The location is excellent if you are looking for a quiet gateway. We love the swimming pool even though I am a beach person. The breakfast is decent featuring tasty scrambled eggs. The rooms are clean and more than comfortable, with a great view of the sunset. All the choices we had for lunch and dinner were great.

It is not so much that I didn't like anything; it's mainly about attention to detail. For example, the shampoo in the rooms, the hairdryer, and the complimentary fruits could use better presentation. Also, be aware of mosquitoes.

Great location, excellent view, clean and everything was brand new in the room , nice design , great food in breakfast , also in the poool bar for lunch and at the litharaki restaurant for dinner. The pool area is very quiet and relaxing It is great value for money totally recommend!

While the pool is great and quiet it was very warm and the sunbeds could be upgraded, their matresses were a bit old.

We have stayed at Vratchia twice before. All rooms have great views but we prefer the front of the hotel looking straight out to sea. We requested one of these rooms & the owners confirmed by email that this was possible. The apartment was great. A small kitchen with all the necessary utensils, bathroom with shower over the bath, a living room/diner with two comfortable sofas & table, and a lovely bedroom! Comfortable bed, ample wardrobes & drawers, dressing table with mirror & hair dryer. Best of all was the fantastic view over the Med, then out onto the balcony to soak up the morning heat & full sun in the afternoon! Wonderful! (This was a Standard room which will be upgraded in the near future.) The sunsets are spectacular & in April at 19.15 your balcony is the best place to enjoy it! The hotel offers all meals if required, but this stay we ate breakfast on the balcony & dinner out & about. However in the past we've eaten here & the food was great. The pool area is superb with a bar & food available & ample loungers & seats. The Housekeeping staff are great. Bed sheets were changed twice, floors swept & mopped, towels changed as required - everything you'd expect in a first class hotel. There is a lovely walk along the cliff tops on a good surface, approx 2.5 miles to the end & back which gave us a good excuse to over indulge in food & drink all holiday long! The hotel is on the outskirts of Kissonegra which is about 8 miles from Paphos. A hire car is perfect but the local bus service runs at the end of the road, 500m from the hotel. Vratchia is an adults only venue so it is a quiet, relaxing place to spend a week. We love this hotel & can't praise the friendly staff & the facilities available. Can't wait to visit again.

This is one of the best Appart Hotels that I've stayed in. The staff couldn't do enough, the room was very roomy with a large master bedroom and sitting area. The view from the hotel pool, especially at Sunset, was amazing. Even though there is a public walkway around the pool area, it never felt like there was as it was always quiet. The pool was one of the best I've had at a hotel. Never cold and for the majority of the day you could have the pool area to yourselves. We only had breakfast on the last morning as we preferred to do our own thing, but it was great value and the views from the restaurant of the bay were brilliant. We had a car to travel around and it might be a limiting location if you rely on public transport.

Everything was great

There is not enough praise I could lavish upon the Vrachia and her staff. Kirsty & co thoroughly looked after us for the 2 weeks we stayed, making sure we were comfortable, taken care of, well fed and watered. The facilities are fantastic, beds are comfy, rooms are spacious and shower / bathroom are very well equipped. Breakfast was small but had more than enough for us every morning, and the lunch and dinner options were very good and unbelievably tasty. Genuinely - the best food we had during our stay and we ate out a fair bit too! The pool area is wonderful and well staffed and we were always well looked after whilst lounging. The hotel made it easy to rent a car and pointed us in all directions for anything we needed. Bus services are easy to access and use. Cannot recommend here enough, thank you all so much for making our trip magical. We will miss you all! P.s. Kirsty is the sweetest and kindest lady. Thank you so much for looking after us and your thoughtful gifts.

The only thing I would say is that the walls are thin. Every morning we would be woken up by doors slamming and cleaners cleaning. Bring earplugs!

Gorgeous location on a headland with great sea views and spectacular sunsets. We had 2 bed ground floor apartment which whilst fairly basic in terms of furnishings was spacious with comfortable beds and a lovely wrap round balcony with sea views in both directions. Housekeeping was good as were the breakfasts. Staff were friendly and so were the hotel cats ! As mentioned in previous reviews the pool area was particularly attractive. The recently completed Kissonerga Coastal Promenade ,straight out of the hotel, was great for a morning/evening stroll. Being early season not all local facilities were open but the Harmony restaurant (walkable) is a gem. Highlight in terms of trips was the drive over the top to Latsi and the spectacular hill/coastal waymarked walk which starts at the Bath of Aphrodite.

As mentioned above the apartment could have been made a bit more luxurious in terms of furnishings,decor,lighting etc A bit more kitchen equipment would also have been useful. A wider range of TV channels to include sport would have been appreciated

The pool was beautiful, especially at sunset. The restaurant food was great, and the apartment had good facilities for cooking etc The bed was huge and comfortable. There was a nice selection of books and games in the lobby A special shout out to the lady at the pool bar, her hospitality was absolutely top notch, she really made that area her own and was clearly working non stop for guest comfort.

The apartment was a bit tired, it looks like they are refurbishing bit by bit and in our apartment it was pre refurb so some of the furniture had seen better days. The maid service came every day at 9:30 and there was no 'no service please' door hanger so we were planning some longer lie ins and we didn't get them. A small complaint but one easily solved!

We love our Junior Suite Room — it’s spacious, clean, and offers a full ocean view. We also really enjoyed the Litharaki Restaurant, which is open from 12 noon to 10 p.m. We had almost all our dinners there because the food was so delicious. The location is also great — it’s within walking distance to the bus station and a mini market, making it easy for us to get to town or buy anything we needed. The staff are amazing and very accommodating.

However, the breakfast could use some improvement. There aren’t many options, and I think it would be best to offer two types of meat — perhaps chicken and pork — since not all tourists eat pork. Also, there was only one staff member working in the restaurant. Maybe it’s because it’s low season, but during busy times, he was overwhelmed. One night when we were dining there, the restaurant was especially busy, and guests had to wait a long time for their food or for tables to be cleared. I hope more staff can be added so he doesn’t have to handle everything on his own.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, offering a stunning view—especially during sunset, which was truly unforgettable. The room was impressively spacious, more like a small apartment, complete with a separate bedroom, which made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was average—adequate to start the day, though nothing particularly extraordinary. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would happily return, especially for the incredible views and ideal location.

While the room itself was large and functional, it would benefit from some light renovation, particularly in the bathroom, which feels a bit dated. A refresh would definitely enhance the overall experience.

Beautiful scenery. Breakfast was very good and options changed on a daily basis. No noise at all, and the parking lot was extremely convenient. Cleaning and reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. On top I really admired that the hotel trapped and neutered the cats at their area, besides providing them with food and water. It was such a relief to know that they are taking care since having multiple strays fighting was a common scene in the other hotels nearby, and watching that can cause discomfort. As tourists in Cyprus and given the stray cats overpopulation situation, I can't recommend it enough to support with carrying food/water while exploring and contributing to animals services, even though locals are keen to help. I left food and spray anti mites with the hotel staff, hope those support during the low season time. I totally recommend Vrachia and will be happy to come back. Thank you again.

I consider it an outdated local law but no public pool is allowed after 7 pm. I'm documenting for awareness of future travelers, but please be aware that even villas with private pools are considered public (if rented), thus cannot be used. Too bad, I really enjoyed the pool at Vrachia and would love have spent the late evenings there :)
