This stay was for my granddaughter’s 12th birthday. We had a tower, 2 Queen Suite which was perfect for 4, 12 year-olds to have a fun sleepover. The suite is in the newer section of the Lodge, so everything is updated. The kitchen space has an apartment sized refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. The livingroom has a very comfortable sofa and chair. It’s spacious, clean and the location couldn’t be better. There’s a pool, spa( open 8-8) sauna (in the locker room), a workout room, and a computer room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dunkin is directly across the street, as well as a CVS, Tops grocery store andTony’s Italian Cusine. It’s a block from the historic Main Street with multiple eateries and shops.

Nothing! It was perfect.

Hotel personnel were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was run efficiently and delicious, getting a good start for the day. Nice additional feature having the pool.

I was disappointed with the room cleaning service. We started out on a good note, but in the ensuing days we had to go looking for Jennifer, and our last day our room was not cleaned at all. We were in and out for durations of time, but every time we came back on Wednesday, the room had not been attended. As we are on vacation, one of the luxuries is to have clean towels and a made bed. We gave up trying to find her on Wednesday, she had probably gone home for the day. Does the cleaning staff not have a checklist where they can go back and check rooms? We were out by 10:00 each day. Do we not understand the routine/procedure for this service and being unfair? As a paying guest, I don't feel like we should have to go looking for the cleaning staff.

The room was lovely and we were permitted to check in a little early. Really liked having the suite which included a couch and chair as well as a kitchenette. It was very quiet which we truly appreciated.

The breakfast was satisfactory and included hot and cold items but could have had a better selection of pastries and a crockpot of oatmeal instead of the packaged oatmeal.

The beds and blankets were very comfortable. I had the best sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The pull out couch was also very comfortable. The room had lots of space and fit our needs perfectly. It was also very quiet. We didn't hear anything from the upper floors( we were on the 1st floor). The pool was clean and the provided towels were fresh and soft. The location was great with amenities right across the street(coffee shop, grocery store and pharmacy). Would definitely stay again!

I didn't care for the breakfast selections. I would have loved some bacon and the milk for the cereal seemed watery. I would have liked to have updated room key system but it was functional.

It could have been a bit quieter but it's understandable that there were other guests and there will be noises around especially close to the car park but it was convenient for us in the morning where the car was just in front of the room.

The front desk staff's expression, greeting and enthusiasm was a bit stale but the breakfast staff was amazing. Couldn't remember the lady's name but we saw her the day before when she finished work and she remembered us and had a nice passing chat. A very vivacious cheerful lady.

I sent my men (fiancé' and step son) here for their first fishing trip! They had a fantastic time. They said the hotel was clean, staff was awesome and beds super comfortable. My fiancé and I have stayed here several times in the Tower (I prefer the tower).

They said a lot of restaurants in town were closed. So not sure if that is just off season. Everything at the hotel was fantastic.

The breakfast was definitely better than most included ones. Tea and coffee were high quality. Eggs were served daily, along with many other choices. The breakfast cooks and servers were very attentive to our needs. The wifi was quicker than at most budget stays. The location was very walkable to all sorts of dining, and a movie/live-venue theater was only about two blocks away. Within a short drive were outstanding outdoor options such as a wonderful bike path through the Pine Creek Canyon, a climbable fire tower (bring credit card for $8 total charge), and two state parks by the canyon's rim.

The shower's water temperature was a bit tricky to modulate, but could be accomplished with a little practice. The bathroom window was great for fresh air, but did not have an opaque shade to go with it. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave within the budget room (which was very fairly priced). Although free parking was said to be included, after reservations were made, the confirmation sheet said "when available." This was no problem except for crowded times of the week when the parking lot filled up fairly quickly. At that point, it might be tough to get a spot near your room, but perhaps possible to get one farther away.

Though they called it a continental breakfast, the breakfast was a hot breakfast consisting of scrambed eggs and sausage links--both were excellent. They also offered yogurt, homemade muffins, cold cereal, fruit, and other items. Thought the muffins were outstanding, I would have loved to have cinnamon buns/iced donuts instead.

I loved the small quaint town feel with everything with proximity of a short walk. The hotel was nice and accommodating with a large indoor pool and gym. Favorite part was the architecture of the building and large houses in the town.

The beds weren’t the most comfortable but served their purpose.

This hotel was centrally located so you were able to walk to downtown for shopping, dinner, grocery, etc. Car wasn't necessary and the town is very cute, the last of it's kind of small town USA. The scenery was awesome, since the reason for our stay was to enjoy the fall foliage and the Grand Canyon of the East was the place to do it. The hotel overall is well maintained, parking lot clean, hotel reception is open, plenty of places to sit and chat in small groups, breakfast was filling and staff were awesome. Hope to make this stay an annual trip.

No complaints. The room we had was a suite with fireplace and it was a really nice set up.
