Cannot express how amazing this hotel is. After a long flight and drive from Munich, arriving here was like walking into a dream. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating with our large group, the location is just on the edge of town center, and the room was perfect in every way. The large tub was great for toddler bath time (and mom relax time as well!) The balcony featured breathtaking views and lovely flowers. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE! For any Americans, think a 5 star villa in Vail or Aspen, but with much better food and at a much better price point.

Wouldn’t change a thing!

Everything. Great reception staff, the size and layout of the room, comfortable bed and bedding, very modern and scrupulously clean bathroom, the balcony!!! off our room with a gorgeous view, the private parking area—a lot directly behind the hotel or an underground garage to choose from, and the breakfast — vast assortment of hot/cold offerings. We would definitely stay again!

Observation, not a dislike—the hotel restaurant could use more help in the evening. While the food was very good, the service was friendly, but excruciatingly slow. With reservations, we waited over 25 minutes for anyone to come by the table to offer us water., and another 15 to take our order, but only after we walked to the bar and got a menu for ourselves. We were there for two hours for soup and salad, and others that ordered more complex menus than us (and were there before us) received their food shortly before we left.

The room was large, comfortable, quiet and with nice furniture and decoration. The bed was really good. The bathroom was big and nice, although we took some time to find the way to lower a curtain which closed the view of the bathroom from the rest of the room. The location was convenient, and the parking place closeby and not too expensive. Breakfast was excellent. The staff, apparently made of a single lady not always on the premises (but we were definitely during the off-season), was extremely nice and friendly. Everything worked OK.

As said earlier when we arrived we found nobody at the reception and in fact we had to wait before being allowed to enter the hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for both days we stayed there.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed. The room was beautifully decorated with attention to details, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The gym and the SPA are great . Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Oberammergau.

This was the nicest hotel we have stayed in Europe - top notch flair everywhere, from a gorgeous workout room to the apples waiting in our rooms to the nice spa (hot tub and several saunas).

We arrived on a mo day, which was the only day the hotel restaurant was closed :(. This was fine, since the hotel is so close to many other restaurants, but I really wanted to try their beer.

A great stay overall. The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, varied, and high quality. The spa area (especially the sauna and hammam) was spotless and relaxing. Staff were professional and helpful throughout. The location is convenient for both the town and nearby nature spots. I’ll definitely come back.

I switched to this hotel at the last moment because I wasn't satisfied with the my previous booking and I was very pleased I did. The Polish lady (I forgot her name) who served as receptionist and cook for breakfast was very helpful in suggesting places dinner and telling us that the next day, being German Reunification Day, the town would have a car-free day with many street stalls. We enjoyed our stay there!

Nothing really

Beautiful room on the top floor. Nice breakfast. Calm stay. And the restaurant fits in very nicely and offers delicious dishes.

It was to hot in the whole hotel (approx. 24-25 degrees).

Everything else was great!

When breakfast is not on a buffet, it is not well organized. Keeping in mind that for business trips, people are leaving before 8 o'clock in the morning and the breakfast starts at 7, needs to be ordered and prepared... May be order the previous night service would be nice option for those cases.
