Sherwood Motel is still fantastic after 20 years! I’ve stayed here 5 or 6 times over the years. It is always sparkling clean, comfortable, updated. It’s in an excellent location very close to all kinds of amenities…restaurants walking distance, grocery store and pharmacy across the street, a vintage movie theatre a short walk away. Perfectly located for us motorcyclists that love riding scenic loops on the local twisty roads. I’ve even brought a bicycle and rode the Pine Creek railtrail. Look forward to returning many times!

The room was very clean and orderly as were the bathroom facilities. Liked that the Motel is centrally located to restaurants, shops, etc. My friend and I took a walking tour after breakfast and visited many of the shops as well as the town square by the Court House. Wellsboro is a beautiful town with so much to offer. Don't change a thing!!!! We plan to visit again in the near future.

The only thing my friend and I didn't like were the mattresses on the double beds in the room sloped to one side. They may need flipped over.

Location of property and condition of rooms. Cleaning staff very pleasant and professional.

Desk attendant was unaware of location and availability of local attractions Though that in itself is ok the main brochure with information about the town and attractions was from 2024. Could be new to the job but easily explained if attempted. Overall experience was good and trip was a good one.

Such a charming little spot with a super comfy bed and delightful room. Parking is right outside your door, so easy to get your stuff in and out. The swimming pool was just past the motel. The location is just off the downtown Wellsboro with a short walk to stores and restaurants. The Wellsboro diner for breakfast was charming. Only stayed one night passing through, but there is so much to do in the area that it would be fine for a longer stay.

The motel was very clean and comfortable bed.

It's noisy. Road noise. Our room was located with a lot of contractors and at 4:30am they started their trucks to start their work day. Would of preferred a location in the other building. This section of the parking lot is very tight for parking, especially with all of the big trucks.

Staff was really great. Myself, along with the other guests I was staying with, were out very late visiting Cherry Springs park nearby and I called in the morning to ask for a later checkout and they were very hospitable about letting us stay an extra hour or two on short notice. Also left behind an expensive camping mat by accident and they called me within half an hour and let me know they had it waiting for me. Very happy with my choice of where to stay.

Great price, comfortable beds, clean room, friendly staff, well-kept room, good lighting in bathroom. Appreciated the fridge and microwave. Would definitely stay here again!

The only tiny recommendation I have is to have an HVAC unit that has a continuous fan option. We use a white noise app to help with this.

Location, walking distance to everything if you don’t want to drive, the rooms don’t face street traffic.

It is a 2 bed room, up to 4 people but only 1 chair, another chair or even 2 would give a comfortable seat instead of the bed. The room had several flys inside, maybe the doors can be closed while cleaning would help keep them out.

Room was very nice and clean. We had two queen beds in our room, which was good because one bed was more comfortable than the other. The location was perfect for walking around downtown Wellsboro.

One of the beds felt like it was tilted to the right. Once we moved to the other bed it was very comfortable.

Freshly remodeled room... clean...ac very appreciated... size of refrigerator... liked the Wellsboro lamp motif...

Bathroom had mold... smell gives it away...parking space really crowded by the construction trucks..
