We really enjoyed staying at Residenza Giacomuzzi in Mestre. The location is perfect when visiting Venice - 15mins on the tram or bus to Venice so away from the crowds, lots of good restaurant options including pizza, seafood and traditional Italian. The B&B itself was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was good, served to us by Dario, the owner himself. Dario was super helpful, showing us where to buy transport tickets, giving us restaurant suggestions and tips on where to go in Venice. Would recommend this B&B for anyone visiting Venice as it ticks all the boxes.

The apartments were absolutely excellent – spacious, spotless, and very well-equipped. There was even a kettle, fresh fruit, and water waiting for us, which was such a nice touch. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, as we stayed during 30-degree heat and truly enjoyed the perfect indoor temperature. The location is great too – just a short walk from the tram stop, and in about 30 minutes you’re in Venice! We couldn’t be happier with our stay and would definitely come back.

Nice little B&B with a fantastic host and delicious breakfast in a great location! If you don't want to stay in the hustle-bustle expen$ive Venice lagoon area (or if you have an early morning flight out of VCE, as we did), consider staying here in Mestre. This clean, safe, and modern community is a 10-15-minute bus ride to old Venice (and a 15-minute taxi ride to the airport) -- convenient, yet much less expensive accommodations and more authentic and less expensive restaurants. The room is clean and spacious with complimentary bottles of water in the mini-fridge and a bowl of fresh fruit on the dresser. The bathroom is modern with a shower that has plenty of hot water and water pressure and doesn't leak! There's even a washing machine in the bathroom and a drying rack in case you need to do laundry. The neighborhood is quiet at night, though there's a bar across the little piazza and a vibrant pedestrian shopping district right around the corner with more bars and lots of restaurants. Host Dario is welcoming and accommodating. He loves Venice/Mestre and clearly enjoys hosting his guests.

Dario is a very kind and helpfull person. He gave us a lot of usefull informations about the locations of the must see places and helped us in everything we needed. The accomodation was very clean, quiet location and good restaurants and shops around. I must tell something about the breakfast...it was the best breakfast i ever had in my life. I dont know how he managed to give us fresh baked croasants and also the orange juice 😍

Everything was absolutely fantastic

We cannot think of a better place for visiting Venice or Mestre. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. The parking place is free and very close to the Residenza. The bus and tram stop to Venice is 100 meters away. A huge shopping centre with a supermarket and a superb restaurant are literally steps away (we recommend pizza and spaghetti with ragu), as well as the Mestre old square. The breakfast was great, with the best cappuccino and warm cornetto we've had in Italy.

The proprietor Dario made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. He kindly greeted us at 23:30 and showed us to our room. Our room (1) was perfect, immaculately clean, comfortable bed and smartly decorated. Plenty of space, storage including a mini bar. Breakfast was a delight. Dario provided us with information on how to travel to Venice ( it’s very easy, frequent and cheap) including some interesting walking routes when there. We followed these over the next few days. He also provided advice on eating out in Mestre, which is a delightful town, with many restaurants, cafes, shopping and weekly markets. The guesthouse is only 2 minutes walk from a charming pedestrianised square. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at Residenza Giacomuzzi.

I love the location which is at the Mestre Center, very close to the bus and tram pick-up points and restaurants nearby. Also, it was homey, cozy and very clean with comfortable beddings that gave us a good sleep and restful night. All-day snacks and candies were also provided. Last but not the least, Dario is a great host. He gave us very clear instructions about the place and on how to navigate Venice. He also suggested great restaurants Thank you so much Dario!

This place is a true gem in Venezia Mestre! We were given clear instructions on how to get to the property which we found straight away. Since the owner Dario was not available on the day, he sent his father to greet us. He was extremely helpful and gave us many tips for our stay in Venice! The location is just 3min walk from Mestre Centre station where the tram takes you to Venice in just 10mins. The room was immaculately clean and tidy and everything we needed was there, including a mini fridge (which is very convenient if you have young kids) and a fruit bowl. Breakfast was served in a cafeteria just outside the property. The croissants and sweets here were delicious! Dario was always available via Whatsapp and also kindly agreed to let us leave out luggage in a safe place in the common area on our last day after checking out, in order for us to roam around the streets of Venice freely, which we extremely appreciated! I highly recommend this place to visit Venice!

The place, while being "far" from the isle of Venice, it has near lots of options to travel to, so in the end, It's excellently located in a calm area of the center of Mestre, having a lot of life in the surrounding area with excelent restaurants and places to shop. Dario was very lovely and kind to explain everything of the apartment at the beginning and give to the customer a map of the place with lots of recommendations, very nice in that regards. The place itself was not an exception here, being extremely comfortable and very nice decorated, with options of breakfast to choose from. In general, it's an excellent place to stay if you want to go to Venice, which I would highly recommend to anyone and definitely gonna consider when I come back to Venice.

Location location and location again. 15 min tram to the center of Venice every 15 min. If you stay locally there are good restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets and coffee bars. Close to the main square of Mestre and the accompanying shops. A small balcony for drinking morning coffee or an evening beer, a special special feeling if you are alone in the common dining room.

Unfortunately, the window of the room No.1 is opposite the main chimney of the nearby restaurant, so the air is always full of the smell of food,.but it's not a big minus and the warehouse of the same restaurant is on the ground floor, so if they unload the goodd it's a little noisy, but it's tolerable.
