Beautiful view from the room, lovely breakfast hamper (crossaints and granola, fresh orange juice) peaceful location, great price for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Gardens are peaceful other than nature sounds which is exactly what you need on a get away retreat, Easy to locate and just enjoy the privacy! Provided with fresh towels and a tea/coffee station in the room. Beautiful to chill in the gardens and wake up to a peaceful view

Small damp in the room and blinds very hard to open and shut, bigger cups for coffee machine needed (very small improvements) Prices I would say for spa access as a guest was quite high so we didn't get to use the facilities

From our room, we had a fantastic view of a field, in the morning, we only found Cows grazing outside, for a whimsical awakening. The size was larger than most, if not all, other hotel rooms I've stayed in. The shower uses a dispenser system instead of a couple of dinky little packets of Shampoo and conditioner. The Wi-fi was even better than any hotel I've used previously, in stability and speed. The provided breakfast was very nice, of a Croissant with Butter and Jam, Granola with Oat milk and a bottle of Orange juice.

One of the dispensers fell off the wall while the shower was in use, we told the Staff ASAP, but it should still be usable for the next person that stays, just be careful. To lock the door, make sure you're holding the handle up while turning the key.

Perfect location and environs. A fruit alternative for dessert at lunch would have helped us. The room was more basic than I would have thought but perfectly comfortable and sleep was beautifully restful. The view of the fields from the full sized windows was a living picture!

A lotion from the spa would have been nice to have in the room along with the washing products. The water from the kettle was not boiling temp I think.

It's lovely. Beautiful scenery, quiet location, tons of bunnies in the nearby field you can watch. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had two big bottles of water in my room, and they refilled one no problem. That's such a great touch.

I didn't realize you get breakfast with your stay. On their own website it says that it's not included, but I got a basket on my last morning there and realized I had left the previous one outside untouched, so it was wasted.

Excellent spa resort break. Location was perfect close to Canterbury. So peaceful the spa itself was really good , set in lovely grounds and just the right sizeb Or room was clean and sizeable for the 2 of us. Loved the breakfast delivered to our room in a picnic basket.

Only quibbles would be not taking the finished breakfast plates away during the day.

The treatments were wonderful and didn't feel rushed despite a full spa that particular morning. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lunch was lovely. The gardens and location are beautifully tranquil.

It's such a shame that the lake was empty - not the owner's fault at all, but we did feel this should be mentioned; firstly because it means it is (was during our stay) nowhere near as picturesque as the photos suggested, but also because the dredges of the lake have now begun to smell and this reached the room. It was also quite a surprise to be eating communally at a shared table with a meal shared with people we hadn't met. They were really lovely ladies, but it felt a little intimidating and awkward at first, so not conducive to full relaxation.

The access to the spa facilities to myself is excellent, especially as I have difficulty in walking

On the first night, my husband encounters and invasion of wasps into the room. Therefore we had to close the windows and kept them closed for the duration which meant the room was very warm. When I spoke to reception I was so so we should expect this because we live in the countryside! Not the answer I would expect

We didn't stay at the location all day due to us having a wedding but it was nice to know we had somewhere close to come back to which we didn't have to travel far to and be comfortable.

Spiders covered the whole outside of the room at night. Can't be helped but besides that, nothing else to report.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Service with a smile. Great team you have. Breakfast was perfect. Amazing selection and nutritious. Everyone was happy. Thank you for an amazing experience definitely coming back again.

Great location, nice and tranquil and particularly enjoyed breakfast.

My daughter was not allowed in the pool nor to engage in any of the spa offers because she is not yet 14, something to do with insurance even though she is in the water all the time, also in a surf club. I was ready to cancel when we found out but she wanted to come anyway. We've stayed at hotels before where she was allowed in the pool as long as accompanied by an adult, so it was disappointing.
