Perfect location, calm and quiet, easy to commute to the shopping areas. Excellent and friendly professional staff, food was tasty. From the check in process till we left we were taken care of superbly well. Few names of staff Priyansha, Ayush, Ravi n Pritam I remember were super helpful and caring though all their staff are super.

No one to check and ensure guests are taking a body water wash before entering the pool - proper pool hygiene

Trident is a hotel I know since many years. Over the years the property has become old and the smell of an old biulding has set in but still the charm of the hotel remains. The location is in a peaceful place away from all sorts of pollution. If you have a car of your own, it's a perfect stay. The hotel is kept clean everwhere. It's all smiling faces everwhere and very helpful staff. The house keeping staff were excellent. In fact all the staff were excellent.

If the carpets in the long corridors gets a replacement or a through cleaning, I guess the the Hotel will smell great. The lift is fine but needs some renovation. The GYM is fine but needs renovation.

While peaceful and relatively close to fort kochi (15min by tuktuk), there’s nothing around the hotel. So you need to rely on ferry or taxi, no attractions around in the evening. I didn’t mind that as getting back from fort kochi was easy Bar wasn’t working at that time, so couldn’t get beer or even coke in the evening in hotel or neighbourhood Restaurant was slightly too expensive, particularly naans Windows in the room can’t be opened

We really enjoyed the widespread breakfast, which included both Kerala delicacies and healthy options. The restaurant staff was especially considerate—offering a complimentary dessert and salad during one of our dinners, and even packing an early breakfast for our daughter before our flight. The hotel staff also guided us well on nearby travel options, helping us avoid city traffic. While the location is a bit secluded, it felt very safe. Just a note: the access road isn’t well-lit, so it’s best to avoid late-night strolls.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We were given a wonderful room overlooking the pool. A tranquil environment The staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing and the staff excellent in the restaurant. The Chef produced some great dishes on par with international standards. The check out was made so easy by Rajeev and we had a nice packed breakfast as we left early for the airport. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I liked everything about this hotel and as I said this is a really great property to stay at in Cochin, as its away from the busy parts of the city.

Room was small but worked well. Bed was comfy, pillows good. Shower worked well with some seepage from the glass doors of the tub. The pool was nice but the gym looked too small and was avoided. Breakfast was ample and varied with the possibility to order eggs and dosas to your table. Staff at breakfast were quick, courteous and attentive. Front desk staff were friendly and willing to h. Eventual. elp but need to really learn enough about the city they work in to help guests with basic concierge services

Knowledgeable reception staff would have helped. Eventually, had to get tips from the General Manager!

Nice hotel with a beautiful pool, although as some reviews mentioned, the rooms are a bit dated (but clean). Our room was spacious with lots of storage space, which would make it appropriate for a multi nights stay (unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night). The breakfast spread is incredible, for this price point (62€/night for 2 pax). Dosas made to order were excellent, crispy and light. I would stay there again just for the breakfast! The hotel is only a short ride away (<80rs via Uber) from the ferry (6rs) to Fort Kochi or Ernakulam. The ferry is every 15-20 minutes or so, it was very convenient.

Noise insulation is so-so (could hear tv from the adjacent room, and people talking in the corridor, but I am very sensitive to noise). The management kindly gave us a room far from the pool and family rooms, so it was still very quiet at night. Some small details: lamp shades were stained, bath's door did not close properly and water leaked on the bathroom's floor. Overall, I think this hotel's current rating at 8.5 is appropriate. I attached a picture of the complimentary "high tea" which was a bit of a disappointment (and it took 20 minutes to have it served).

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The facilities were beautiful, with a clean and stylish design throughout. The furniture was tasteful, and the entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming. What truly made my experience exceptional, however, was the amazing staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate every special request I had and were incredibly helpful in assisting with tour arrangements. A special mention goes to Nandana at the reception, whose friendliness and efficiency stood out and truly enhanced my stay. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day right. Overall, the team’s attentiveness and professionalism made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained place with outstanding service. I will definitely return!

Everything was perfect

It’s a beautiful hotel with great amenities. The staff are extremely friendly, too.

The location is quiet but you’ll need to walk or organise a taxi to get anywhere.

Everything was Super Excellent. The Reception was warm and familial. Even given the choice of doing the check in at the room. Highly efficient and supportive Front Office Staff. The one person I would like to mention is Ms. Priya Sharma of the Front Desk Reservations even though all the Front Office Staff was excellent. Great Food at the Travancore Restaurant. Super Authentic Kerala Fare cooked by Chef Praveen & Chef Ajmal. Thank you so much. The Restaurant F&B Service was SUPER. Excellent would be an insufficient adjective to say the least about the Staff starting with the Restaurant Manager Abel and well supported by Faise and the other Restaurant Staff. Faise even went out of his way to prepare special tea for us. Good Maintenance Staff and Housekeeping Staff. Unable to take all names however special mention of Varghese in the housekeeping staff. Really super Spa with professional highly knowledgeable masseurs. The swimming pool and Garden Area has quite a calming and serene atmosphere with the Greenery and landscape. Tea with Banana Cake and Onion Fritters (Pakodas) was really wonderful. Comfortable pick up and drop in a Toyota Innova Crysta and drops and pickups arranged if one wants to take the ferry from the Embarkation Jetty. Overall, a stay to remember. Anytime I go to Cochin, the Trident Cochin is my place to stay. A special mention of the Hotel GM Mr. Kirubhakaran KP who went out of his way in his busy schedule to check on our stay and the Housekeeping Manager and the Front Desk & Reservations Manager who assisted and checked on our stay.

Well, nothing specific but there are minor plumbing issues and wall seepage which needs attention.
