This hotel has improved lately. Friendly, helpful staff. Room recently been renovated. Clean. Adequate spa facilities. Good food.

We really loved how kind and helpful all the staff was especially the lovely receptionist PAMELA she was the person who greeted us when we first arrived to the hotel, she was so helpful even with all our questions and so nice when we had our treatments cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and explained everything about the facilities, 10/10 best spa hotel we have ever been through. Overall very friendly, understanding staff and amazing facilities and the food!!!!! It was gorgeous, will definitely be coming here again.

This is starting to sound like we are getting paid to write this but I can honestly say this place has no faults everything and everyone was exceptional and me and my partner will be coming back here in the foreseeable future

We were upgraded to a newly refurbished room which was very clean, comfy and stylish, it was an accessible room which we didn't need personally but the bathroom in particular was very well designed for disabled access. We didn't have time to use the spa so I can't comment on that. Food was excellent.

Just a couple of minor niggles eg there weren't any towel rails, and the washbasin tap was sensor operated and only dispensed cold water so you couldnt just have a quick face wash very easily. Also i think you could do with a mirror in the bedroom and windows that open so you can get a bit of fresh air.

The staff were amazing! huge thank you to Elijah and Vicky in the restaurant / bar area who were fantastic, made our stay very fun and but very professional, brilliant! The food was delicious, so big thank you for the chef/s too, and the breakfast host who was really helpful, quick and efficient. Jane on the reception was fantastic in organising an accessible room, thank you, and a really warm welcome when we arrived from Jane too! It was a lovely area in the spa, just what we needed, a lovely break with spa, very clean, staff in the hotel and spa couldn't be more helpful. We'll definitely be returning - thank you!

Nothing really, except it was quite hot, but that's the weather, the fan in the room was very greatly received! Although it's near quite a main road, the shape of the hotel means that seated areas outside for eating/drinking, most of the rooms, the spa etc are all away from the road, so it isn't really a problem.

Beautiful hotel and spa. Gorgeous location with Clumber Park in walking distance. All the staff were super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was lovely. Had breakfast, which is a bit of everything you need in a good, hearty breakfast. The evening meal was delicious. Really good price too. Had an afternoon tea, which was very pretty, well presented, and delicious. An absolute must try for that extra special treat. The pool was very clean and a great size and temperature. We enjoyed the sauna and steam room, which was again a good size, clean, and great temperature. We stayed in a newly refurbished room with a double and single bed. The beds were dressed beautifully and were very comfortable. The decor was very tasteful and well presented. Had plenty of refreshments stocked daily in our room. The pool was open to children at certain times of the day, so there was plenty of family time as well as adult only swim time. We didn't try any treatments at the spa, nor did we use the gym. We are definitely coming back!

The only thing I can think of what I didn't like is, for some reason, the breakfast sausages on our second morning were not to my liking (just my reference). The first and third mornings were the same delicious taste.

Staff very professional and friendly, especially the lady on 20th in the morning. Location was perfect for myself and my partner. Ample parking. Lots of facilities and good opening times for them. Breakfast was nice. Early check in/late check out option (if available) Excellent and quick communication from the property when I communicated via messaging on booking.com Cleanliness Didn't notice the road noise at all Signage and entrance very straight forward Takeaways do deliver, so that is handy. Bar is nice and inviting as well

The room was very hot even with a fan. The bed was a bit too soft for me, but that's a personal thing. Far too many cobwebs at the window

The beds were super comfy and there was water, tea coffee and biscuits provided. we loved the pool and spa The staff were all friendly and helpful when we asked for mums birthday cake to be refrigerated and brought out after our meal. The waiter was fantastic and food so lovely! The manager helped my dad with his walker and sat chatting to them. Lovely guy.

The hotel is not well set up for accessibility for guests with reduced mobility. Too many steps down in to the restaurant and lift not working. Luckily we were given close ground floor rooms as requested but there was very little flexibility with check in even though my parents were only asking at 2.50 The waiter was rushed off his feet in the restaurant and needed extra help The was no full length mirror in the rooms

General manager, John and receptionist, Pamela made us feel very welcome. Greeted with Pamela’s warm and welcoming smile as we entered reception, we checked in and went to the room. The room was very clean, comfortable, a nice temperature and quiet but we, personally, didn’t want a double with two twins so we enquired about the possibility of moving to a double room. John and Pamela took the opportunity to rectify this for us and upgraded us to the bridal suite at no extra cost. We had had quite the experience in the previous days leading up to this stay so we were incredibly happy. During the whole process, they were extremely friendly and easy to talk to, very approachable. During our stay, they were always there to conveniently deal with any requests or questions, or even just to have a friendly chat with. They both bring a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere to the place with their warm personalities and friendly faces. We truly enjoyed staying there and would definitely return again soon. We had another lovely stay at Clumber Park Hotel — even better than our previous visits, which really shows how much things have improved. We stayed over the weekend to celebrate my birthday and were very pleased with our cosy, newly decorated room, beautiful public spaces, and friendly, professional staff. This was our third visit, and it just keeps getting better. A special thank you as always to Pamela at reception and Janroy in the restaurant for looking after us so well. This hotel is now a certified family favourite, especially with its proximity to Clumber Park. We’ll definitely be back again.

Super location, easy to find. Great staff all around hotel, very helpful. Rooms very clean with nice bathroom. Forest around, magical, green place. Big car park. Breakfast second to none, eat as much as you can. We had our breakfast after gym on the morning and then pool swimming. Very close Cumber park, great place for couples. Magic Sherwood Forest. We loved it and will definitely come back there again. Thank you Muthu Clumber Park Hotel 😘
