The rooms were marvellous, well presented and had everything you needed including complementary items. Great positioning outside of the city. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant, the menu was comprehensive and the food gave a wide choice. The service, wine choices and the whole experience was to a high standard, retiring to the bar and lounge area for evening drinks.

I cannot say there was anything we did not like about the hotel. It is a wedding venue and venue for parties and other celebrations, so it could be quite noisy at time, however, we did not find this on our stay

The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The area around the hotel is gorgeous and the building itself is really beatiful as well. The location is great, but expect a fairy pricey taxi ride to the city still (despite it being 15 mins away).

It was odd and slightly uncomfortable to only get a single key card for the rooms. The WiFi was really bad and network coverage on the hotel grounds was poor as well. Although there was a nice large smart TV in the room, it was not possible to have it connected to the internet and to use Netflix etc. (even though the app was on there). The bath is slippery and there's only a fixed showerhead up top, no handheld option.

Great sized room, lovely location within woodland walks on your doorstep. Ample parking.

Overpriced prices for small basic meals, staff in the restaurant, were unattentive. We'd booked a table, but it wasn't ready for our time slot we were told to wait in the bar and they would come to get us when the table was ready. 20 minutes later, no one had come. We then had to wait ages to be served, in fact we had to ask a staff member to come and take our order, the food took nearly 30 min to arrive, I only ordered a salad! I wouldn't recommend anyone to dine here, a very disappointing experience.

Double rooms were very spacious, very well decorated and the bathrooms were very nice. I travelled with my elderly mother and the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The food was very good and the Guinness was exceptional. It was quiet on a night and the beds were clean, comfy and the linen was lovely. The location to Cork and the main highways is very convenient. The choice for breakfast is very good, it's freshly cooked and was delicious!! Can't wait to return!

The smart tv's are not the best in terms of standard channels but I logged into my Netflix on the TV so it wasn't an issue.

The hotel is a lovely, spacious building with beautiful decor. The bedroom was large, had an amazingly comfy bed & a roomy, powerful shower. The receptionist was very helpful.

The TV had limited channels - only bbc 1, bbc 2 & some news channels. Also, we enjoy a lie-in when on holiday so were disappointed to hear the cleaners talking & working on our corridor from before 08:30 to 09:30, both mornings. I think their store room was right next to our room.

The place looked very cosy and the colours were nice on the eyes. The room was quite big and very clean. All the staff especially in the restaurant were so welcoming, particularly Ruwan and the Hungarian guy (sorry did not catch his name) 🙂 The glass room was a very nice are to go for coffee and relax, also the garden where we even saw 2 bunnies outdoor and the kids loved it!

Wifi was quite unstable and it was hard to get a connection, but if we really didn't mind it at all as we wanted to disconnect from social media anyway. 🙂

I loved the serenity of the setting I loved the fact that gluten free options were plentiful at breakfast time Overall relaxed and ejoyed my stay immensley

The room was a bit cold I booked through booking.com And payed 2 weeks in advance via phone by card and no mention off 100 euro room deposit And when i got there i was asked for it which i had no clue of it in the first place and was not prepared for such a big payment without notice...

I came late to check in as I was in a even for Irish cancer Association,I was recked but it was a wedding at the Hotel and everyone was busy.The bed was out of 10 and breakfast and attention from the manager and receptionist in the morning outstanding, one of thr best Spinach and Cheese omelette in the region, prepared with passion, I will back again,Thank you.

I parked far away from entrance and couldn't see the steps to short cut, so I have to walk all the way down the road with trolley.Room was perfect , but as a suggestion i will provide the soup for women in the executives rooms, the soap was a male odour.

The rooms were tastefully decorated, the hotel had a nice warm feel not too big. Housekeeping staff very helpful with directions and parking recommendations in city. I received a telephone call before departing, to clarify any special requirements for my visit, this was very reassuring as I had booked on line,spoke to a very friendly and efficient and helpful member if staff ( johanna??) My special request was accommodated. The personal contact before my visit was nice.

Suggestion anther hand rail on the access to dining room for guests with mobility issues.

The hotel is very large and very well equipped. The spaces are large and cosy, both private and communal for guests. The breakfast and dinner room is very nice. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful and it was very pleasant to have breakfast with Schubert's music playing in the background. The rooms are large and very clean, the bathroom too. The staff is sometimes very friendly, sometimes less so. When we arrived the receptionist was rather rude, bordering on unfriendly. We asked about dinner and she did not tell us that we needed to make a reservation, so when we went down to dinner there was no room and we had to wait. Fortunately the restaurant manager found us a table and was very helpful. There is plenty of space to park and also to charge electric vehicles.

There should be more signposting: the hotel is very large and sometimes it is difficult to find your room. Some members of the staff should be more polite and helpful.
