Advantages: location is great: 3 minutes walk from the center. Staff is friendly. We had no breakfast, but the surroundings offer a variety of cafes and bakeries. The room is nice and spacious. Just some advice for tourists with cars: plan some time to use a covered parking in the surroundings. The hotel staff makes a reservation for you, and you have a discount in a parking nearby (5-7 min walk) for a 24h stay, but there it all depends on availability. Disadvantages: The rooms facing the street are noisy, you are in the heart of a town that hardly sleeps, but the noise is not unbearable. The bathroom (together with the WC) is rather tiny.

Excellent! Very central hotel with an ideal location close to the main attractions and meeting points for organized tours. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, quiet refrigerator, large wardrobe, a small terrace, and plenty of surfaces for storage. Convenient elevator and helpful staff. Daily cleaning service with prompt linen changes.

The shower was rather small with a fabric curtain. My room faced the street and was right in front of the hotel sign. Given Thessalonica's vibrant nightlife and the bright light from the "H" of the sign, I had to close the windows and curtains to be able to sleep.

The hotel has a fantastic location - just around the corner from Aristotle Square. My travel was related to business meetings in the city and attending the fair at Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre - it was great that all the places I had to visit were within a comfortable walking distance, and similarly it was very comfortable to go out in the evening - the famous Ladadika district with numerous restaurants was close at hand. The hotel and my room was perfectly clean, bed linen changed, perfect job of housekeeping.

It was not possible to iron my clothes - the hotel needs an iron and ironing board.

I liked the central position,the room is quite spacious,very clean,compliments to the housekeeping ladies. The staff is great,in particular Christos from the reception,smiling,welcoming,positive,a person you wish to see when you enter a hotel. They provide you with all usefull infos. You can also have a nice basic breakfast at cost of only 5e. Definitely recommendation to all and we ll be back!

Shower is a bit small but we didnt put focus on it as everything else is perfect.

Great location, right in Center, near historical markets, excellent view of the room (even we could see o slice of the Sea despite inner of the city and an impressive ship right "at the end of the street"), some enlightened airplanes sparkled night in the sky, small things that actually made our stay great.

The location was amazing, makes it 100% worth booking even though the hotel is not sparkly clean. The carpet looked dirty and so did our shower curtain, but if you’re looking for a budget hotel in the center this is the option for u. The staff was polite and the breakfast was pretty good given the fact that it only costs 5€. I would stay again and would recommend!

Hotel Amalia is located in the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the Aristotle Square. Our room was quite spacious, the bed was very soft and comfortable. I liked the balcony, it has a view on the city and the sea. The bathroom was very small. Cosmetics were available (soap and shower gel). The furniture were rather old but for us it wasn't a problem. There was wardrobe, seife and small fridge. The breakfast was small and there was not wide choice: bread, ham, cheese, olives, cornflakes, orange juice, coffee, tea, cakes and croissants. But the staff was very kind, nice and very helpful! In general our stay was great, and I would choose this hotel again.

There is no iron and no hair dryer (important information if you are planning bussiness travel). It is quite noisy if you get the room from the street side.

Affordable and comfortable stay in very centre of the city, close to all main services and atteactions. Room with all amenities, good airco, above all and sound proof without any outside noise, neither extreme heat. Breakfast was very complete, very friendly and helpful staff. Very fast reliable wifi. Absolute value for money!
