked all of our excursions and travel to/from airport. I recommend staying here.

The only negative item about the property is there were steps due to the terrain. If we go to Costa Rica again- I will ask to be on the ground floor. That will cut down on steps. It’s not a lot to some but I have a hip issue so I have to be careful.

We really loved everything about the resort. The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating, the grounds including the pool and beach area were beautiful. We loved the small infinity pool and bar at the beach area! Breakfast was exceptional-something for everyone. We had 3 dinners and they were all fantastic. Our room had a balcony with a view of the ocean and sunsets (although we were down on the beach at sunset time). We even saw a family of monkeys climbing through the trees!

We didn't like that we had to leave!
