I wasn't expecting a detached cabin. It was self-contained and felt very secure. I was able to park right next-door too. Very good for solo travelling. I loved the bee theme to the decor. Breakfast was good and all the hosts very friendly. I would happily stay at the Butchers Arms again.

The sink in the ensuite was tiny and I couldn’t find many channels on the TV. But the cabin was cosy and comfortable and a bath mat had been supplied.

I travel all over the UK for work and stay in 100's of hotels but the hospitality shown by the owner and staff was magnificent!! Telephoned them to say I might be late for an evening meal, they said don't worry we'll sort you out. I left before breakfast due to early start so they made me a pack lunch instead NO charge! I'm back down next month and will book again, this will be my go to hotel in future as I'm in the area at least monthly!

Quiet cabin adjacent to the main pub, well presented and clean. Usual in room facilities, tea, coffee, tv etc. Own shower & toilet. The 'Butchers breakfast' is very good too, they should consider opening earlier doing breakfasts! Friendly owners & staff. Close to coastal areas such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, sizewell and a short journey upto Southwold.

Only downside I found was wifi doesn't reach the cabins ( 1st world problems 😂)

Full English breakfast and varied evening menu cooked to order. We stayed in one of the three chalets which was surprisingly quiet, with a well-equipped shower room, a tv, kettle and mini fridge and our bed was comfortable. Although we had no wardrobe or shelving for clothes storage, a hanging rail on the wall worked well.

Poor wifi signal. The chalet decor was a bit tired and marked and we would have liked a second bedside light.

Very good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff, Excellent location. Good walking/running on the common. Close to coast and Aldborough. Chalet was warm and comfortable, bed good.

Shower did not have a non slip surface which was a particular problem for my wife who has a disability. Room could have done with a intermediate cleaning visit to clean and change cups.

Great location for visiting Minsmere and other nature reserves. Quiet location set back from the road. Easy and safe off street parking. The fridge was really nice to have. Excellent takeaway breakfast provided so we could get an early start. The hosts are lovely people and helped us out in a pinch (lent us a pump for a leaking tire until we could get it fixed the next morning, which saved our day- thank you!)

Spacious and lovely clean bathroom . Breakfast was amazing and staff were friendly. The accommodation was separate to the actual pub and was very quiet.

We moved one of the beds as the lady said we could but it hadn’t been cleaned underneath. The fridge was not working properly and the shower could do with being fixed even though the pressure of water was amazing.

Comfortable en-suite room in the garden of a pub. Excellent location, handy for Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings, which are fashionable, expensive, areas. Pub run by very friendly, welcoming family, Excellent home-cooked food.

Garden surroundings rather untidy - could easily have been made quite nice. Room a little expensive for what offered.

The “ Pods” were completely self sufficient and had everything you need…. Apart from hairdryers ….. The beds were comfy and we took advantage of the food provided at the pub which was delicious . The breakfast was smoke with an excellent choice . The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome .

Room was lovely staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was brilliant!

The listing by booking .com was not clear Listed a double bed and futon this was not available and the futon is only child size apparently had the other room it been free then there would have been a real problem, as much as I love my boss it was not appropriate to share a bed with her!
