As budget motels go, this one was quite nice. My room was clean and quiet, the bed was quite comfortable, and the A/C worked well and wasn't as noisy as most. In other words, I had no complaints (after check-in, see below), which might not seem like much but actually is. The coffee was fine, for motel coffee that is. The breakfast was typical, which is to say sparse, but at least there were bananas.

My check-in was rough, to say the least. I arrived somewhat after the 3 pm check-in opening, but learned that I had a second floor room and there were no elevators -- not great for someone with bad knees. The motel was obviously nearly empty and I asked for a first floor room. The reception fellow seemed completely at a loss, and it took over half an hour to find me a room which (it turned out) had been free all along. Then I found that there was no microwave in the room, which would have been a major issue -- the receptionist told me that only some rooms had them because of theft --?! But then he carried one to my room. Problem solved.

The whole stay was relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and the pool was fun as well. The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely a budget friendly hotel/inn. Would stay again for sure.

The bathroom was a bit small. The showerhead kind of fell apart but was still usable. The shower curtain looked like it could have been a bit cleaner. There was a taped-up section in the bottom of the door to the bathroom.

We stayed here primarily because of location - we were about a five minute drive from family. This hotel is showing its age, but in all the ways that count it was a good choice for us. It was clean and comfortable, although basic. We needed a first floor room with easy accessibility, but had one of us been a wheel-chair user, I think the bed would have been unusable because of the height. As it was, however, it was fine: on the first floor, and a few steps from handicap parking. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Room size, it was clean, great location for UNCA and for downtown.

Pillows need to be bigger and need more of them. The Breakfast was disappointing. Needs bacon or ham and eggs with grits or potatoes. . . more variety. Also need elevator!

The location was perfect. I was maybe 8 minutes away from downtown. Asheville right next to the highway. My room was downstairs directly in front of the handicap parking. I advised that I was a day sleeper, and I was never disturbed in the daytime.It was amazing.

The room was very clean! I was impressed and I liked the makeup wipes included in the toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Because its the hotel style where the door opens to the parking lot I could hear people easily in the morning leaving but at night it was quiet and I slept well (I'm a light sleeper so that says a lot) I would definitely stay here again. It's in a good area for commuting between different areas of town. The staff was very nice and accommodating of a special request.

Just a little noise from the neighboring rooms but it wasn't that bad.

Staff was very kind and accommodating. Very clean and great location. Couldn't beat the price. I could not do stairs and they got me a room on the 1st floor which was fantastic. I would stay again and recommend this place.

That there was not an elevator, bc I cant do stairs and just wish the breakfast was not too early or lasted later.

The staff has always been kind to us when we stay. We come to visit family every month and each month we always pick this location. It's perfect location if you just want quiet but close enough to Asheville if you want entertainment. We will definitely stay again.

Better breakfast selection but everyone is more cautious due to covid so it's understandable. The rooms are always clean but definitely could use some TLC in some of the rooms we had multiple rooms on this say.

For what it was, I was pleasantly surprised with the updated rooms of this Days Inn. We booked last minute, and had to pay more for the room than we wanted to considering the type of establishment, but it served our purpose and we were happy with our experience.

The bathroom amenities and towels could use some upgrading... but since it's a lower end hotel I doubt that will happen.

It was clean, the bed was comfortable,I was able to rest like I needed.

The air conditioner was unplugged and I couldn't find the plug in till after I went to the office and the Clark showed me where it should be.
