My room was spotlessly clean when I arrived. There was good closet space, very reliable wifi in my room (fast enough for streaming video or taking video calls) and 2 twin beds with comfortable mattresses and clean linens in the room, even the pillows were good quality and comfort. The front desk staff were kind and helpful to me, I felt very welcome and safe in the space traveling as a solo woman. I was very comfortable and impressed with their cleanliness for my whole stay. I enjoyed every part of this stay, the value for money was excellent

Our stay was really pleasant. As already mentioned by others cleanliness is outstanding. Staff was very friendly. Location is very good as well. A few minutes from 2 metro stations ( Carabanchel and Vista Allegre) , a bit more than 5 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Last , hopefully useful bit of info for tourists, It took us an hour 10 minutes from check out to the airport T4. ( You need to charge the airport ticket in your travel card). We took Carabanchel (line5) to Nuñez Balboa ( 5) switched to line 9 went to Columbia (9) where we took line 8 that takes you straight to the Airport. Will be staying at Hostal Maria Ronda again. Hopefully soon . Madrid well worth the visit.

Small room but very comfortable, clean and secure. Very comfortable beds, just a great place to get a good night's sleep. Very friendly staff, they were always ready and willing to answer any questions and to make recommendations. The Hostal is located in the residential barrio Vista Alegre. This barrio is non-touristy, it's a mix of apartment blocks and tiendas. The barrio is calm, clean and very inviting.

I have nothing negative to say about the Hostal. I hope to stay there again.

The hostel was perfectly clean, the linens were changed and the room was cleaned every day. The staff was available at all times, day and night, and everybody was very nice. Bed was comfortable and the windows perfectly cancel all the noise from the outside.

The room and bathroom space were a little bit tight. Also, you don't hear noise from the outside, but you can hear the next-room neighbor and doors shutting in your hallway. It was very rarely though.

Hotel was in a residential area, we were glad we stayed here rather than in central Madrid because the traffic was intense in the centre. The bus stop to go to Plaza Major is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel, very easy to find. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful (we arrived at 10pm). Car parking was on the street, or we noticed a few pay parking buildings in the local area. Lots of restaurants in the local area. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and functionable.

I really appreciated the hospitality of the staff and their availability for any questions or assistance, especially since I had a very serious medical condition. They helped me and arranged a taxi to take me to the emergency. I thank all the staff who were present on 29/12/2024 around 1:00 PM. I will not hesitate to return in the future. Gracias.

The only thing that I didn’t like is the location which is not very close to the city center. However there is very reliable public transport (bus/metro) to reach it.

The staff was incredibly polite and professional. I loved how you could enter and leave 24 hours per day. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room sparkling clean.

The only critique is that the surrounding neighborhood is a bit run down. You wouldn't suspect that the hostal is so nice, but it is.

I chose this place because I was attending a concert in Palacio Vistalegre which was really close! The location of this hostal made everything so easy and comfortable. The check in and check out was quick, the lobby was very beautiful. Our room was modern with a big, cozy bed, big wardrobe and a relatively big bathroom. Everything was spotless clean. I was pleasantly surprised that there was an AC too which worked perfectly. The bathroom had 4 towels, shower gel, shampoo, handsoap, 2 glasses and a hairdryer. The staff were friendly everytime we met them. The metro station was close too, it took about 10 minutes to walk there. It is a perfect choice if you plan to attend an event at Palacio Vistalegre! The only thing i could mention is the thin walls. It didn't bother me, but it was quite funny that we could hear the guests in the next room shower haha! Apart from this, i still had the best sleeps ever on holiday!
