Great location, had all the amenities you needed and super responsive and helpful host!

The bed was quite uncomfortable. You could also hear the people upstairs walking around but think that is normal for London :)

Convenient location a few minutes walk from Angel tube station. Clean, comfortable and well equiped for a few days stay.

It was on the first floor and I had a heavy case to carry upstairs on my own.

Good location, nice space with everything you need for apartment living. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet but the living room can be a bit noisy sometimes because of the cars. The tube station Angel is just around the corner but I walked most places from here. Neighborhood felt safe. I would stay again.

I wouldn’t recommend trying to shower and use the dishwasher at the same time though. For some reason, the water in the shower stopped flowing. Got woken up by noisy children in the hallway.

Overall, I had a positive experience. The location was excellent, with the Angel station easily accessible by foot, and there were plenty of shops nearby, which was very convenient. I was also impressed with the size of the apartment, especially the living room, which was spacious and had a Smart TV that allowed us to use Netflix and other streaming services. The kitchen was large and had almost everything we needed.

However, there were a few downsides. It was stated that the kitchen was fully equipped, but unfortunately, there was no frying pan, which we were counting on. We also had some trouble with the oven, but luckily, we could reach the host through the Booking.com messenger, and they responded within minutes, which was great! Although, we still never got the frying pan. Another drawback was that the building seemed like a townhouse with three apartments, each on a separate floor. The doors were more like room doors than actual apartment doors, so we could hear the neighbors upstairs and downstairs quite clearly. Finally, the bathroom was on the small side, particularly the shower, which was a bit cramped.

Location was great! 5min walk to angel station/islington high street. Flat was very clean and bed really comfy. The neighbour downstairs was lovely and let us park our car overnight out the front.

The check-in process was unnecessary. Instead of having a lock box key for us to access any time after check-in time they sent someone to greet us at the property. This was to show us around the property which was completely unnecessary (its only a 1 bedroom flat!) and it was hard for us to tell them the exact time of arrival as we'd been travelling. - The shower is very small and the shower head is too big for it. The water inevitably overflows so we got an email from the property managers to take care as it leaks into the flat below. - They provided a coffee machine but no coffee pods and just 3 washing liquids, two of which were split open so unusable. - The laundry is shared with the flat upstairs but we couldnt find anywhere to hang our laundry. - You can hear all footsteps from the flat upstairs. My partner and i are deep sleepers so didnt really bother us but if you're a light sleeper this might be an issue.

The Angel is an interesting part of East London. this property was in Angel.

The property is located right on City Road which is very busy and very noisy. It’s also a major arterial for emergency emergency vehicles so difficult for sleeping. The bedroom window would not open so we could no t access fresh air through that and had to open the front window which was right on the busy road in order to get fresh air into the flat. The carpets desperately needed replacing as were dirty and stained. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding had not been upgraded for a long time. Pillows were hard and lumpy and the bedding was substandard. Could barely squeeze into the shower and the sink was so small that you could not wash your face without getting water all over the floor. The caulking in the shower and in the bathroom was both dirty moldy. Overall extremely tired and not worth the money. The Altido property services company was unprofessional and honestly I would not have a group like that representing one of my rental properties.
