Excellent location, newly renovated, fantastic staff

The room was connected to another room by an interior door. The sound insulation was poor, and we could hear every word they said. I assume they could hear us as well. Very inconvenient…

We loved everything about the hotel, location was brilliant. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were charming. Everything worked. Loved the Ancient Greek ruins under the ground floor. Brought some needed culture to our trip!

The location, the staff and the breakfest service was very good

I was not happy with housekeeping. The standard of room cleaning and room service was poor compared to my previous visits to the hotel

Location was great for seeing the sights of Thessaloniki. The hotel is built on old ruins found which they have highlighted throughout the ground floor of the hotel. The room was very clean, we were given a fruit platter upon arrival and the parking and valet service was super easy

The hotel seemed quiet however they had put people staying close by one another eg on floor 5 and I could hear the person next door snoring (all night) Its a shame as the bed was very comfy but I couldn’t sleep well so maybe something to think of when there are fewer quests to spread them out in the hotel rather than all next to one another.

Lots to love about this hotel. The location is great, on a pedestrianised street with a few restaurants below. Light noise from those in the evenings but not enough to stop you sleeping. It's a few minutes walk to the seafront, harbour, bus stops and the main square so ideally located and the airport bus drops you off about a 10 minute walk away. Safe at night and well lit. The hotel itself is built with some glass flooring in the entrance and breakfast room to show ruins underneath which we thought was very cool! Staff were excellent and very attentive particularly at breakfast. Breakfast itself was plentiful with a buffet of cold meats, cheese, multiple bread/croissant types, loads of fruit, yoghurt, museli etc. and some baked goods. Then in addition to that you got to pick a hot dish which was things like eggs on toast, omelette, pancakes etc. plus coffee, tea and orange juice. We really enjoyed the breakfast! The room we picked was a deluxe king room and it was huge by hotel sizes. The balcony ran the whole way along one side and got the sun from lunchtime to end of the day. We sat out there in the evenings enjoying some wine. Large comfortable bed and some hanging space in the room. Fridge was actually a mini bar so be aware of that that there's not actually space to put your own stuff in unless you take all the mini bar contents out.

The only thing we didn't love was the light situation. 1. The curtains didn't meet so there were huge gaps of light shining in in the mornings and the sun rises really early. We used hair clips to try and clip them together but that wasn't ideal. 2. Whilst the tech for all the lights and air con was great, the blue light the panels provided was so bright we have to try and pile things in front of them to be able to sleep. These are such minor things but it really wasn't ideal for sleeping.

Central location, within walking distance to most attractions. Friendly young staff available 24/7. Modern rooms. Laptop-size safe in room. Only 4 rooms per floor - very intimate environment. Street is noisy at night with restaurants, but room can be made completely sound proof with excellent air-conditioning. Excellent buffet breakfast with free a la cart dishes. and you can arrange for a takeaway box if you leave early on a day trip.

No desk or regular table in the room, and too few electric outlets, this is a must in a 5-star hotel. Shower stall is separate from the bathroom, on the other side of the room, so no privacy. Outrageous charge of 1.50 euro per each Nespresso capsule - this should be free. All these are minor issues, but nonetheless affect an otherwise top-noch experience.

You get coffee machine, but you have to pay for the capsules. No tea in the room. Not regular for 5stars hotels. 225€ charge per room and they deal with 1.5€/coffee capsule. Kind of cheap?

An Unforgettable Stay – Highly Recommended! From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Before we even reached the property, the staff went above and beyond by coming to meet us and guiding us to our parking spot—a small but thoughtful gesture that set the tone for our stay. I had informed them in advance that I would be traveling with a small dog, and I was delighted to find that they had prepared something special for our furry companion. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a selection of amazing treats, along with thoughtfully provided food and water bowls. This level of attention to detail truly made us feel welcome. The room itself was immaculate—exceptionally clean, spacious, and incredibly cozy. Every detail contributed to a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. The hotel’s interior design and overall cleanliness were equally impressive, creating a luxurious yet comfortable ambiance. The staff was beyond amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality made a lasting impression on us. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The hotel offers both a buffet and an à la carte menu, providing a fantastic selection of delicious options to start the day off right. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an outstanding experience. The combination of incredible staff, top-notch service, beautiful interiors, and impeccable cleanliness makes it a true gem. We will definitely be coming back!

Outstanding breakfast with huge variety and the chef made excellent eggs and pancakes. The location is walking distance from just about everything. The staff was professional and extremely friendly. The beds were sooo comfortable. Our room was spotless and had a great shower.

Two very minor items which I feel could be improved. The bath towels were a bit small and the elevator would start beeping when four of us got in even though it said maximum 525 kg which we are not.

We loved our stay at this very centrally located hotel. The breakfast was great with the option of adding a hot breakfast to the buffet selection. The service was fantastic with the staff both friendly and professional. The hotel is either fairly new or renovated and very well looked after. We liked the look and feel of the hotel too with the lovely glass floor in the bar/dining/breakfast area showing archeological findings from 4 AD to the Ottoman rule.

We struggled with the aircon and woke at 1am/2am with the air very warm and stuffy. I thought that I am doing something wrong as the aircon goes on when the lights are on, but then after a while when the lights are off it stops working again. I should have asked for help earlier, but felt stupid that I can't manage a simple aircon panel. When I did phone the reception on the 3rd night at 2am they told me that I must inform them if the aircon must remain on and they switched it on again. Such a relief as I did not want to sleep with an open sliding door to the balcony. The light panel next to the bed is like a night light and I had to use a pillow to cover it at night as it made the room too light. A cover would be nice.
