Very favorable price-quality ratio. Room (11), bathroom, bedding, towels very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff (reception and cleaning service) able to deal with difficult situations, although not always speaking perfect English - which, however, did not hinder communication. Access to kitchen and utensils during the day (good to ask about kitchen and utensils when you check in). Good location due to the proximity of public transport (about 20 minutes to Alexander Platz and Museum Island). Quiet and peaceful neighborhood, restaurants, cafes, fast food right next to the hotel, shops (Netto, Aldi, Lidl) within walking distance. We didn't eat breakfast - however, it looked decent - eggs, cheese, cold cuts, bread, etc., so if someone eats breakfast, this is a convenient option. The most important thing for us was the possibility of using the parking lot in the inner courtyard. The reception is open at certain hours (it is worth asking about the hours on a given day), but contact by phone if necessary was no problem.

the floor coverings in the room, on the stairs and in the corridors need replacement

We booked Hotel Albertin for a quick city break with our two teenage boys, it was exactly what we wanted. A good base to explore Berlin from. We had two bedrooms, clean bathroom with a good shower and were only a short distance from the M4 tram into the city which took 10 mins.

Location near Lake Waisensee could not be better. Lake Waisensee is the perfect "escape to the forest" feeling while being in Berlin. I walked around it three times.

Hot water in shower could have been happily less difficult.

the staff were very helpful, especially Marina. She staid a bit late for us, since we were arriving at 8pm with a small baby. the hotel is located in a calm district. the rooms were clean. We stayed at the apartment- it had all the necessary things.
