Traveled to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. The staff had a special card and complimentary gift basket waiting for us! Service was excellent even with minor issues the staff was on it. The property is beautiful, rooftop was amazing, and everything was at our fingertips. Parking was affordable and I was able to charge my car in the parking deck (need more chargers). Thank you making my day special and making me a hero for booking this place for our anniversary!!!

Greenville is such a breathtaking city, and we chose it to celebrate our anniversary. Staying at the Embassy Suites Downtown Riverplace made the occasion feel truly special. Our suite was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a separate living area, sofa bed, and even a small wet bar with a fridge and microwave. Honestly, it felt more like a cozy apartment than a hotel room. The best part? We had a balcony overlooking the river, it added a romantic touch that made our stay unforgettable. Between the stunning location, the thoughtful amenities, and the atmosphere, it was the perfect choice for a memorable celebration. We’ll definitely be back. Breakfast was a highlight, made-to-order omelets and plenty of options to start the day, really delicious.

If I could make one small suggestion, it would be to improve the bathroom amenities. They were decent, but could be a bit more refined for a hotel of this category. I also noticed a little rust in the shower, which I’m sure is something maintenance could easily address. Room 629

The decor is beautiful and I felt safe the entire trip! The staff are friendly and the facility was clean. I Loved the location and it was in walking distance of many restaurants and stores. The area is very serene and calming. The property is one of the jewels of the city!

Difficulty with finding the check-in deck which was located in the 2nd floor. Also difficulty with navigating the parking deck and finding an elevator to get to the main level is the facility.

The location of the hotel is a 10 out of 10, close to the beautiful park, restaurants and stores. The rooftoop was amazing, nice drinks with a beautiful view. Rooms are so clean and bed extra comfortable that we didn't want to get up, breakfast with the omelette station was perfect with everything being really fresh.

The self parking garage was a bit confusing to locate and then trying to find the elevator to get into the hotel.

The place was exceptional.... they helped make my wife's birthday extra special.... I had a last-minute request, and they pulled through for me.... I'm very satisfied with the facility and stafff.... what was great? Knowledgeable staff, food,fast elevator, hot running water, efficient room layout, the facility, pool weight room, information provided, parking, happy hour... etc. What was not great ? The stay was not long enough...

you have to pay for parking and the front staff is ehh. not rude but not nice, no smiles, no greetings at all, won’t even acknowledge you standing there until you say something to them first and they truly didn’t have a care, definitely did not seem like they wanted to be there whatsoever.

The afternoon reception had a good selection of cheese, chips, snack mix, fresh veggies, etc. a fair selection of wine and bar drinks as well as sodas and or coffee. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices and cooked to order omelets. The woman cooking omelets kept cleaning constantly as she took orders and cooked. I saw her examine every plate before plating the omelets and rejected anything that didn't meet her expectations.

I loved the location, omlete to order other breakfast items were delicious and all the staff were professional and inviting. They were so helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our walk through city was peaceful and relaxing.

The price was a little expensive as we only stayed one night for our anniversary.

We thought the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The made to order omelet station was fantastic however, there was only one and the remaining breakfast was pretty much continental so there was a long line every morning for the one good thing, omelet station.

Would like to have seen another bar other than the rooftop and the Ruth Chris would’ve liked to just had a casual bar to where you could get a drink and casual clothing
