City centre location on a busy road. Modern hotel. Very clean . All the staff were great. Breakfast was great too and we had a very good evening meal in the bar/restaurant. Secure underground parking cost 10 euros. The room was lovely, with a massive comfortable bed. Separate bathroom with shower and bidet. The only quibble was the room was very hot at night and the air con wasn’t working because the hotel had disabled it as it was mid November and I guess they don’t think people want it at this time of year? We had to open the window which meant very energetic flys were in our room, and we were disturbed by the noise of the traffic. But overall very good and good value

This hotel was selected for a one night stopover on our journey, its a large hotel with parking available at an extra charge of course and is located underneath the hotel with a very steep way out. The recptionist was friendly and knowledgable. We got an upgrade and the room was lovely with extra items like slippers,a shoe horn and shoe cleaning kit on offer as well as a mini bar,but the best thing was the comfortable bed. We tend not to have breakfast as my partner is Gluten Free and this can be a problem as not kuch is available and if it is it tends to be defrosted bakery items. We ate in the hotel restaurant at night.

Just getting our Motorbike out of the garage was difficult.

The staff spoke english and went out of thier way to accomdate. We left the morning before the nationwide electrical outage and went to Lisbon for business. In lisbon we learned about the electrical outage and after 3 hours called the hotel. They agreed to accomodate our retrun. The staff had many headaches as result of the outage. They took measures to accomodate us depsite the handicops imposed. Hats off to the nightmanager. The breakfast and dining area are excellent.

I stayed at the Hotel Badajoz Centre during a thirty day road trip through France & Spain. The hotel offered safe and secure parking for my car and good facilities with a swimming pool, spacious restaurant and bar area. My room was well appointed, clean and with a very comfortable bed. I took the half board option for my two night stay, which was excellent value for money. There was a good choice at breakfast and the evening meal was good. Overall, Badajoz was a very interesting place to visit, lots of history and not far from Portugal. The Hotel Badajoz Centre was a pleasant base and would defiantly recommend

Nothing of note

We were celebrating my wife's birthday on a trip around Spain and stayed here for one night. During our stay, the bar staff sent a bottle of wine to our room, along with a lovely letter from the Hotel Manager, which was a wonderful gesture. The evening meal was beautiful and the service from the staff was excellent. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. with excellent facilities. We will definitely return to this hotel - it is superb.

Absolutely nothing. The attention to detail is noteworthy. Well done to the manager and his team.

The hotel was well situated close to bars and shops and a 15 min walk from the old town. The hotel was well appointed and the room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and as we had missed our breakfast on the 1st morning of our 2 day stay, they gave us a free breakfast in the bar! The hotel had plenty of parking and were doing a deal for it if you booked breakfast. However, there was also free parking directly behind the hotel should you wish to use it.

The only thing that we didn't like was the breakfast on the 2nd morning. Whilst there was plenty of choice of hot and cold breakfast items to choose from. These included fruit, yoghurts, ham, cheese, croissants etc and a couple of coffee machines that you could help yourself from, the hot items, bacon, eggs, sausages etc were under power and like warm at best.

We stayed for 1 night on a road trip. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also very quiet as we were not in a road facing room. Ideally located for us as we just needed a stopover on our way to Cordoba. Some nice bars and cafes nearby.

Receptionist on arrival was a bit cold with us. Bar staff were slow to serve although it wasn't busy.

Although not in the center of downtown the hotel is nicely located and easily accesible to stores, restaurants, the bus station the and several sights like the Museo Extremeno of Modern Art, Plaza del Pilar, and el Corte Ingles Mall. Within walking distance you can reach the Puete de Palmas (Roman Bridge), Puerta de Palmas, the riverfront parks that at night turn into club/bars hot spot, Plaza San Francisco (many activities) and the Plaza de Espana and the city cathedral.

A nice hotel with good facilities, although there did not seem to be much of interest in the immediate vicinity.. The room was spacious and quiet. The large bed was comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant and a good buffet breakfast is available. In the evening the restaurant offers dinner. We took dinner in the restaurant and the meal was tasty but was not in our opinion particularly good value as there was a minimal amount of meat in the main course with a lot of rice. The hotel has underground parking with plenty of spaces, but although there is a double gate into the car park only one side opens and this makes it rather narrow so anyone with a large SUV would find it tight.

We feel that there should be more than one person on reception. There was only one person when we arrived and he was busy answering the phone with one call after another and as a result we had a long wait to be able to check-in. Presumably taking new bookings takes priority over those waiting to check-in.

Easy to find good access to secure Garage. We had a program with room air con broke they moved us immediately and a letter of apology in our new room with fruit.

Having to go through the trauma of complaining about the air con not working .with not being able to speak Spanish or the girl on reception not understanding us. We had had a long drive and it was a very hot room. The room should of been checked before we checked in. Also dinner starting at 8pm is too late for us. I do appreciate this is normal in Spain.
