The room was amazing and staff were extremely helpful with the check in process and any questions we had. The location is also perfect for day hikes and also the Fitness/Spa area are top standard! Breakfast was also fantastic!

Having to pay for the gondola/funicular up to the hotel is a bit ridiculous. It adds an additional bonus costs which even though we were informed, should be really included for hotel guests, as the rooms are not cheap. The concept of ''paying for what you use'' is smart, but if you stay for several nights they charge you to ''refresh'' the room. This makes no sense to us. If you have X for the first night and you get a clean room then you have to pay the same price for the next night with a room which isn't refreshed, you should either have a discount on your room rate for the second night or atleast the option to say no to a refresh. Besides that, everything was amazing, just these two points stuck in our minds.

Outstanding location with mountains all around. The hotel is exceptionally modern, clean and with incredible facilities that we felt were affordable and without any fuss. We arrived early long before the rooms would typically be ready for check in, becasue we wanted to go on a hike. They immediately gave us access to a locked and safe luggage room where we left our suitcase. When we came back to check in, it was all self check in and took 5 minutes to do so. We even configured our own door keys (cards). The room was modern, large, with incredible mountain view, air conditioned, TV and strong wifi. The double bed was a good size and very comfortable. There is no fridge, microwave oven, tea of coffee. With that said all of these are available at the lounge or the restaurant at very affordable prices. There are water fountain stations outside the rooms that provide hot or cold water with bottles and glasses. For CHF12 per person, one can use the sauna, steam room, gym and relaxation rooms. All extremely clean and modern. The food in the restaurant is unpretentious and of high quality, again at reasonable prices. Check out was again quite easy, with us leaving our suitcase with them for a few hours. They even extended our check out time for 2 hours for free.

The room had a beautiful cozy feel. Loved the flooring and design. Great TV that can connect to you phone as well. They left a little 'present' which is wildflower seeds. The facilities were great and the hotel had a pillow menu too which was great considering it seems custom to only give one pillow here. The location is great and we also got a welcome drink on arrival. Much appreciated. Lastly, the linen sheets used and the cleanliness were probably my most favourite thing.

The price was very high for one night and food too. There Is also no kettle or mini fridge in the room, something that could come in handy.

The place was beatiful and the ski schuele was amazing. Furthermore, the Stoos Lodge has everything you need: good food, nice view from the room and a clean place. We loved staying there and would love to come back anytime. I would recommend going to Kyliam rent place. Which is next to the church and Kyliam is a true friend who help us with the ski lessons.

It's a simple thing that didn't bother us, but when we went to dinner at Stoos Lodge, the staff were late to serve us at first. However, when they got organized, the experience improved and we had a good night.

The hotel is so clean. From reception, bar, restaurant to our room. The bar area is lovely and relaxing after a long day hiking. Good music and great selection of drink. The restaurant was really good. Great food. And not expensive (for Switzerland) staff are helpful and ready to help with anything you need. The shower in our room was amazing!!! The bed was so so comfy and nice smelling bedding. We had an awesome view with balcony doors that opened wide. The room was a nice temp and no noise. We had a perfect nights sleep. I would 100 percent recommend this hotel. We will be back.

Check in. You have to use a computer which isn’t difficult but when things go wrong and it’s busy, you have to wait for the one member of staff to come help. You also need passport details which I didn’t have as we live in Switzerland.

Great location, spacious rooms

In the attempt to make the place super modern and cool, there are definitely quite a few flaws- the smoking room in the bar is a terrible idea as the insulation is badly done and the whole bar stinks of cigarette smoke when people are in the smoking room. The seating in the restaurant is very uncomfortable. The bathroom design in the rooms is silly. There must be a better place for the game room than in the bunker. Breakfast is good but super expensive for any standards especially since there’s no discount for children.

The location is very nice, stunning position, withing walking distance from the to chair lifts in the area, the breakfast was nice, had dinner in the restaurant twice and both service and food were OK.

A huge minus was that the cleaning was not included, you would have to pay 30 chf per day for room cleaning. For a 4 stars and the price paid, that was quite a surprise. Too little interaction with personel, self chenck in, self check-out, I totally disliked this. Plus the feeling that they are understaffed under this automatization set up.

The property is amazing, especially for kids. The big inside plaground is funny for kids of each age. The hotel is huge and kids can run around without fear of getting hurt. Easy access just in front of the arrival of the funicular. Rooms are big (we had an M size) and can accomodate confortably a cot and baggages. Breakfast is also nice with a lot of options (also vegetarian and vegan and lactose free). The dinner option instead were okay, we didn’t really have any choice as every other restaurant in the village was closed.

2 minor things we didn’t like: It’s really hot in the rooms and around the hotel. If we knew, we would have brought t-shirts and light pants, but it was winter outside and we only had winter clothes with us. Moreover, the room are big but the bed and especially pillows are very soft, so not really confortable for who likes to sleep with firm pillows. I couldn’t sleep both nights. It would be nice if they can put two different types of pillow in the rooms so that everyone can be happy depending on their preferences. Anyway, these are minor things and our family is planning to return again :)

This hotel brings new meaning to the term ski-in and is absolute perfection! This was our second stay but the first in the winter and it might be my favorite hotel in Switzerland. The views are insane, the rooms are immaculate and the food was fantastic. It was a luxurious little oasis to relax in after an amazing day hiking and sledging. For those with kids the play area looked amazing as well!

Nothing. It was amazing

Stoos Lodge was beautiful and convenient and very dog friendly complete with a mat and dog bowls! The location is perfect at the top of the furnicular and I could store my bag after I checked out so I could hike without extra weight. I enjoyed my stay and the beautiful view from the bar area!

All amentities are at an additional cost including the fitness facilities, sauna, and breakfast.
