My wife and I spent two nights at Alaya Verde before Christmas and were absolutely delighted. The location, nestled in nature, was beautiful and perfect for a little getaway. We were able to observe numerous birds and even kangaroos in the garden – a truly special experience. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Duncan prepared a fantastic dinner for us on a Sunday, and the breakfast was tailored to our personal preferences. The room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and equipped with everything we needed.

Gina and Duncan have made the property a safe haven for all. They are welcoming, kind, hospitable, accommodating, and overall just wonderful human beings. If you’re a nature-lover seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle, or a couple who’s wanting time to reconnect/ recharge away from family, this is your sign to explore Alaya Verde. Breakfast views may include majestic sulfur-crested cockatoos and friendly kangaroos! The property is only a 25-minute drive from Noosa Heads too, in case you want to spend time by the beach.

This is a beautiful property in a stunning location. It's close to the Everglades and busy Noosa beaches, but in a completely calm and tranquil setting, immersed in Nature. The hosts could not have been more welcoming, friendly and professional. We enjoyed a gastronomic dinner on the first evening, and the breakfasts were great. The pool was a welcome treat after a day exploring the area and we had the added pleasure of watching a family of kangaroos on the lawn.

The hosts were absolutely amazing and SO accomodating and friendly! The atmosphere was 10/10. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and our personalised order for breakfast was taken. The scenery from the privacy of our room and the wildlife were sensational!

That we didn’t book and extra night to hang around during the day and enjoy the pool and spa.

This was an incredible experience. We experienced something rare here. Australian rainforest with sounds and sights to delight. Rooms gracefully created. Feelings of peace we didn't know existed. Hosts that are as present or absent as you desire. Insightful, lovely hosts. We left and began to miss it in increasing intensity. You just can't buy stuff like this...

The 3km access road is not perfect but ok if you drive a car at maximum 40kph. SUV or 4WD no problem at all.

Alaya Verde is a unique experience tucked away in the woods about 25 minutes outside of Noosa. Absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are all individually and beautifully decorated. The pool is refreshing, breakfast was healthy, fresh food and the wildlife around the property is in abundance.

Whilst I was eating an amazing home-cooked breakfast, I had to stop and give a review. It’s very rare to find a B&B that lives up to the reputation. This does. Simple as that. The wonderful couple that facilitate this place ensure that you feel welcome. We were made to feel far more than welcome. I will recommend this place to everyone, given it’s flawless. Yes you’re 13km’s outside the main drag, but I’d rather chilling with Duncan, than ensconced with Hastings St shops. Accommodation is a huge factor when booking holidays, so please factor in this place. It’s assured that you won’t regret. Ps. Love the fire place and kangaroos.

Fabulous outdoor private bath. Opted to have dinner at the property one night, which was delicious, incorporating some home-grown ingredients from the garden.

Room was not serviced during our stay, not a major issue but unexpected. Not the cleanest pool.

The property was quite clean and private. A very relaxing and restful atmosphere with gracious hosts who enjoy having people as guests and makes great effort to create a space where you can relax!

Please supply some hooks or similar to hang up wet towels and swimmers.
