Location is perfect, right in the city center, very close to the main square. Parking is available quite near the hotel. The hotel is very nice and modern, always kept clean. the staff is very kind and make you feel at home. Breakfast is very well assorted and they offer you nice coffee and juices. We have been going to the same hotel for years every time we return to trieste for family visits.

Water was only free for the first day Spa was £15 per hour even for guests! Breakfast stools were not comfortable Hot food at breakfast was very limited.

I had a scary situation before comming to the hotel. I had it booked two weeks ago and confirmed. Somebody from the hotel called me on mobile and said they will not have a room for me and rhat i should cancel it. I didn’t agree and told them if you want do the cancellation yourself through booking. And nothing happened my room was ok. I think because it was booked free cancellation and it was busy in Trieste because of the Robbie Williams concert and fhey wanted to satisfy some other client. Anyway everything was ok at the end but it was stressful experience and hope they do not do it to someone else

Room was clean and well appointed. Decor was modern and lovely. Staff were extremely friendly and keen to assist with any request- they made us feel very welcomed. We had and early departure and were too early for breakfast, so staff made us a takeaway packed breakfast that was ready for us at 5.30am when we had to leave. Hotel is also walking distance to port and train/bus station. Also easy walk to all the major tourist attractions. It was a fabulous hotel - would highly recommend.

Nothing, it was fantastic.

The hotel was situated close to the centre of Trieste and with a 20 minute walk to the railway/bus station. The rooms were quirky but stylish and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and any cooked items were hot. The staff were very friendly especially Alicia at reception. Alicia was great for local knowledge and also helped to make a special occasion even more memorable.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Location was wonderful, 2 mins from the port. A beautiful old building, completely stylishly redesigned for every modern comfort. We could not fault the place - the breakfast buffet was basic but varied and of good quality. The staff members -m all of them - from the Reception to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff were friendly and pleasant. A real gem.

Everything!!! Amazing, charming and cozy little hotel in the heart of Triest! The room was so nice and clean and the bed super comfortable!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was ample and varied. We went on a lot of tours, and this hotel was a relatively short walk to the pickup point. There were dozens of restaurants within a few blocks.

The hotel had been completely renovated a few years earlier and it now has all of the modern amenities, which is not a bad thing, but some of them simply didn’t work. Specifically the safe and the coffee maker.

Very nice small hotel in a great location, right next to the port and canal. The room was clean spacious (larger than what I expected from the photo), with a large comfortable bed and an elegant bathroom with shower and bidet. It was very hot during my stay but the AC was powerful and kept the room cool for a pleasant evening’s sleep. Although the location is very central and the street quite busy during the day, it was much quieter in the evening and the windows were soundproof, so all good. The breakfast is served on the ground floor, next to the lobby, it’s a nice bright space with modern design furniture and preserved elements from the old building, such as the stone arches, which I appreciated, being an architect myself. Food selection was good, especially for the sweet things, but they can also make eggs to your preference et cetera. The ladies who worked in the breakfast room were very nice and attentive. Both receptionists were courteous and helpful too, providing restaurant suggestions and printing out some documents for me. Upon departure, they gifted me some pasta made by the family company that also owns the hotel (Borin), which was a lovely gesture.

Not something I disliked per se, only a suggestion for a portable ironing provision such as a steamer. It would be great and really convenient to have the option to borrow such a device from the reception rather than have the house keeping staff iron something for guests upon request. A personal preference, though, as I understand that many people will probably not need this service
