This hotel is a great choice when staying in Dahlonega which does not have many medium-priced options. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the room appliances work well. There is a nice view out of the back windows but growing trees obscure the view of the mountains in the distance.

Local taxes add about $15 to your room price and the 3 medium priced motels, Dahlonega Mountain Inn, Quality Inn and Wyndham Dahlonega all keep their prices in the the $70-75 range which is a bit high. A stay at this hotel or the other two will be about $100 per night which is not worth the price.

Rooms needs some basic upgrades

The young man that checked us in was OUTSTANDING! I was nervous of how to find the national championship game on their tv and he even offered to come put in on our tv for us. Every time he saw us around he smiled and spoke. Breakfast was okay. Thr first day the coffee was cold, but we just warmed it in their microwave. After that, it was always hot.

Nothing

Shower water valve was upside down causing hot water to be on wrong side when turned on . Sheets appeared to be soiled when we entered the room. Floor was not clean. Some of room lights didn't work others had no light bulb in them. Door entree key would not open door. Had to be reprogrammed. Desk person told me I didn't do it right. Traveled many years new how to open doors. Insulting remark from desk clerk. Sheets we asked for appeared to be wore out. Would not recommend the facility to anyone.

It was in a great location. Just about five minutes from downtown where all the shops were. The Crisson Good Mine was about 5 minutes, too! Very convenient. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, going the extra mile to make sure our stay was nothing short of enjoyable.

There could be a bit more attention to some details. Such as behind the toilet paper holder. It looked like it could use a good cleaning.

Price was very reasonable! Room was very clean and comfortable! Staff was so nice. We even met the owner and her oldest son....super sweet and they really care! We will definitely be back. Can't wait!!

Needs to be seriously updated, very old and musky smelling. Bath tub was clean but didn't look like it due to age. Hotel doesn't look like it's ever had any upgrades, even the bedding.

Considering prices for motels in the area-this place was affordable-nice and clean-staff was great. Had trouble with the TV-staff responded immediately! GREAT VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS!!

The hotel and staff were very accommodating. It is on a busy road but very close to everywhere we wanted to go.

The clerk was so happy to see us at check-in. We enjoyed our room and the breakfast. The trees across the back of the property are thick and provided a nice screen.
