Such a nice bright airy room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice view from the balcony and the pool area. Pool area was nice and usually quiet during our stay. Staff are really helpful and also do free luggage transfers from the port but make sure you arrange this before so they know to come for you. New water as much as you need, and beach/pool towels to borrow for free. Laundry service was cheap and reliable :) really enjoyed staying here and would recommend

The door key is welded to the electric key so you cannot leave your air con on whilst out. You have paid for a room with air con, you should be allowed to use it as you please throughout your stay. Hiking up the many steps to the room and getting into a boiling hot room wasnt an option for us so we had to leave our room unlocked for our entire stay and pack everything into bags and padlock them every time. We chose somewhere further from the main area to try and avoid the noise but as the rooms are so high up hill the music from the beach is just blasting into the room all night till 2am & ear plugs alone did not help, not the hotels fault but if the room had proper windows/door this could help a lot.

We got a room with a sea view, and the view was great. The staff were super friendly. For somewhere near the centre, it was relatively quiet, although you do still hear noise from the clubs until around 2-3am.

Club noise (as mentioned above). There were exactly 127 steps to get to the room - saw other comments complaining about this as well but still went for it. In the heat they were killer and are not for anyone who struggles with their mobility - we're 23 and struggled.

The value is great as for Phi Phi islands. You can easily walk everywhere and it's close to the shops, restaurants etc. It's also close to the viewpoints. As others mentioned, there are a lot of steps, but it's quick to get up (if you are less fit you will just need to take it slower). The balcony is nice as you can see both sides of the sea. We weren't expecting much for the price that we paid, and it's what you get - a clean room to sleep in with no major luxuries.

The shower is really basic, albeit clean. It's not the hotel's fault, but you can still hear the music from the beach bars (Slinkys) - we think you would hear that music everywhere in the centre though, so if you want a quiet night sleep, I'd recommend choosing accommodation on the other parts of the island.

Amazing view, lovely room, awesome balcony. Very comfortable stay and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were even allowed to add an extra night last minute which was great. Free bottled water was appreciated. Stairs are a bit annoying but worth it for the view and staff were so helpful bringing our bags up.

The ac in our room was really bad, it kept shutting off making for some really stuffy sleepless nights. Worked well the first night so not sure what happened. Also the pool was a bit gross, kind of green and had lots of dead bugs. Also too warm, wasn’t refreshing.

Close enough to everything you need, decent sized room with fridge & safe, free towels provided for the beach. Staff very friendly especially the people who collect your bags from the pier and take them up to your room! Great views of the island from the rooms at the top!

Can still hear the noise from the bars at night despite being away from the action considering how small Phi Phi Don is. The stairs are tough depending how far up you are, unless you have a relative level of fitness I’d recommend elsewhere.

- nice staff at the reception and helpful - I was picked up from the pier and didn't have to carry my luggage all the way - nice view - air conditioning - bed - room service - Shower spray + bathroom - Shower gel and shampoo and soap available - Pool area (good view, sun protection and loungers) - Location (you can walk everywhere quickly, but you are far enough away from the party area)

- Ants in the bathroom, there were so many ants in my toiletry bag... - after room service I always had mosquitoes in my room... Maybe the staff should keep the doors closed during cleaning - Towels have stains - In the morning there was already cleaning or renovation work going on in the room next to me, that shouldn't be the case in my opinion. At the end of the day, the guests are here to sleep and the hotel should at least not make any noise so early in the morning.

The staff were amazing and lovely people. They were very attentive. They waited for us at the ferry to take our bags to the hotel . They then carried our bags to our room for us . Me and my boyfriend both got ill here unfortunately but they let us extend our stay 3 times bless them . They let us sit on the balcony whilst the cleaner cleaned our room for us . A few times I had to go out to the shop on my own to get some meds for my partner and the staff would ask if he was okay and if he was feeling better which I thought was lovely . The staff made this hotel great . We loved the little dog that they have sitting in reception. The pool area is lovely

A LOT of steps but after a couple of days we got used to it . Honestly if you’re fairly fit it’s not a big deal .

The view is amazing. The room is basic but comfortable and clean. There is nice balcony in front. You can hear music in the distance from the beach, but not loud enough to keep you from sleeping. Depending on what room you get the view might not be as good. We got the highest room 31. The staff waiting us at pier, carried our bags to the room and back to pier when we checked out. The room is maybe 10-15m below the view point 1.

There are quite a few steps to get to the room. During the day it can get extremely hot, luckily the room has AC, but when you're not in it it turns off.

Great view from the upper cottages, nice little swimming pool, clean and comfortable room, lovely staff.

Slightly further out location (15 mins walk to center of town) doesn't help you escape the beach bar noise (and the higher up you go for a better a view, the more noisy it gets from beach bar noise). Stairs may put some people off but kept me fit without need for gym and good training for the Viewpoint! Swimming pool is a mosquito magnet (could do with mosquito coils) and can get dirty.

The room was clean, simple, and as described. The hotel is located on a hill, as its name suggests, so be prepared to walk up some stairs. If stairs don’t bother you, the views are absolutely worth it. We stayed at the hotel for one night. The sounds of Phi Phi's central nightlife mostly don’t reach the hotel, so the night was relatively peaceful. Upon checking out, we found it somewhat amusing that we had to wait in the lobby for a moment while the reception staff used a walkie-talkie to request another staff member to inspect our room before we could leave. I’m not sure if this is just a standard practice on Phi Phi islands, but it was an entertaining experience nonetheless.
