The room was ok. We had AC and a fridge, everything was quite old but me and my partner we stayed for 7 nights and we enjoyed it. The swimming pool was nice and cleaned and the resort is very quiet. They also offer Thai rice soup which is delicious and gave us water and coffee every day. The staff are very friendly and they recommended us restaurants and places to go.

The toilet and the shower were together and when you shower everything gets wet. Also, they never cleaned our room in the 7 nights we stayed. And if you don’t take the rubbish out, the room starts to smell so, it’s basically your job to take the rubbish outside.

Good location, approx 10 min walk to beach,pool was good , pool deck surface was horrible bare feet not a good idea, diver certification going on every day we were there, room was good, they always skip coffee and water the day before check out ( everywhere in Thailand) Rooms and resort are as usual in need of an update , typical for Thailand which is still struggling to get its footing after COVID but everyone is trying Money doesn’t grow on Trees so cut them some slack!! All in all very good for price!

Pool deck surface

I loved the food. I loved the pool. Lady owner was very nice and did all the cooking. She helped me get scooter delivered to lobby in 10 minutes. Room service was available every day if required. Water and coffee in room everyday. Good Internet. Location very central to island. I will stay here if and when I return.

There was a downpour on one night and the room slightly flooded. No massive problem but I slipped and fell. No damage done though. I couldn't see where water got in but it was at foot of bed

The price, the pool, the beach is close once you know how to get there.

I regret not going for air conditioning in the room. Staff did try to help with directions but sometimes were not very clear. There was a black patch on the wall that looked like mould close to the bed. Also, housekeeping would prop the pillows against the wall as if to hide it.

We stayed 5 days in September (low season). Initially we only booked two nights but kept extending. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool is a nice big size with good clean water quality. Is lovely to hang out around the pool looking at palm trees and listening to birds. Rooms are nice, shower works fine. We had a scooter so location was perfect to explore the island. 7/11, German bakery, supermarket, restaurants within walking distance of Sofia Gardens.

Rooms could do with touch up of TLC. But still excellent value for money as is.

For the price this hotel was excellent inthe middle of town right near night market and a walk to wat phai lom temple

Everything was fine for us only 2 floors but no lift. This was OK for us but if you are not mobile might be a problem

Ithere is private apartment for every visitors, a lot of spaces, nice and quiet place, they have swiming pool and sauna what is very enjoyable. Staff is very helpful. You can rent a scooter at reception what's ifs very nice. Highly recommend to stay here.

This resort is great stay for anyone. Good sized pool where you can swim, real finnish Sauna (highly recommanded) and cozy atmosphere in general. Staff is super nice and helpful, rooms were cleaned well daily. Location ia good and kind of middle of best parts of the island, and theres massage, coffeeshops, laundry servives and restaurants all really nearby.

Sofia garden resort is a quiet place to take a break and recharge the batteries. Well located to all things necessary. Koh Chang is in my view a very special place. I initially booked for two days and was so pleased booked for an additional 3 nights. Family calls now and I must away Saturday morning. Thankyou to SGR
