We really enjoyed our stay — it was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff were fantastic: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel truly looked after and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The room was beautiful — comfortable, well-appointed, and spotless — and the setting of the hotel was absolutely stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing break. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Breakfast was the best we have experienced while traveling.

Would have loved if there had been more choice in restaurants, I believe only on option for such a large hotel, would be great if they added another bar or restaurant. But the food overall was very good.

This is a beautiful resort. We are more used to an old Italian vibe so at first we had mixed feelings as the place is rather modern, but as our stay went on we really appreciated Minareto. There is a small sandy beach, a cliff with breathtaking views and a big (25 metres long) pool. It is absolutely not crowded (we were at the end of June) and you can fully relax. All the materials used are high quality, natural wooden and leather furniture, stone floors etc. There are no standard bars next to the beaches, you order everything via WhatsApp. Again, seemed strange at first but it turned out very convenient. The restaurant is outstanding, totalny aspiring for Michelin Star. There is a professional somelier (Saki, if I remember right) who deserves a special appraisal. In general it is a wonderwul place for enjoying sun, views and fancy food. The all day menu is less posh, you can get a big sandwich with chips if you wish. It is 15 minutes drive from Siracusa. You can take a taxi boat to the old town (Ortigia). There are rather no restaurant or shops in a walking distance.

You have to pay extra for almost all small facilities, such as taxi boat to Ortigia, a kayak, water in the mini bar. I would prefer to pay more for the room but no to be bombarded with Additionally costs all the time. Nonetheless, I’m still giving a 10.

This resort is a class act. The landscaping was exceptional. Breakfast was very good with the option to sit outside. We enjoyed the private beach with lifeguard on duty. It’s sandy and wonderful ! They upgraded us to the most extraordinary villas with impeccable quality throughout and our own lap pools! It was a slice of heaven for 4 nights and we could park our car right outside the gate. Thank you very much, Luca! We hope to come back again ! <3

The resort exceeded all our expectations. We got an upgrade as it was our honeymoon! Here are a few highlights: The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. The service was always super helpful, warm and attentive! The beaches are stunning (especially the rocky beach) with clear waters and plenty of space to relax. It was never overcrowded. Breakfast was super fresh, full of variety and beautifully presented. You have the buffet and made-to-order dishes.

There are additional cost if you want to go visit the island ortigia by boat. Also, while the food was delicious, it’s rather expensive for sicily. Still if you want to splurge a little, it is the perfect stay!

The property is immaculate with beautiful cactus and olive tree gardens. The view is fabulous. From one side there is rocky beach with a view of Ortigia and on the other side there is a lovely sandy beach overlooking a cove. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The staff was helpful and accommodating. It is about a 20 minute easy drive to Ortigia which we did a couple of times. Local attractions were easy to get to.

Minareto staff and management ensured my sister and I had an incredible stay. Everything was incredibly beautiful from the rooms to the views to the gold beach. We were originally booked for 3 rooms, but our parents could not join at the last minute, and Minareto staff upgraded our non-refundable rooms when they did not have to. We celebrated a birthday and they sent a bottle of champagne and the restaurant sang a song with a cake. It was all exceptional and we appreciated every minute.

The restaurant had some great dishes and some less great dishes. Some refinement would be helpful. The lunch menu might be expanded for variety.

Amazing location, getting water taxi into Ortigia, great places to swim/sit in sun/read book, helpful staff, great views from rooms

Food at the restaurant was average - too expensive for small portions. A private event was also held the weekend we were there, and we were not told until half an hour before the event that the viewing terrace/restaurant/cliff side swimming area would be closed for it - would have appreciated being informed in advance so we could make plans around it

The two beaches The wonderful site with the amazing view on ortiggia The boat to go to Ortiggia The staff was really nice and professional The what’s app system to order food and drinks is super proficient … Our room was spacious and comfortable

The food menu was limited and super expensive We would have expected to eat Sicilian food… The water was charged and expansive (6€ a bottle) whereas we could not drink tap water and had nowhere to buy water around the hotel. Water should have been complimentary…

The hotel was generous to upgrade us to an extremely comfortable suite. We very much enjoyed the decor and space of the room, the choice of 3 different swimming areas and the excellent breakfasts overlooking the sea. The whole environment has been beautifully planted with olive trees and exotic cactus plants. It was a relaxing and indulgent break. Greatly appreciated.

Rather bland architectural features of main building and restaurant. Very expensive restaurant and - apart from the wonderful (but pricey) sea taxi - a tad remote from the action and sights of Ortigia. Certainly not as eco as it might like to think of itself.

Location, stunning view, all sunbathing locations are nice, as well as the sandy one in a bay as the rocks with a view. Swimming pool and a sitting area on top of the sea as if you’re on a cruise ship. Room/beach and all around service of food and drinks is quick and handy, the quality very good.

The interior decoration is a bit old fashioned, upholstery is not the ideal decor for the seaside. A bit disappointing for a *****star luxury that there is not a complimentary water supply in the rooms
