The location was incredible, walking distance to the beach. The room and all facilities of the hotel were incredibly clean and still very fresh and modern. My favourite area was the pool area. They have cleverly created little “booths” around the pool, where you are hidden from the lounger next to you by bushes. These little booths are paired up with beds. If you would rather sit in a larger groups, there are more open areas around the pool where you wouldn’t be split from your party. It was absolutely bliss. The little outside bar by the pool was also a wonderful addition to the stay, able to provide food for you to eat by the pool and cool beverages. I must also include that the hotel arranged a transfer from the airport on my arrival day, and again to the hotel for my travel home day. Absolutely faultless and so so so thankful for them for arranging it. They even offered to make up a little picnic for the transfer back to the airport for me as my collection was at 5am.

The food was incredible, but I would say the option available at buffet wasn’t great, therefore not worth the €25 per person. Despite that, like I say, the food taste was amazing. The buffet breakfast was amazing daily and lots of options available for that.

Mercure in Benidorm was a lovely place to stay. We stayed there for 7 nights that we could say "our home away from home." The hotel itself has a lovely garden that would make your day start gracefully. They keep their outdoors clean, that you can not even see any fallen leaves within the swimming pool area. The Bali-beds were beautiful but sadly we decided not to rent it due to weather circumstances. On the other hand, the beds would be worth the money if it were on a warmer and sunnier day. The entire hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. By the way, when you visit Mercure, make sure that you won't miss any of your breakfast😉.

We did not encounter any oriblem within our stay, but accidentally, I dropped something under the bed. While getting my stuff, I noticed that it was quite dusty and was not cleaned during our stay because I checked it every day since I noticed it.

Hotel was really fresh and clean, with nice design touches. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a mini-fridge which came in handy and we had a large balcony with seating area. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels replenished frequently. The pool area was lovely with lots of foliage/trees - each of the bed areas had little hedges for privacy which we really liked. Staff were friendly and welcoming, particularly the pool staff - Jose/Wander/Ali. Pool bar and breakfast had great choice and everything was delicious. Hotel in good location - walking distance from beach, old town and main Benidorm promenade, with supermarket round the corner. We were sad to leave the hotel at the end of our stay!

There aren't loads of beds, so you have to get there early. We missed out on the first day, so went to the beach instead, after that we found out they opened at 9 and so were just down at that time to get a bed. It wasn't ideal, but at least they didn't open at 7am! Regarding airport transfer, we were given mixed information on when we had to book by - one person said 24hrs in advance, then when we went to book they warned us that it should have been 48hrs in advance and we might struggle - accurate info would have been helpful to avoid confusion/anxiety. Considering it is a 4 star hotel, free bottled water in the room was expected, however you had to pay for this. Just some small things, on the whole the hotel was great!

The hotel is currently understaffed, which affects service quality across several areas. The pool area lacks loungers and queues at the bar are long. Breakfast was average — decent overall, but with a very limited salad selection. On a more positive note, the food in the restaurant was excellent, full of flavor and well-prepared. Unfortunately, portion sizes were small for the price. With some improvements in staffing, maintenance, and service, this hotel has the potential to offer a much better experience.

Service throughout the hotel could improve — the staff weren’t as attentive as expected for a 4-star hotel. They should concentrate more on hotel guests. Reception is too small.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Benidorm! From start to finish, the experience was lovely. The hotel is beautifully designed with a stylish touch that made it feel like a calm escape from the hustle and bustle of Benidorm. A special shout out to Rocío (apologies if the spelling is incorrect), she was amazing. Her local recommendations were spot on, and the thoughtful birthday message and chocolates left in the room made my day extra special. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We also really appreciated the wide variety of breakfast options each morning, something for everyone. The food and cocktails from the pool bar were delicious, and the outdoor area was so well thought out and relaxing. The location is great too, with easy access to lots of places without being in the centre of the noise. Overall, we had a brilliant time and would definitely stay again. Thank you to all the friendly staff for making our trip so enjoyable!

The only small thing I would have liked was an iron in the room, but the hotel does offer laundry services which is a good alternative.

Location, it was modern, lovely pool, quiet and friendly staff

There’s a strange set up for breakfast, the cups are at one end of the building and the coffee at the other. The food is also spread right out so you seem to be walking from one end to the other looking for what you want. The lifts are odd, there’s three which would be plenty but they don’t appear to be synced so you have to press all 3 buttons, it takes ages to arrive because everyone waiting on every floor also has to press every button then when you get on you stop at every floor to pick up someone who has got on another lift, I can’t remember ever seeing lifts running like this.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome to the hotel. The staff on reception and throughout the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. The room was lovely, bright and clean and had all the facilities I would have expected. The garden and pool area are spacious, comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was plentiful with enough choices to suit any palate. The food was fresh and hot food always hot. Check in and out were quick and easy and reception staff efficient and helpful. All in all staying in the Mercure Hotel was a really good experience and we would stay there again. We would also strongly recommend this hotel to other family and friends,

I didn’t find anything negative to say about this hotel.

The hotel was immaculate inside and out; even having the pool courtyard cleared of leaves and debris from the mature hotel gardens every morning. A little self-contained paradise away from the bustle of the surrounding area. Choice of food was great with plenty of options for both the buffet and a la carte menu. Staff are professional, very pleasant and extremely helpful.

There’s nothing to dislike about this property really. As they do allow dogs in the hotel, on this occasion this lead to a very noisy, albeit brief confrontation between 2 small pups in the reception area which startled a few people. This isn’t a reflection on the property but should be considered if you’re not comfortable around dogs.

The property is beautiful, it makes it so easy to relax! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel in general was very clean and all of the staff we encountered could not have been nicer! They were all so welcoming and friendly! Miguel on reception was great!! Juan and Wander the bar staff were also great! Loved everything and will deffo be returning! Enjoyed the hotel that much we extended our stay!

The gym could have more equipment - not a huge deal for me as I only used it twice in the 10 days I was there

This hotel was very good in every aspect.Maids cleaning rooms every day.Nice comfy bed.Hotel lovely & clean.Very good staff in all areas.3 Lifts so, not very long waiting.The shower was quite good but,went cold on a couple of occasions.The food was very good.A bit repetitive but,lots of other options to choose from.My only gripe would be that, the hot food needs to be a lot hotter.It was nowhere near it's optimum keep warm temperature.If you are a Sun Worshipper, this hotel is probably not for you as,large parts of the pool are shady most of the day, due it's splendid lay out &, tall trees surrounding the pool &, patio area.Very centrally located,for the old town.We would most definitely stay here again.
