We really enjoyed our stay. Valeria was such a delight and incredibly helpful prior to arriving - assisting with parking and had lots of recommendations. The accommodations were very comfortable and well appointed. The downside is that we had a room with a balcony but didn't use it as it was so small it could barely fit the table there and it was directly across the narrow street from another house with a balcony and french doors. It did have a screen so we could open louvered glass paned doors for fresh air. Breakfast was very good, with lots of delicious baked goods, made even better by dining on the breakfast room terrace, where you could just see the roof tops of the adjoining buildings, not panoramic but very pleasant. Location was very convenient.

The rooms were spacious, bright, and clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The amenities in the room such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion were good quality, the robe and slippers were comfortable, and the room had a nice coffee machine. A mini bar was available for convenience. The location was quite good as there were many options nearby. The breakfast in the morning was great - all the delicious Sicilian pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, nuts, etc. made for yummy breakfast. The coffee was really good, too. But the star of the show was Valeria who made us so comfortable and provided so many tips to make our vacation easy and memorable. She arranged rides, booked dinner reservations, got us an awesome boat tour, etc. We felt like we made a great friend on vacation. We will definitely want to return again and spend Mooe mem

Fabulous stay right in the heart of Ortigia. The location was perfect for exploring the island with everything in walking distance. Our room was comfortable with ample storage space and a cute little balcony. The bed was actually the most comfortable of our whole trip in Italy! Our hostess Valeria was an absolute ray of sunshine, incredibly helpful and welcoming and a great personality. We followed her dinner recommendation and were very happy with it. I was so glad we chose to stay here.

The absolute best here was Valeria. She was personable and always helpful. The location is super and very quiet. The breakfast room had a beautiful outdoor deck with snacks and cool drinks all day. Breakfast was among the best we had in our month long trip in Sicily. The pastries were incomparable. The room itself had everything and was actually better equipped than most rooms. Valeria connected with us before we arrived and organized our ZTL permit. We parked a block and a 1/2 away in a locked guarded lot that was super.

I absolutely love this place. The location was perfect the hostess was amazing. Lovely breakfast every morning. Accommodations were great! Rooftop deck with an awning with a great addition. There are quite a few stairs so it is not a great choice for people with mobility issues but we absolutely loved it!

The manager, Valeria, goes above and beyond to see to the comfort of guests—a delightful person, helpful and personable. To claim the place is luxury accommodation is a significant overreach. Vento provides very clean, quiet modest accommodation.

Great location for exploring Ortigia by foot. The room was well decorated and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Special mention to Valeria. Breakfast was great and served on the roof terrace each morning.

The only windows in the room were small skylights, so we took advantage of the roof terrace when we could. Mediocre pressure to the rain head shower. As expected and due to the location, parking is in a public car park a few minutes walk away at €15 for 24 hours.

Perfectly located for exploring Ortigia; sparkling clean; tastefully decorated; charming super helpful staff, quiet. Our host carried our bags all the way to the car park! We appreciated breakfast on the pretty rooftop before day of exploring.

Not their fault - the stairs were a challenge for a person with knee issues.

Valeria the host was so accommodating. Breakfast each am was tasty amd satisfying. She helped us plan our da each day and we loved our cute little apartment.

One small item I would love is a place to put soap amd shampoo in shower. With my new hip my mobility was not great but I did advise that small little detail was the one & only thing I would change. The B & B was quiet and so quaint. Bed was very comfortable as well.

Our stay in this superb BnB was faultless from beginning to end. Professional staff, Laura, Concetta, and owner Guiseppe made us feel so welcome from day one. Because they lived locally they were able to provide information on events, timetables, opening times etc that guided our daily excursions. We were treated more like friends than guests with a warmth and sincerity you rarely find. This is a gem of a place located just off the main hub of Ortigia but within five minutes walk of warm seas, outstanding cuisine, and history in abundance. The staff here personify all that is wonderful about Sicily and in particular Syracuse. The BnB itself is a recent modern and smart renovation of an old building. It's extremely comfortable and a real cool oasis away from the heat of the fierce Ortigia sun. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
