I loved that the shuttle came to get me at nearly 4am with a kind and courteous driver. I was greeted again at the reception with kindness. Finally at my room the television screen made me feel so welcomed even though I was so tired after a 4 hour delay due to storms in DFW. The best thing was that breakfast went to 10am and checkout was a gracious and calm noon which allowed me to simply sleep in the welcoming bed and eat and check out calmly the next day! Thank you!!!

The pool was suddenly closed on the morning of my departure and I had hoped for a swim to relax and stretch after a long evening of flying. Otherwise everything and everyone was awesome.

I stay here roughly 5 times a year, because it’s so close to the airport, and our flights always leave first thing in the morning, and come back around midnight. And then once a year for a family get together in Albany. It’s always clean, somebody’s always at the front desk, and they have hot coffee 24/7!

We always depend on leaving our vehicle at the hotel while we’re on vacation, and catching the shuttle to the airport. It’s a million times easier this way, since our flight always leaves at 6am, and comes back to Albany at midnight. This last time, they told us they didn’t have room for our vehicle, and really added a lot of unnecessary stress to our vacation. Also, the last few times I’ve stayed, they didn’t have the French vanilla creamer that I like, nor did they have any flavored creamer. I’m a big coffee drinker, so it’s almost a make or break for me!

There was a worker that kept following us around and picking up after us even when we weren’t done. For example we took out some games to play and set them on a table and then played with the foozeball table. He immediately went over and put the games back. When we got food delivered and were trying to eat he kept coming over and taking our empty bags and pizza boxes before we had a chance to reuse them. He also told my kids that they could only have one hot chocolate and to stop wasting it. They had two each and drank the entire cups.

I LOVE the walk-in showers; I really appreciate the TV containing stations with good movies to watch; There's an ironing board and iron I can use when needed; Check-in is very easy - and I received two bottles of water; The breakfast is FANTASTIC; all of the employees I encountered were smiling, polite and very helpful and when I checked in quite early in the morning, they provided breakfast even though I had not spent the previous night - extremely wonderful - as I had breakfast with my sister and her husband who DID stay there the previous night. My favorite thing - the Magic Pancake Machine! Absolutely fabulous!

This was supposed to be a 2 person stay and ended up just being me. I took the fact that I would have 2 queen beds to my full advantage. I brought in cart after cart full of Christmas presents for my kids and wrapped in the room. No one judged and all were helpful. The housekeeping was outstanding and very clean. I even got a free concert while I was in my room and they were cleaning next door. It was much appreciated and the voice was absolutely beautiful! I have 4 kids so as much as the silence was nice, the singing housekeeper provided the much needed background noise I needed. The man mopping the hall where the elevators were on the main floor was awesome with the wierd look I gave him because the tile gives off a carpet visual and I honestly thought he was mopping carpet. I laughed and explained my facial expression and he was great about it. I have never seen such a clean breakfast bar and tables. The workers always have smiles and a great attitude. I felt bad for the boxes and styrofoam that I left in my room because I normally don’t do that. They were very understanding and great! This was my first solo trip to the city (I’m from the mountains) and I was so scared due to my paranoia. The location of the place reminded me of home and made me feel safer. I definitely will be planning a similar trip to the same place next year in December. OH! I almost forgot, the location is less than 15 minutes from any shopping destination I put in my gps. That was vital. I don’t like traveling far from my hotel for the places I need (especially if I am by myself).

Absolutely nothing

We were here unexpectedly after our plane got diverted to Albany airport, and we were able to book a room very last minute. The shuttle arrived at the airport quickly and the driver was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent, with many options.

The check-in process was extremely slow. We arrived after midnight with others from our flight all exhausted from a day of travel delays and frustrated about not being able to get home for another day, so that definitely contributed to the sentiment. It might be helpful if they looked into some kind of self-check in kiosks like many other airport hotels have stared doing!

My flight could not land in LaGuardia due to bad weather. We diverted to Albany and had to spend the night in Albany. Hotel is close to the airport ; free shuttle ; Clean hotel. It would be nice to add more toiletries such as shower cap. Cotton swab, and for an extra cost, bath robe/slippers . The Staff were friendly, empathetic and kind. I personally think that there should be more choices for breakfast, since it is your main meal for the day. Overall 9/10

I loved the modern design and furnishings, and it was really clean. The staff was great as well.

My one complaint is that the bell on the elevator is so loud! I heard these bells chiming constantly, so loud it sounded like my dryer alarm going off! Why so loud? It’s not necessary when the person calling for the elevator is standing right in front of it, but it’s disturbing when it starts in the wee hours of the morning when most are still sleeping. I didn’t get good sleep even though the bed was comfy.

The decor was really cute and modern. The beds were comfortable and the blackout shade made it easy to sleep in. My kids also enjoyed the pool, which wasn't too cold.

The only real weakness was the breakfast, which was still not bad. There was a lot to pick from, but it missed some classic breakfast buffet staples like fruit salad and you usually had either breakfast sausage or bacon but not both. Breakfast was also served on paper plates/cups.

The fact the floors were clean cuz tile... my socks weren't dirty like they can get in other hotels... clean socks means you mopped.

The size of the room didn't have a wide enough "empty space" or allow enough space for private stretching or yoga... the only option was the tight hall near the bathroom that was narrow or the area by the desk where even if i moved the chair i might hit my head on the desk. I don't want to stretch in public in the fitness center with strangers watching.
