The property is stunning. It’s my third time visiting Florence and my first stay outside the city center and I can say it was by far the best choice. The gardens and all the the small places around them you can enjoy a glass of wine are absolutely beautiful and so quiet and peaceful, it really makes no sense to stay within the city walls for the same price. They also have a shuttle that takes you to the city and back in about 10 min and from the drop off place you have a maybe 10 min walk to the city center so you are not missing out on anything and you are not tied down to using a taxi or a personal car. You get the best of both worlds: a true tuscan experience and views and an easy access to Florence. I will definitely come back.

Location was fantastic as it was close to the city, but far enough to be quiet. Daily breakfast was excellent. The shuttle service to the city is very useful. The staff was very helpful in booking taxis for us when needed. One day, we had an early tour and they even packed us breakfast bags to go.

We had booked the Annex room for our kids and it only had an exterior entrance. I wish that was made clear in the description.

Very nice location, I’ve been there for the second time, the food is amazing, the staff as well. The room has been very nice, clean and quiet, the staff is always eager to help, they have shuttles to the city centre. The location of the hotel is up above the city and it offers an amazing sunset view.

The shuttle service was excilent. Beautiful villa with a magnificent garden and view. Perfect location, very helpful and friendly staff, especially Mario and Sarah. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast and lunch were always delicious.

It was a little bit uncomfortable position of the bed in my narrow room.

This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. The grounds are exquisite with lots of different areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Parking was easy, just in the front of the hotel. Staff were exemplary. Breakfast was excellent as were the two evening meals we enjoyed there. The courtesy bus into Florence is a great facility; although it ends at 8pm, it was no problem to get a taxi back later in the night and usually cost around £10.00/€13 The hotel is extremely dog friendly, too. This was the second time my husband had stayed. We really hope to return a third time.

Location is nice and quiet, and walking thru the beautiful gardens adds to the serenity of the location, very pleasant and restful. Far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Florence, which tends to be crowded, but an easy walk to the sites in Florence, or, the hotel provides a shuttle to two key spots. Location was exactly as we had hoped...perfect! Even though so close to the city of Florence, looking out over the area resembles the more rural parts of Tuscany.

We relied upon GPS to get to the hotel, that didn't work too well, as the road that GPS wanted us to take fairly close to the hotel was closed, so we circled thru very narrow and stone-walled roads several times, eventually pulled over and called the hotel for better directions, I believe it was Cindy who answered, she was superb & calming, and got us to the hotel...we were coming from the south, if we came from the north it would not have been a problem, so a suggestion is providing detailed and good directions to avoid ZTLs and make arrival a much easier process than what we experienced.

Stunning villa on a lot of acreage with tons of olive trees and an incredible garden. Such a magical place. We booked for our engagement trip and it was absolutely perfect. Great breakfast outside, great dinner, comfiest bed and nice and quiet rooms. As always, it’s Florence in the summer time so be sure to bring mosquito repellant. The staff was very friendly and the shuttle into Firenze saved us the stress of driving.

Nothing about the villa, but if you are driving, maps may have you go through a ZLT area. The receptionist told us the ones outside of the city center are restrictions for older cars, and if you have a newer car you should be fine. But just double check with them cause we were driving for ages trying to find a path that didn’t go through one but to no avail.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Agape for 10 days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. My room was a masterpiece of stylish design, combining elegance with comfort, and the cleanliness was impeccable—easily one of the best I’ve experienced. Hotel Agape is not just a place to stay; it’s a retreat for guests seeking tranquility and charm. The convenience of their shuttle service made exploring Florence a breeze, as they arranged transportation to all the main tourist areas. This thoughtful service made my trip even more enjoyable. If I ever return to Florence, there’s no doubt that Hotel Agape will be my home again. I can’t recommend this gem of a hotel highly enough!

Nothing - Everything was perfect

I cannot say enough about this place! It was exactly what I wanted for my time in Florence and Tuscany. The property is gorgeous The staff is amazing. There was a train strike, they helped us figure it out and made sure we were ok. The restaurant although very good, didn’t change while we were there. We were there during the week, not sure when the menu changes The bartender makes an amazing Negroni! ( Hail Queen of the Negroni!) They do have transportation to Florence so even though you are out of city central you have access and the view is worth the extra time ! This was one of our favorite places

We wanted to stay in an Italian Villa and the hotel is just that. Lovely large room with a window that overlooked the fountain lawn. The bathroom was not large but functional. Breakfast had a good selection including fresh made juices. The automatic coffee machine did a good job as well. The hotel is a distance from the city centre - we didn't walk from the hotel but rather opted for the shuttle which was available during certain time on call with the last pick at 8pm. There are 2 drop off/pick up the second being the closest to the city about 15min walk. The hotel restaurant was recommended to us by some other guest but we didn't try it opting to discover the local places near the drop off. The staff were very engaged and aways helpful.
