It is very close to the metro, bus and RER, but also at 15-20 min walking from the Arch of Triumph and the Palais des Congres. The staff was friendly and helpful. You have a Miniprix just across the street if you need water or snacks. Also many restaurants around. The place, tiny as many in Paris, is clean, the room was cleaned every day, they will change the towels only if you leave them on the floor. If you are coming from CDG Airport and if you are more than 2, it’s more convenient to take a taxi. Or you can take the RoissyBus that connects the airport with Paris, it will leave you at Opera station from where you can take the metro.

I would have like to have breakfast included in the price I’ve paid as it wasn’t a small amount, but this is a mater of choice.

The hotel is located in a residential area right next to a metro station (Pereire on line 3), which gives quick access to the city centre and all the sights. It's quite rare in France in my experience to get tea and coffee-making facilities in a room, but this room had a kettle, teabags, coffee and milk sachets, so that was an unexpected bonus. The room was clean, comfortable and good value for money considering the location. The room was small, but I only needed a single, as I was travelling solo. The bed actually seemed a little wider than a standard single.

There was a little noise from the road (my room had a window onto the main street), but this didn't prove problematic.

This is a cute older hotel. Located in the 17th arr. the view from our room was our favorite part. Reception was nice and friendly. The lobby was clean and offered flavored water. The metro is right around the corner and a large market is across the street. There are a few close restaurants to choose from. Our room had a bath tub.

A couple of things should be noted. The shower enclosure in our room leaked bad. We tried several ways to keep the floor from getting wet, to no avail. The room had a bad smell when we walked in, but we opened the large windows and the fresh air helped. This room was 150 sq ft., which is small, but it was all we needed since we only slept and showered in the hotel and spent all day out and about the city. The overall appearance of the hotel is worn and I think that’s why the room had a smell because the carpeting might need to be changed. It was clean, but over time smells get trapped in Fabric and carpet. It was a little noisy but we used earplugs and there is little the hotel can do about traffic noise and people on the streets.

A terrific choice and definitely a great value for the price in Paris. We booked a double room for one night, and we got exactly what we were looking for: A very good location right next to a metro station (with many shops around), and a comfortable sleep in a cute, clean room. We also enjoyed a lovely hot shower after a pretty tiring day, with full water pressure (5th floor) - that's not always the case in small hotels.

No need to be fussy now, this is obviously not a 5-star luxury resort, but a small, and very decent Paris hotel. We would definitely come back.

The location was wonderful with good bus and metro access. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was OK. There were many offerings but the things that should have been hot were on warming platters but weren't very warm. They would have been better off serving the usually bread assortment and coffee rather than trying to hit the scrambled eggs and sausages which weren't very good. The fruit cup had been sitting too long and I ate only one piece then gave up. There are lots of restaurants right there where you can get a coffee and pastry for not much money.

the hotel is a small nice cozy place. They offer good breakfast for the money , and the staff were really friendly and smiley ( something not common in Paris 😂). Its location is just perfect as there is a bus stop next outside the hotel door and metro and an RER station just close by . I recommend this hotel, and will be back in case I pass by paris again

Great location, 15 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe. Metro station just downstairs, nice restaurants and supermarket close by. The room has a mini fridge if you need to store something, specially if travelling with kids.

The room was clean and tidy but definitely too small. The bed good quality but you barely have space to walk but again, it’s a good place to sleep.

It was located beside the perreire metro stop, which was great. The location was great, only 20 mins walk to the arc de triomphe and champs elysees. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. There were USB chargers in the light switches on the bed which were great.

It's close to the road and can hear some noise at night from people passing by or the local restaurant. It wasn't bad and we didn't mind it all. Some people may not like that.

The location was great! Mkt across street, saddled between restaurants, ATM across street, Taxi stand, busses, Metro around any corner. I paid close to $800/5 days for a tiny room -no shower. Asked for larger room, no additional fee; was told my room was a, "comfo!rt room." Think I overpaid, truly - breakfast was good; fruits, eggs, rolls, lovely dining room. Excellent staff, nice hotel, maid service good. Get laundry down by 9:00; laundry returned that afternoon.

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 153 No shower, tiny room, tiny window: This room has a door, within a door. You go thru one door (that closes) down a dark hallway (light does come on), then to your room (it was kinda spooky) The daily rate still is a question as to what rate buys a room other than a, "comfort room." Does anyone want a less than comfortable room? I wonder. Smile Hotel was good but I'd try another when I revisit Paris. Oh! the restaurant to the right is great and Lina's on next block, (out the door, pass ATM, taxi's - its there!)
