Friendly staff, clean room, 2 AC's (!), late check out was possible, breakfast was basic but good, very good price for what you get! 24h reception, close to the beach, would recommend a lot!

I know that this is very common in many countries, but I hate when hotels don't have bedsheets for the blankets. So they provide a thin sheet AS the blanket, but it was March and got quite cold at night, so they provide blankets to put on top but no bedsheet for that. There's just no way to not get in contact and I doubt that they get washed regularly as they are quite thick. Maybe that's just concerning me..

A charming and clean hotel with excellent value for money. The hotel staff is great and patient, every request was answered immediately. We stayed in the family villa which was cleaned every day (except Sunday) Every day put shampoo and clean towels. The 3 air conditioners in the villa worked great. The pool is clean and tidy but there is no lifeguard. A stunning view from the lawns,breakfast bar and pool complex. In addition, a good price list of taxis and attractions at the hotel reception,we purchased Jeep safari through. There is strong Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel and each family villa has its own router. I should note that there were USB sockets in both rooms so there was no need for a UK power adapter for phones. Bus stations for both directions is just in front. Overall we had an amazing stay, even before the stay there were quick answers from the staff for every question through the booking chat mechanism -this is always a welcome service.

*There is not enough variety at breakfast and it repeats itself from day to day. *It's a shame that there are no stairs from the villas complex directly into the hotel, but there is a sandy bypass path. *The balconies of the villas are a bit neglected and dusty. *The transition to the nearest beach is uncomfortable and a bit rocky *The hotel kiosk is quite expensive.

Every aspect of our stay at Helios was superb, from communication before arrival to its excellent location, cleanliness and courtesy of staff. We had a superior 1 bed sea view (front) apartment with wonderful views of the sunset. We opted to pay for breakfast 4 out of our 8 days and found the selection to be more than adequate with a good variety. While we didn’t cook in the apartment it was equipped with everything you may need, though recommend taking scissors, a tea towel & oven gloves. The mattresses and sofa beds were so comfortable that my sons have been asking if we can buy one! Shampoo, shower gel and toilet roll was provided and topped up daily. The aircon was very efficient. There were always sun beds available around the pool and the saw only 1 cat a handful of times) despite reviews suggesting otherwise. There is a laundry room available at a cost of €4 per load (€3 for drier and €2 for detergent - we took our own). Rooms were made up daily and towels replaced. We loved the fact it was on a quiet beach but within east reach of livelier places. We hired a car and enjoyed eating out at local restaurants as well as driving to Aphrodite baths, Troodos mountain area and Latchi. Highly recommend Melitza Taverna for best mezze experience and Pepperoni pizzeria for handmade pizza! We would happily stay at Helios Apartments again and cannot recommend them highly enough for quality, clean accommodation at a fair price in a prime location.

Nothing to fault.

Pool was clean and a good size for the number of guests. The room was cleaned thoroughly, daily. Staff were very pleasant. The property is very close to a lovely sandy/rocky beach with the most amazing sunsets. The breakfast yoghurt was delicious, truly. The self catering facilities were good for snacks and light meals- very new appliances and again, very clean. Beach towel from the hotel was one euro and you can change them daily- save on suitcase space!

The food. The breakfast was poor- awful coffee and the fruit juice was from a box dispenser. There was no water. There was almost no variation in food choice and it wasn't a wide choice. The pool bar / kiosk food was dreadful and overpriced. We ate there a few times hoping our choices would be better than the last but the pizza, the salad, the toastie and even the chips were bad. The coke was a small glass mixer bottle- no fizzy drinks on tap. Oh, and not a tea bag in sight so bring some if you are a tea drinker. I would book a room with outside space or balcony in future.

Really helpful friendly staff. The location was good (quiet) The towels were changed every day, and bins emptied.. Rooms were clean and bright and had everything needed for a self-catering holiday. No problem getting a sunbed round the pool.. Gorgeous Sunsett and 2 minutes walk you arei on the beach.

The one bedroom apartment isn't suitable for four people., 2 adults and 2 small children yes but not 2 x 15 year old boys as the bed in the living room is just an L shape couch. The pool is quite small but adequate. However, it was on the warm side and could definitely do with being a bit colder.

The staff were all really friendly and chatty. Any issue with my hotel was dealt with super promptly and resolved well. The food and drinks at the bar were lovely. The hotel pool was really nice and quiet, even when we went during the summer peak season! The hotel is right next to the local beach which also has a beach bar. This is great during the day, it can get noisy there at night and we could hear it from our room, but it was tolerable. On weekdays the beach bar closed at 10pm which was fine. We booked the sea view room which was great because we could walk straight out to the beach from our hotel room, we were also right below breakfast and the pool so it was easy to go to and from the room.

The location is tricky. There is a bus stop nearby but it can take an hour to get into the new town and 1 hour 30 to get into the old town because of transfers. Taxis are expensive in the area and often times hard to book on apps, so if you need a taxi for something like an airport transfer make sure you ask the reception to book this for you. We were told that we couldn't bring water to the hotel bar that we had bought from the shop next door, but the hotel does have their own bar at reception where you can buy a pack of 6 waters for very cheap. There was no night entertainment at the hotel but there were facilities you could use such as a ping pong and pool table to keep you occupied.

Very clean and intimate hotel with nice staff, a great swimming pool and overall a very good vibe. There are a few nice restaurants in walking distance and theres a bus station right outside the hotel, which makes commuting pretty easy. We will definitely come back!

It could have been helpful to have a microwave in the room, in addition to the stove and oven. Also, a small playground or some swings will make a really nice addition. As written in some of the reviews, the beach next to the hotel is very pretty but not suitable for children, as it is rocky and the waves are high.

A beautiful location, seaview, a quiet promenade just across the lawn. Wonderful sunsets. Close to the beach. Everyday professional cleaning, very clean. Very nice and helpful staff. There was a problem with electricity in the original room, so I got immediately a better one. Quiet, safe place. Bus stop right across the street. All you need is available at the reception desk🙂. A great holiday place. I will be back!

Coffee, tea. Breakfast, typical for 2*, not 3*. The hotel bar. May be not the best choice for people who do not enjoy the company of kids, even when they are taken care of. Cold white light. Cold and rough sea - beautiful, impossible to swim, though.

The Hotel was as expected. Not the best located hotel but anything is within reach. The Breakfast is good and filling for 7.5 euro good price. The rooms were nice and spacious and clean. The hotel pool is also nice and usable.

The matrasse was terrible soft. I've had back pain for several days. I have mentioned at first day at the reception but seems like they did no care. They told me they will change but never did. Also the hotel arranged pick up taxi cab was an old a dirty smelly workers minivan at least 35 years old. Back trip to the airport we reather take BOLT app. The cleaner stuff is really friendly but the reception and bar staff in the pool are very bored and not friendly.

Lovely rooms that are great value for money, found it very spacious for the two of us. Great location right next to a beach with a nice beach bar with sun loungers available. Good variety of options for food in the area too with Indian and Greek food right beside and Pizza and Steakhouse within walking distance or a pub very close for pub grub.

Not a problem for us but if you are looking for a very lively area to stay in this wouldn't be it. You will need to get a bus into paphos or coral bay although the the bus stops are right outside making it a very convenient location in my opinion. Breakfast options are limited but eggs available every day and either bacon or sausages plus the usual cold cuts, cereal and pastry so it does the job.
