This has got to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The room we had offered the most breathtaking views from the balcony. The room it self was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The shower was simple to use and a very good size. Parking at front of hotel was limited but we felt perfectly safe with our car parked along the side hedge. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of very fresh produce. The location, although up a slight steep hill was ideal with a nice British pub/ restaurant 150metres away. Then the lakeside walk at the bottom of the hill 200metres. Only wish we could have stopped longer

Beautifully situated hotel close to Hopfensee, a spacious room with a balcony and a comfortable bed, some necessities to make a quick meal are also in the room together with a fridge. A lot of information on the area, landmarks, restaurants, etc. We were lucky to even see Neuschwanstein castle from our balcony, especially nice at night. A parking spot right at the hotel is also appreciated. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

We stayed there for our honey moon, and they were so kind to make a special room decoration just to receive us. The room has a magical view of the Hofsee with it makes you feel in paradise. The staff was kind and they serve a completed bavarian breakfast with white sausages and bretzel. The hotel also counts with a lift, with increase the comfort for us to carry our bagages.

What I didn't like was that in my reservation no breakfast was included, and I have to pay them latter thinking that it was already included.

We absolutely loved this place outside of Fussen, it was one of our favourite places we stayed at because it was just so peaceful and away from the holiday hustle and bustle. We had a rental car, parking was plentiful, the nearby lake is so beautiful and the mountains in the distance were great. We would have loved to stay even longer as it really gave us some wind down time and to take in the surrounds.

Fantastic location near the lake with mountains. From our balcony we had this view. The room was very very clean, the bad was comfortable. There were a small fridge in the room. With parking no problem. Breakfast was great, also we appreciated the attitude of personal who helped us a lot with our baby. Good restaurant with panoramic view also is less than 5 min walk.

It was so clean and comfortable with lots of extra finishing touches you’d only expect in a far more expensive hotel. Thankfully they now have a kettle, cups, plates and cutlery in the room. Past reviews have noted the lack of a kettle. We had a wonderful sleep. The view out to the lake was very pretty with distant snow covered peaks

Absolutely nothing!!

Nice little hotel, conveniently located and well equipped. There's even a small playground for the kids! They have sent us an email warning and apologising that they only have rooms on the ground floor left, but that turned out to be just perfect: quiet, with a nice garden view and a large balcony. The reception is only staffed until 1pm so that did not give us plenty of chances to speak with the staff, but whenever we did, they were nice and helpful.

That's a rural area which has its ups and downs. Mostly it's great, but when an owner of the field nearby chooses to go around their field with a natural fertiliser... well, the smell can be less than perfect for a moment. But again, when you pick a hotel in an area like this, you need to know what you're doing.

Very convenient check-in even we arrived late. Easily entered the hotel then got the room key by following the instructions received. We had good sleep thanks to comfortable bed and proper temperature in the room. (no fan or air condition needed). Great views to the lake and mountain from window / balcony. The lakeside and restaurants are in pleasant walking distance.

Mosquito-proof net would be plus.

we spent the night here on a stop-over on the way down to the Dolomites. Beautiful surroundings, perfect location and we will be coming back to spend more time around this beautiful lake Friendly staff and great breakfast (although not included in the price we paid - was an extra 14 euros each but worth it). We arrived after 4 (check in closed) but very easy check in.

Self check in from an amazingly early 1pm was easy, following the clear instructions we were sent. Room 2A was absolutely gorgeous and a brilliant size for all our motorbike gear. There was a little entrance hall with shoe & clothes racks; a separate toilet off the hall; a large lounge with TV, sofa, dining table & chairs and access onto the decked enclosed terraced balcony; and a large bedroom with another TV, kettle, plates, mugs and cutlery plus an ensuite shower room. No aircon but despite being very hot during the day it cooled down nicely at night. We didn't stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Parking was flat and easy for the bikes. The restaurant across the little side road was very good, with amazing views.
