Fantastic location, in the old town but quiet in what seemed a residential area. Sea view from the roof terrace and balcony's from the main rooms. The roof was fantastic with a sitting area and sun loungers, although only one umbrella so not great for a couple in the June Sunshine. Very near the market to get food, although we didn't cook, so couldn't comment on how well equipped the kitchen was.

facilities - Coffee machine only took pods that having been to every supermarket we discovered can only be purchased direct from the manufacturers agents. As there were only 4 pods left between us for our stay and no cafetiere or stove top machine we had to ration our cups of coffee. And as there was only one mug, tea was not an option either. The stairs both to the apartment and the roof were steep, this was not a problem for me, but my friend found them rather scary having previously broken an ankle, just to be aware of when booking.

Amazing location and a very cozy room to stay. Right in the heart of Ortigia island the room provide all the necessary for an amazing experience in Ortigia and Syracuse. Staying in the specific room you can really get a real taste of Ortigia!!!! Apart from that an extra comment should be dedicated to the amazing host! Initially he provided all the needed information and guidance for parking in the island of Ortigia. Upon our departure we forget kids neckless and the host not only found them but send them back to our home address.

Huge terrace with a sea view was truly magnificent! Apartment was really quiet. We bought vegetables etc at the nearby market place and cooked in the apartment. The host gave us good tips for swimming places in Ortigia.

In Ortigia the oldest and nicest part of Syracuse. Very spacious accommodation with a large and very pleasant terrace. with a Seaview. Good facilities for preparation of simple meals. Shops and the outdoor market all nearby. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Good place to stay.

The location was fab, very handy for getting around Ortegia. The room was a great size and very clean. The shower was larger than most I’ve seen during my visit to Sicily. The neighbour across the way was very helpful when another set of guests were finding it difficult to locate their rooms. All in all a great place and great value for money.

It would be useful if there had been a note left to explain which bins are for what type of rubbish. Maybe there was one that I didn’t notice. Very minor, place fab overall.

Modern furnished, big appartement, with large rear-facing terrace and a smaller one facing the street. Very thoughful little touches such as a small welcome gift, coffee tabs sufficient shampoo, bodyshower and conditioner, rund off the very positive overall picture. The flat is located right next the Bellaro market.

The roof terrace is amazing, beatiful view, and the location is great for walking in Ortigia island. The kitchen is small but well-equipped, and the street itself has a great ambience. The market and many good restaurants are in a walking distance.

Parking was a nightmare in the area, the Talete parking house was often full. Be prepared for the smell from the fish and fruit market on the corner :)

Excellent central location, just around the corner from the market. A super super helpful host in Sharon. Clean, comfortable and well equipped.

I’d go for the roof terrace if available just to have the view but this was perfect for what it was.

Beautiful and clean accommodation in the heart of Ortigia, tucked away in a very picturesque little alley. The owner was extremely kind and always willing to help with useful tips about the area.
