The apartment is very close to the Zanzibar ferry terminal, and that is the reason why we chose it. We only needed to take a short walk to the apartment. The location is great, and we could easily walk to or take a taxi to where we need to be. Breakfast is served across the road at the casino. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment was much more than what we expected; it was very clean and spacious. The views across the city are fantastic. All the amenities you would need incl. fully air-conditioned, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and microwave. Netflix and Wi-Fi worked great.

The bed was very firm -we are used to medium firmness . The 4th room was supposed to be office but for 8 of us it was converted to bedroom - which was fine Thicker black out curtains would help but it only bothered some of us. Swimming pool is not brilliant and gym would be good addition . The positives outweigh the negatives

The hotel overall was amazing. Especially if your coming with a family. You get a nice, spacious dublex apartment. It was lovely had so much space and it was just as surprising. Very surprising since some hotel dont show up to expectations but fairview did. Service was lovely and quick. The food was the best food ever with the beat restaurant. Halal - certified, healthy, tasty, good 4 kids and its close to the marine transport to zanzibar so big ups to that. Near the train station if your planning to go to a safari like to mikumi national park. And a 20-30 min deive from / to the airport. This is one of the best hotel apartments ever in tz. Links to tanzania Train station - not more than a 15 minute walk, to go to places like mikumi or other places Plane - not more then a 25 minute ride from/to the airport. Boat - very close to the boat not more then a 3 minute walk.

Can get very loud!! Especially at night when you can hear people speaking on speakers and other things. Other then that the hotel is amazing

Beds were comfortable, view was nice, location was excellent, apartment was spacious, breakfast buffet at casino was very nice, staff was pleasant and helpful.

Lights over sinks in bathrooms did not work, shower grout was moldy, leaking under bathroom sink, stove/oven was not hooked up when we arrived (corrected by stsff) no shower curtains in master baths (corrected by staff), no pool towels available, only 3 bath towels provided for 4 of us ( corrected by staff).

The location for us was close to the port as we had to board the ferry to Zanzibar and this was walking distance the staff was friendly and helpful they even facilitated our very late check in as we were travelling by road. I would stay at this place any time again and would recommend Fairview luxury apartments anytime

We stayed here Tuesday and then Saturday January, 2023 and the apartments were phenomenal. We're particular with places we stay in and these apartments were beyond spacious, quiet, beautiful, clean and about 20 minutes from the airport and 2 minutes walking distance to the ferry. Wifi and air conditioning all over was a plus. Delivery of food is about 15 minutes from time of order. Messages I sent were replied to within 5 minutes. I'll definitely stay here anytime I'm in Dar. Highly recommended! You won't regret it.

We have stayed many different places in Dar ES Salaam, but this place is our absolutely favorite one. It is clean, spacious and perfectly located.

The breakfast choice could be better: Additionally, some customers were smoking in the restaurant, which is a totally turnoff. Please consider putting swimming pool beds and towels in the pool area.

The location and the price

We had our room on the 16th floor and the electricity stopped working. They moved us to another apartment lower which was not ready therefore they had to move us a second time to the 6th floor. It was a major downgrade due to the views and also our clothes were stuck in the washing machine for 1 day because the electricity went out

Very spacious and clean. It had great views and someone came to clean every day. The location was convenient and it was easy to get to places, especially the port for Zanzibar. Minor point-the lighting in the bathroom could be better. The facilities were great including a washing machine and Netflix! We would book again and would recommend staying there.

All was good. the breakfast was well arranged and the apartment is well spaced and clean. The quality of furniture in there is the best, Hope to visit again.
