George & Grant made it a wonderful stay. Two hard working lads there. All the team were super hard working and friendly. The breakfast is incredible and it's cooked to order. I had a few beers in the rear bar and was able to watch a football match through the window while enjoying a pint. The whole stay was 10/10 and we will definitely return. The room had everything we needed and they even left a small bag of treats for the dog. We could have our dog in the bar as well as for breakfast.. But to make it easier for us we left him in the room when we went for breakfast. The room was warm and the shower was powerful. Excellent location. To the left a lovely walk through the water ways a Nd boating lake,to the right the down, the piers and main attractions.

There's actually nothing we didn't like.

Our 1st day was amazing nothing was too much trouble food was great breakfast was superb. The staff were exceptional especially Tina who was amazing couldn't of asked for more .Lesley and the 2 guys were fantastic didn't get all the names. Totally fab with our boxer JC . super thankyou xx

On our departure we had different staff after a bit of a frosty welcome from the older waitress ordered Imperial breakfast and kippers lady said do you want bread and butter because of the bones after a long wait the kippers were disgusting and the other waitress went on to say sorry about the wait but the kippers were stuck to pan the bread came soaked with obviously burnt oil from kippers! On checking out different receptionist impolite didn't ask if we enjoyed our stay or anything looked disinterested felt a little upset after the amazing welcome we had received from Tina ,Lesley the man who I think was the manager and the other wonderful chap who was so polite and welcoming.

A lovely old fashioned seaside hotel. Rooms were nice, they've obviously been refurbished fairly recently. The Terrace restaurant was great - sitting 'outside' with a great view having a lovely meal. Staff helpful.

Parking next to the hotel is fairly limited in terms of number of spaces and size, and you need to be a very skilled driver to get in and out! the car park over the road is extortionate - about £22 for 24 hours - disgrace. The old style lift - although quirky, is a bit scary!

Breakfast was excellent every day - good choices and plenty of it - Fruit juice was lovely and fresh and the English breakfast was superb Evening meals were outstanding to and a good choice - food always hot and nicely presented - Supported by great friendly staff - nothing was any trouble for the staff - 11/10 Our room with a sea view was nice clean and tidy just a little bit small room 231 - we had an extra night in room 234 which was bigger and better - but both rooms had nothing to complain about - Super

Nothing at all - everything was spot on and our stay was made so welcoming every day - staff totally brilliant Gill Tina Skye Adam Teena - everyone amazing :-)

Breakfast in the Terrace room was pleasant and faultless, nothing is a problem for their excellent members of staff, like wise Diner was taken in the Cafe Cru, no faults there, a very pleasing comfortable high quality restaurant, all staff members give a happy and friendly welcome, top marks. Our room was sea view 2nd floor twin, we gladly recommend this hotel.

my twin bed was a little to firm, my wife was happy with her bed, Plus the Door was sticky to open and close and could do with a little attention. and that is just being nit picky.

Good location for the event I came to Great Yarmouth to attend. I had a Seaview room and having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was refreshing. The breakfast was plentiful and great quality products well cooked and presented. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made the stay feel special. Single room was nice and clean and had all the amenities I needed.

I'm sure the building and lift is listed but maybe you could look to modernise it maybe some automatic doors. But I have to admit it was fun using the lift with the authentic manually operated doors.

Imperial Hotel has a good location on the sea front and provides a pleasant and comfortable home from home in Yarmouth, a town I did not know until finding I had a little extra time to spend in Norfolk after weekending in Cromer a few miles up the coast. Certainly, looking around the town I saw it was indeed the best place that could have been chosen for an overnight stay there. Breakfast was nicely served and made a good start to a further day touring in the area. I also had the chance to see, without committing to a long stay, the town from which some of my ancestors supposedly had hailed years ago, but had never before visited. It seems my mother's father, whom I did not know personally because he was not blessed with long life, had come from there, but connection to the place was lost because he joined the merchant navy over 100 years ago and never returned to live there!! The staff at the hotel and the manager were very gracious people who provided an excellent dinner on arrival in the evening, and the room was very comfortable with a great view of the sea.

No problems with the hotel, but I was particularly advised by the people with whom I had been staying the nights before to be careful about going into the big amusement park that is hard by the hotel on the sea front. This may have been because it has a lot of slot machines for the hard gamblers amongst us, and one might be tempted to overspend here! Yarmouth itself is still a working port and so rather disconcertingly juxtaposes the picturesque with the strictly utilitarian, and you never quite know what you are going to see next if a complete stranger as I was. I did notice that there was a fairly long way to go to find a convenience store for items needing to be replenished purely for personal use!

The property is old fashioned but I like that, rooms are more modern and I love the fact that the hotel tries to be environmentally conscious as possible ie heat pump etc, Overall staff were very friendly and I can’t wait to go back there. Thank you Imperial Hotel for making our stay great.

There is only two things I can say I was disappointed about and that the shower took an age to warm up and not much choices for vegetarian/vegan food on the menu

A very comfortable room with good sized wet room. Very pleasant reception and staff. We checked out the restaurant and other local restaurants and this hotel was actually less expensive, but with excellent food and service. Well cooked and presented breakfast. The staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful and I have booked to stay there again. We didn't have a sea view, the view over the town was just as interesting.

Nothing. I enjoyed staying here.

Staff and hotel were lovely. They went above and beyond.

Great Yarmouth what a pit and the people no thanks we won't be back. It's dying a slow and horrible death. Also hotel bar was not at front and that was a shame. Poky at the rear with awful view of a clapped out sports ground. Windows on hotel windows had no safety catches and glad I didn't have children I wouldn't have been able to leave them alone in the rooms.
