We loved everything from the rich history and famous guests who have stayed to the giant Christmas tree in the lobby. The holidays are the best time to stay.

My only gripe is that breakfast is a little steep at the hotel restaurant. I feel they should include at least a coupon for a discount on the buffet. We’re used to breakfast being included with our accommodations.

The Westin is my favorite hotel to stay in Greenville. Hubby prefers the modern decor of the AC Hotel; however, I much prefer the classic elegance of the Westin. Excellent location. Walking distance to almost everything and if not they off a car service. Front desk staff (and their fresh baked cookies) are warm and helpful. Bar staff friendly. Didn’t use spa but I may next time.

Biggest thing… Westin you need to establish a scent. I love walking into a beautiful light scented hotel. Wished there were a tub for those who prefer a soak… didn’t ask so perhaps you can request one. In-room coffee machine is very dinky (yes some of us don’t always want to schlep for a cup of java). Piano player could diversify and play some contemporary songs. To be fair we didn’t stay long enough to hear his entire set.

The Westin Poinsett is located in the heart of downtown Greenville and close to urban walking trails, restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. The hotel is 100 years old and beautifully restored keeping the charm of times gone by while providing modern conveniences, large comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, safes and quiet efficient in room refrigerators, a coffee maker with Starbucks coffee pods. The staff members are professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The lobby bar is comfortable with reasonable prices and the Spoonbread restaurant provides good breakfast choices that are well prepared.

Self -parking is behind the hotel in a public lot but many levels are reserved for monthly customers. This is a very minor inconvenience.

Pretty much everything. Service,location, and accommodations were very nice.

The particular room we stayed in you could hear plumbing noises in the bathroom from another room. We only noticed it the day we left so it didn’t effect our stay. Also there is a large gap under the entrance door which let in quite a bit of the hall light.

Centrally located, with a very friendly and helpful staff. Grateful to check in early!

It’s an older hotel lacking some more modern touches like walk-in showers. Didn’t bother me, but know what you’re getting when booking at the Westin.

Rooms were highly air conditioned and I turned it completely off at night. Piano Lounge was great for nightcap. Excellent buffet and also menu choices. Every thing within walking distance. Excellent staff and service. Pillows and bed covers were awesome.

Too cold in most areas, especially in bedroom.

Bell services and valet were very nice, helpful and accomodating. Short distance shuttle service was great.

Front desk check in person couldn't be bothered. Gave the impression that he would rather be anywhere but there. Not very welcoming, bad mood.

The room size was comfortable for two people, beds are very comfortable.

The lamps seem outdated and the room may need more convenient charging stations. The carpet in the rooms seems a little outdated.

Convenient to the attractions in downtown and to the things I was looking to do. Also located to a CVS. Access to parking garage was great. Staff were friendly and easy to interact with.

Air freshener in the room was overbearing. My room did not have a microwave.

Great place in the downtown, very kind staff, great breakfasts, space and clean room incl. fridge. Perfect in all ways!

I was missing a swimming pool but I knew this hotel doesn't have it. :)
