Although this place is slightly more expensive than most but not top rate don’t expect the Ritz! Embrace the culture and way of life and you’ll realise that the locals think you are at the Ritz! Cute place with a small clean pool but ego needs a pool when the ocean is yards away Sunloungers with padded covers and very comfortable bean bags makes lounging around enjoyable. Food is all ok but places like the Eco cafe and the French bakery have excellent food.

It was all worth it the money. Just be sure to make your mark when signing a bill at the hotel as we had someone buy a sandwich on our room. It was very clear it wasn’t my signature. The host kindly removed it.

Food , location, almost all the staff. Lovely well maintained gardens, well designed rooms. V good service in the restaurant though the bar staff always seemed able not to notice a chance to do a tiny bit of work. The property is clean and well maintained.

Cocktails mainly very poor. Fresh fruit juices on menu but not available except , strangely, for one day. Deputy manager has a poor attitude and almost no language skills, leading to small children having to leave the room early to wait in the heat. After an 11 day stay with 7 people he should have allowed a slightly late check out, only in one room, only an hour! The hotel had emptied out and this was very disappointing. The main manager(?) did an excellent job but was not on duty at the time.

We loved the beachside location of this hotel. It was delightful to have breakfast at chairs and tables on the sand in the morning and to sit on the banana lounges in the evenings and watch the ocean. The hotel is small and has a cool relaxed vibe and the location makes good value for money. The beach is lovely, and the hotel's pool looks out to the beach which is a nice feel. It is great having an outdoor / pool bar - so close to be able to comfortably sit in the deck-chairs and have easy access to a drink. We booked a snorkling tour from the hotel - which took us out to see the mantra rays which was fun. I would definitely come back here again - as due to the location it is good value for money and very relaxing. The staff were nice too.

We booked very last minute (about a week before arrival) and managed to book the last room. If you don't want to walk up stairs to your room - try and book a villa or a downstairs room.

Great family run small relaxed hotel. Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms, consistent fresh food. Fantastic location right on the beach. Loved the beach bean bags. Wayan was very happy to organise boast trips, scooters, and ferry bookings. Each room came with surf board racks and the surf taxi is easy to arrange and is close by. Great place to stay. We would stay again.

We would have preferred to have somewhere to refill our own water bottles rather than have single use plastic, to avoid contributing to Bali’s plastic pollution problem. Other places we stayed in bali had bulk water refill facilities.

The staff were great. Location was great. Food was great.

If I’m being really picky, when you are dropped off at the street it is a maze to find your way to the hotel, so more signage with direction arrows would be good. the bathroom was adequate but not as clean as I would have liked. We were shown to our room but not shown through our room. Told bottled water was free ( warm water on counter) but charged for exact same water bottles in fridge. Bathroom door when closed had gap that looked straight onto the toilet. This would not stop me staying again though

Very friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Jagar and Wayan very helpful with payment difficulty with machine. Provided beach towels and vinegar for stings. Great location near beach. Able to have 3 people in 1 room. Good to have included breakfast - many options included. Nasi Goreng is a favourite. Good beds and very good pillows. Instant hot water for shower.

Seafood platter meals were overcooked. Suggestions to improve: Would be good to have local activities information for snorkelling and fishing and paddle board hire. Pictures of the meals would be good to help choose. Bathroom fittings rusting and look better to replace.

The service here was incredible. We were well looked after throughout our stay. They communicated to us clearly about the expectations around Nyepi and answered all-out questions. We chose a great place to be for the celebrations and day of silence. The rooms are cute and comfortable, with a nice seating area outside. The pool is large and deep, which I love, and there are plenty of sun beds and bean bags to sit on to relax. The beach is beautiful, and it was lovely to sit on the beach and eat breakfast after Nyepi. The menu is varied, and the food is delicious. Thank you

The room was spacious and clean. Comfy bed and good AC. Great, quiet location in the popular part of the island. Cafes and restaurants (and small supermarket) are just a short walk away along the beach or up the alley to the main street. The pool was great to entertain my little son, and the beach out front was nice and clean for swimming. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. Have stayed before and will definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed the location being that you wake up and your feet are in the sand at breakfast. Amazing spot for sunsets. Massage facilities are amazing. Only AU$18 p/h. To get to the hotel is a little off the beaten track off main road.....but they all are. Excellent facility though. Hired scooter from hotel and staff helped us with transfers and bookings for everything we wanted to do. Pool was quite small but did the job. Down side......mattresses were hard as a rock but rooms were cleaned daily and staff were beautiful. Overall 9/10. Very happy travellers x

Location is the best on Jungut Batu - right on the beach -easy walking to RESTURANTS Cafes and beaches .WI_ FI .. much better than OHANAS. Since the rainy season they made some upgrades to the main RESTURANT / RECEPTION area. We stayed April 2023 It’s looks all shiny and white . Pool is sparkling Clean . Breakfast menu AMAZING - they upgraded the presentation since our last trip 6 months ago ! But please BRING BACK old school BALINESE Banana Pancakes we have loved for the last 30 years . Staff are great - can organise Buggy Hire - snorkelling trips and ferry tickets and transport for you . It’s just the perfect spot and great value . We felt SAFE and well looked after .
