Perfect location. Nice and quiet. Nice small beach with not to many people, almost private. Food in the restaurant was also really nice and tasty. We also used the swimming pool a lot. Nice and well maintained salt water pool. Our house had also a nice rooftop terrace for more private sun bathing and relaxing in the evening (only house number 7 and one other have this) Hua Thanon Fish Market and the Fisherman village is in walking distance and definitely worth visiting.

Only minus with everything perfect is that you don’t get challenged to explore the rest of the island 😁

The rooms where comfortable and the toilet was ok too. The pool was enough for the time spent in the hotel. The location is not that great since the beach in front of the hotel is not really suitable for swimming. Very, very, very shallow water and with rocks. The hotel is tired and needs maintinance on the common areas. The beaches around the hotel are not great neither. You absolutely need to have your own transport to move somewhere or get expensive taxis all the time. This hotel has nothing around. The food in the restaurant is really good and at a very good price. Some staff members are very lazy and do nothing to help you when you need them. The stand up paddle boards are not well mainatined, missing parts and also you have to pump them up yourelf when you want to use them. same with the kayaks. Very average not looked after crafts that you need to move and handle yoruselft to the water as the staff is busy looking at their phones.

Some of the staff was unhelpful. The location was bad. The common areas unmaintained.

Beautiful bungalow stay by the seaside. Just a lovely place for an island holiday. The staff are professional very helpful. As vegans, they accommodate pit needs very well for breakfast. They also provide paddle board and kayaks for free, which we enjoyed taking out to the sea. The location is a little bit out of the center of Lamai but the resort provides scooters to rent at a great price.

There is construction going on, which makes it a bit less peaceful to be around the resort between their working hours (7.30 am to. 6.30 pm)

PERFECTION! I have stayed here 6x before and it just gets better every time. The owner has put such special efforts into improving and expanding this slice of heaven. Beautiful Private beach with great swimming pool on the shore break. Great and large rooms! All Recently renovated. So it’s clean and all new aircons that work well. Nice big balcony’s on the superior rooms with sea views. All for such low prices, you would have to Spend 6x to get similar at another spot in Samoi. Good and quiet location in Lamai with easy access to late night carnivals across the way. Very nice restaurant & bar on the beach. Staff are incredibly friendly and always helpful. They go the extra mile daily. One of my favorite places to stay in all of Thailand! Simple but perfect!

This place is a bit away from all the buzz of Lamai and if you want solitude, it's perfect. It's located right on the beach and you can have your meal right by the sea. The restaurant deserves the best reviews. It serves supreme quality food and although it's quite expensive in comparison with road cafes and food courts, it's still affordable and it's cooked in the clean kitchen. The stuff are super hospitable. They have a shower for guests who check out and leave bags till afternoon which is amazing.

First of the room itself. I read they were renovated, well, ours wasn't. The furniture was old and it was smelly in the toilet. No wardrobe. Also, the beach is not really swimmable. It's very shallow. If you would like to go snorkling, you need to go right along the beach about 300 m till where some boats are ancored, and go into the sea along the reef (the dark line). At first it's quite shallow, but then maybe 1,5 m For a good swim you can go to Lamai, it's 1,5 km away. There the beach is awesome.

The room was fabulous, clean bright and airy. We had a dip pool which was great but just missing any kind of view. Quiet and secluded. The hotel is still being built so reception is very unimpressive! Staff all lovely though. Not sure if main pool / bar is going to remain as is when building work completed but it’s an odd layout if it is. Private beach, whilst there, is ver small! You’d not get a lounger on it! Breakfast was ample. Thai choices, fruit, eggs, bread & cakes. Ate there one night which was lovely (pineapple rice). Out of hotel turn right .. 10min walk to Grandfather rock .. the street down to there is full of little shops and bars .. defo recommend. Turn left out of hotel there is a nice diner by the beach (says Michelin recognised), nice food, good service, nice sunset ..

Very far out (thought it was closer to Lamai) but easy to get Grab into town centre.

Everything, haha. The room was spacious, the view was beautiful, the staff was kind and helpful and breakfast was tasty with a beautiful view as well. Location is calm and if you want more action, it is not too far. We faced mostly rainy/cloudy weather but we liked it. Laundry service was efficient and scooter rental was great as well.

One small con we could think of was the floor, which seems to be updated but not fully, so there are some gaps and colour changes at times. Also, if it is raining, there is a very low chance for a beach, as the area is limited, but two pools compensated for that :)

Very spacious room, comfortable bed (not too hard) and pillows you could actually rest your head on (I feel like in most hotels I've been to in Thailand they are way to thick and hard). Friendly staff, nice pool. Restaurant and breakfast was good.

Beach is very small but basically just for the hotel which is nice. Not too much around there. Hotel is very quite but when you leave it you are on a very busy road. For someone who likes to walk it is quite far to some other good restaurants.

We had a deluxe room with a partial sea view. The room was good, comfortable large bed, decent sized bathroom too, plenty of storage with space to put your stuff down and to hang wet clothes/ towels inside and outside on the large patio. A fan on the patio would improve being able to use this for longer but a great outdoor space even in rain. Everything in good working order a/c, hot water and functional useful furniture. The food here is good for a 3 star hot. The breakfast included different breads and also a small selection of sweet things as well as all the usual suspects; egg station, hot and cold buffet. What I liked was the attention to detail with how the food was laid out and stored to keep flies off. We ate lunch here every day and the selection of western and local food was ok and quality is good, again presented very nicely. Other cafes and restaurants are about 10 to 15 minutes walk away. Plenty of helpful and friendly staff around at all times. 2 small pools, ok for us as in the low season so not too busy, we always had a sun lounger.

Very steep hill up to reception, would be better if ice creams and fridge for cold drinks/water is located around the restaurant area for easier access.

This place was quite the gem and I feel lucky we got to spend a whole week there. The unit we stayed in was brand new, with our own little infinity pool. The room itself was spacious, with a huge bathroom and lots of closet space. We loved the comfy bed! The staff stocked our room daily with coffee pods and pop for the fridge. Even if we didn't have the "make up room" sign out, we would come back to a little goodie bag waiting for us. For the free breakfast we were able to enjoy fresh, made to order eggs, toast and fruit daily. The other items didn't really appeal to our appetite, so I don't know how good any of it was, but there seemed to be plenty of variety. Eating our meals while looking out over the water under the palms was a highlight. The hotel is a short walk from the beach at Lamai, with lots of options to eat along the beach and even a Michelin star restaurant on the far side of the Buddhist temple next door. Across the way and a good 45-60 walk uphill is an incredible look out at Overlap Stone.

The only thing I would suggest to management is to have a light available in the yard at night that isn't tied to the room key. When returning after dark to our room the walk is well lit in public spaces but once you open the gate into our yard it's quite dark and you have to kind of fumble your way up the step to unlock the door. A couple of solar yard lights would likely do the trick.
