The breakfast was outstanding! I'd recommend getting a bed & breakfast package - eating there each morning was a treat! Our room was fab - but we splurged for a junior suite with garden view. Not sure how other rooms are. But we loved our room - very spacious and felt luxurious. Location was terrific and very walkable!

It was expensive! Obviously I knew that since I booked it and we upgraded our room (didn't get a standard room) but it was definitely the higher end (for us). Parking is available but note: it's limited and can be full so you need to find alternative parking. There are close-by options but there is not a valet and you may need to pay if parking off site.

First off this is not a B&B. Whilst they have packages including breakfast this is a high quality hotel. The decor is in a class of its own, large size bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Top of the range breakfast. They have a bar attended by the very helpful Francis. The service is fantastic from the gentleman who helps with your bags and parking to the ladies with breakfast. The location can not be beaten.

Their parking is on street in spaces owned or leased by the hotel. I’m not a fan of on street parking especially when you have a rental car but it helps that there is a fellow to help you park by stopping traffic. Parking is very limited in Kinsale so even having parking is a plus. Would just prefer that they and other providers stipulated their parking is on street.

Beautiful property inside and out. The entire place is decorated in a thoughtful way. Our room was gorgeous and had an amazing view of the water. Bed was comfy and the location is perfect - within walking distance of anything you want.

The only issue we had was the lack of air conditioning. We like to sleep in a cold room and if you open the windows (which we did), you will hear street noise. We were at the front of the property so it may be quieter in other rooms, but it still got a little stuffy in the room at night.

The property is very impressive and pleasantly surprising in its attention to detail and amenities. The level of service - particularly from the breakfast staff was best we have experienced.

The arrangement where you need to give your room key back to the mgrs each time you leave the room was annoying - I understand the need for security - however Kinsales is ideal for exploring or taking advantage of restaurants and music- so returning from these activities during the day or evening and having to retrieve your room key was - less than ideal

We enjoyed a great stay at Perryville house. The breakfast was delightful! Beautiful table settings with white tablecloths, pretty teapots and cups and views of the garden. We loved the scones and the hot breakfast was perfect with lots of choices. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with a beautiful, crisp, white duvet and soft pillows. We had a lovely view of Kinsale harbor from our oversized windows. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They work hard to take care of their guests every need and we appreciated all their attention to detail.

The Perryville house far exceeded our expectations. It is an older building but exceptionally well maintained. The location is in the hub of Kinsale, within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The Scilly walk starts right across the street of this hotel. Private parking is available for the guests. Those who were unable to find spots still had the option of parking in the lot beyond. Breakfast was spectacular. We had the opportunity to try the traditional Irish breakfast. The scones, the brown bread and the jams were made in-house. Highly recommend! The brightest spot in this hotel is the staff. 5-star service from everyone we met. Everyone took the time to ensure we had everything we need or want. Francis checked the weather to see how the day was going to be for golf. After staying at the Perryville house, other hotels paled in comparison at the services provided. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the people who make up the Perryville house staff.

There was nothing that we can complain about.

Amazing location. The service was next level. The staff were so attentive and helpful whether it was booking dinner reservations or suggestions of things to see/do or which bus to take to get to our next destination. It was by far the nicest, most luxury place we stayed in Ireland and it was such a treat! From the beautifully appointed guest rooms to the gorgeous sitting rooms and the lovely bar area where we had such a nice cuppa with some cake after a long day of walking and exploring. It is all done so beautifully. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. It had the nicest options and were the best breakfasts we ate in Ireland by a mile. Not sure what their parking is like if you have a car as we came on the bus but it's essentially across the street from the bus stop and very close to the adorable downtown and a nice walk to the Fort.

The breakfast was awesome! Everything was locally sourced or home grown. The food was outstanding. Plenty of choice. Service warm and helpful. You could smell the fruit scones being baked on the way downstairs to breakfast. They make their own honey. Best breakfast ever! Great location for walking to restaurants and bars in the evening.

It would have been helpful to have some body lotion in the bathroom.

The food was phenomenal. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Helen, our waitress at breakfast, was amazing. The hotel was clean and well-managed. It's in an amazing location with a view of the water.

If anything bad could be said, it would be that the elevator/lift was not working during our stay, and we were on one of the top floors. This meant a lot of stairs. That could be a drawback for someone with mobility issues.

The building and rooms were stylish, large and very olde world, yet they were modern enough to ensure you had all you need. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to assist. Our room, on the top floor was divine, overlooking the Green, and the little 1%ers, of fully stocked free drinks, cookies, chocolates and incl. Breakfast and a welcome drink, all added to a wonderful package.
