This hotel has improved lately. Friendly, helpful staff. Room recently been renovated. Clean. Adequate spa facilities. Good food.

Outdoor jacuzzi not working again. Food no longer available in the Spa area.

General manager, John and receptionist, Pamela made us feel very welcome. Greeted with Pamela’s warm and welcoming smile as we entered reception, we checked in and went to the room. The room was very clean, comfortable, a nice temperature and quiet but we, personally, didn’t want a double with two twins so we enquired about the possibility of moving to a double room. John and Pamela took the opportunity to rectify this for us and upgraded us to the bridal suite at no extra cost. We had had quite the experience in the previous days leading up to this stay so we were incredibly happy. During the whole process, they were extremely friendly and easy to talk to, very approachable. During our stay, they were always there to conveniently deal with any requests or questions, or even just to have a friendly chat with. They both bring a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere to the place with their warm personalities and friendly faces. We truly enjoyed staying there and would definitely return again soon. We had another lovely stay at Clumber Park Hotel — even better than our previous visits, which really shows how much things have improved. We stayed over the weekend to celebrate my birthday and were very pleased with our cosy, newly decorated room, beautiful public spaces, and friendly, professional staff. This was our third visit, and it just keeps getting better. A special thank you as always to Pamela at reception and Janroy in the restaurant for looking after us so well. This hotel is now a certified family favourite, especially with its proximity to Clumber Park. We’ll definitely be back again.

Comfortable bed, secondary glazing which kept the room quiet despite our room being only feet away from a busy road. The Christmas decorations were very nice. Breakfast was lovely as was our waitress.

The reception and lounge are very smart and obviously refurbished. The corridor to the rooms was a bit tired although there was work going on to refurbish the actual rooms themselves. Our room was refurbished and beautifully decorated yet the furniture was old fashioned and a bit tatty and looked out of place. Similarly the bathroom fittings, shower mixer etc had not been replaced when so much else had. I look forward to going back when all the work is completed

This is a fantastic hotel based in Clumber. The staff team were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It felt very much like an extended home stay. The team were attentive and kind and welcoming through out the whole stay. Especially the manager John and Pamela. The food was lovely and the price for the steaks ( cooked to perfection was a steal .. you could really see how well the other guests were accommodated for. The facilities are great value and the breakfast excellent . This is a great find for the price and location.

Check-in was easy, staff very pleasant, bit of a struggle with cases going upstairs as no lift. Room was lovely, although a bit tired & very warm - we were able to open the windows and there was a fan. We found the beds didn't suit us, but we were only there for one night. Plenty of storage. Plenty of tea and coffee, although no bottled water. No robes included. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Evening meal was ok, staff were attentive and we didn't feel rushed. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice.

There was no lift, the rooms were very tired. Went down to the spa - asked to hire robes - none available as given out to people using the spa. Nothing else was offered, so we asked for towels, which were reluctantly given (the staff member actually rolled her eyes at us) The shower heads in the changing room are in need a good clean. Disappointed there was no rumble machine to take the excess water out of our costumes.

The staff were lovley, it was clean and tidy, pool was warm which is important to me, I hate cold water. Better than we expected, some reviews had us woried. I didn't use the gym, Id like to next time. I actually got up to use the pool before breakfast, I hate getting up. The pool times were great we used it in the eve and then in the morining. The bed was comfortable and clean, the room was nice. Staff helpful and we will stay again

They don't accept cash! It had a smell in some hallways but it is a big building and must take a lot of upkeep,

We booked for Afternoon Tea and decided to stay overnight. We were greeted with friendly & helpful staff & seated for our tea. The food was very good & well presented with sandwiches, cakes & warm scones, all delicious. We booked in and had a room on the ground floor a short walk from the spa facility, which is a bonus to be able to use. I used the swimming pool a couple of times, the water was a nice temperature and nice o be able to have complimentary towels. All in all a lovely stay with a lovely buffet breakfast before we left. Plenty of hot & cold choices to start your day The hotel is located in a lovely area with opportunities for long walks

The rooms that we booked were great for our needs... Each had a large double bed with a single, too. Hotel booked primarily to have a central location for a family gathering that also offered food. This place did, and Judy, who looked after us, couldn't have been more helpful. So a massive thanks to her. The food we ordered was plentiful, tasty, and well made. A pedestrian entrance to Clumber Park is almost directly across the road, so this was perfect to stretch the legs and enjoy a nice country walk. Stupidly left a couple of jackets there, and the staff were great recovering them both and holding them until we could arrange collection.

The only thing of note was that the room was quite hot. Opening the window helped cool the room, but this allowed in road noise as our room was on the ground floor, road side. It didn't stop us enjoying our stay though.

The staff were amazing. Great facilities. Would go again. Was upgraded to a recently decorated room, which was just lovely. The spa was clean and a great addition. Towels are provided for the spa.

Only a few issues, but nothing to deter me from going again. The mirror is too high to use when sitting at the desk so different to do hair/make up. A long mirror would be a nice addition to see your outfit. The shower wasn’t the best, but was fine for a one night stay. No plug for the bath.
