I did a lot of research to compare The Base to other similar apartment accommodations and AirBnB type rentals. Our room had a small kitchenette area, comfortable queen bed and small table with two chairs and large bathroom. It met all of our needs very comfortably. The additional seating in the lobby area and the addition of a workout room, made our stay perfect and much more cost effective than other options. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions.

The only problem we had was keeping the room cool. We were there in July and the temperature was quite warm. What we understood was the AC was limited to a small temperature range and even with the blackout curtains and the window louvers closed it was warm and stuffy.

Staff were super nice and friendly. The day after we arrived they made a barbeque which was so nice of them to invite us. We made some friends while there! The room we had, had everything one could ask for. The kitchen which was equipped with every single thing you need if you wanted to cook. The bed was comfy. A large TV and a table to eat and a cute small couch. A fridge a kettle and pots and pans. It felt homey and super clean. The only downside was that it was a bit far from the City center and transportation was a little tricky for us. But we always made it back to the hotel and felt safe.

The check-in and check-out process was very easy, even self-service when the receptionist wasn’t available. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, with a nice design and a pleasant view from the window. Overall, it was a great stay✨

The location isn’t the best, as it’s a 15–20 minute walk to the subway, and the bus to the subway stop doesn’t run on Sundays or late evenings. The area feels quite industrial and a bit intimidating to walk alone at night. Also, cleaning and towel changes are only done once a week, though this wasn’t an issue for me.

We didn`t have the breakfast included. The location was easy to find, and it was accessible with public transport. The room was nice and it had everything needed, and it was clean. Overall, it was a nice experience.

The room was prepared for one person, with a bed a little bit bigger than a one-person bed, even if we made the reservation for 2 people. Also the towels were for only one person. As we arrived late at night, we had to do the self check-in, and the instructions in the email were not that clear, as the QR code received in the email did not work. We figured it out eventually, but it was stressful.

Meanness. 1 toilet roll for 2 people for 6 days. No shower gel or starter pack for kitchen. Duvet big enough for 1 person not 2. Bed not big enough for 2 tall people (1m30 wide) - not queen size as claimed, and not acceptable. Luckily my partner's flight was cancelled or we would hand w elbowed each other in the face every night The good value for money lightens the negative aspects somewhat but the bed size was not clear nor was the size of the duvet. Mean. Breakfast not very varied but again given the budget you could forgive this. Closeness to public transport - Am Hart U-bahn station not accessible due to blocks in the middle not being accessible. Walked to Frankfurter Ring station instead so about 15 minutes but again not clear.

Great for the price, we realy liked that we could use a microwave and a kettle in the shared space. We also enjoyed the garden. Very quite, more of an industrial neighbourhood but worked perfect for us since we were only visiting for a concert. There is a Lidl store near by - 10 minutes walk. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Easy check out and online check in.

A bit far from the metro - 20 minute walk but with no luggage it is not a problem. There are also car sharing, bicycles and scooters options.

The Base Munich is a great accomodation. Good value for price, the rooms are really cosy, the bede are comfortable, breakfast is perfectly fine. Staff was really kind to us and ready to help with whatever we needed. Would return!

It’s not something we weren’t aware about, but it’s a bit far away from the City Centre. However, you’re going to a concert in Olympiapark or you’re trying to visit BMW Welt/Museum - the location is perfect!

The place is absolutely spotless and the staff are attentive and helpful. The Base has the makomgs of a brilliant hotel and with just a few little.changes it could be a so much better. The location isn't amazing, it's a few miles from the centre of town. That being said, Valentino was very helpful ordering us taxis and giving us local tips on where to stop for a cheaper fair etc. I can't fault the staff, friendly polite and courteous evweytime we spoke.

The breakfast is very small, it's best to assume they don't have a breakfast and get something in Munich as opposed to having breakfast here. There's no bar so sitting down on a evening tiem isn't an option, there's no facilities inside the rooms for making tea and coffee and the power outlets are too few. In the main lobby there is a microwave, kettle and some salt and pepper, looks lovely but there's no tea or coffee for use of the kettle. It's a wonderful hotel just lacks finishing touches. The shower screen isn't quite big enough and consequently when having a shower the water ends up all over the bathroom and with nowhere to dry towels it needs a little bit more thought on it.
