Lovely family running the place, exactly what I expected for the price, except the beautiful garden was more than what I expected! With shared toilets and showers it's not a luxury stay, but we just needed a comfortable, affordable, and safe place to lay our heads after long days in London so it was perfect. The location was super convenient for getting around the city, very close to a major tube station, but far out enough from central London that we weren't feeling overwhelmed by a crush of people when we left for the day. Lots of coffee shops, food, and groceries within a few blocks, and the building itself is extremely charming from the outside.

It's an old building in Britain with limited ventilation during a heat wave so things can get really stuffy, but that was not exactly a surprise. We bought a few small fans from a local Poundland for the room which helped a lot. My only comment would be we tried to close the shades to keep the sun from heating up the place while we were out but came home every day to the shades wide open, so cooling the room after that greenhouse effect all day took some doing. However, I know these 30 ˚+ temperatures are not typical for the UK — coming from consistently warmer summer climes we have different habits to keep our spaces cool, including keeping rooms dark.

The building itself is so pretty, especially the garden in the front! It’s very close to the tube so you can walk to it in 6 minutes. The town itself is so cute and there are numerous restaurants and shops to go to again within a 6 minute walk. The neighborhood is so cute! The room itself had plenty of towels, bathroom amenities, a fan, some breakfast snacks, a mini fridge, as well as bowls and mugs. A kettle too with tea and hot cocoa! We were also able to leave our bags after checkout so we didn’t have to carry them all day which was super appreciated.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like! You’re not right in the city center but that’s the reason it’s not as expensive. Just be prepared to take the tube for a while to see main sites.

Superb location right opposite Ealing Broadway station, made it easy to get anywhere in London in no time. The building itself is old and full of character, and the manager was friendly and helpful. To make up for the lack of in-house breakfast, a selection of cereals and pastries was provided.

While still clean and functional, the building is in need of a refresh - this is acknowledged in the joining docs and in some ways contributes to its character. However the door locks are rather flimsy and I worried they might not resist a strong shoulder.

There is no longer any breakfast at this hotel. They did give us a voucher for one breakfast (on a three night stay) at a nearby cafe, but we did not end up using it.

Mostly, I would have liked better communication as to what was on offer. Management went out of its way to make sure we knew the room had no ensuite bathroom, which I appreciate. But they were much less open about the fact that breakfast service has been off since the pandemic, or that parking came with a hefty fee. These are minor things that would not have pushed me to reserve elsewhere, but they were unpleasant surprises. Also, our room (the front room on the ground floor) had extremely poor lighting.

The staff were lovely. They welcomed us in and were very kind, offering us help at any time if needed, even to find anything we needed in the neighbourhood. The facilities were lovely as well. It’s an older building but the owners understand that this isn’t for everyone so they make that clear from the very start to ensure that their guests are comfortable with the facilities before arriving. We were more than happy with it and were not bothered at all, had absolutely no issues when staying there. We came back to a tidied room every night, with breakfast prepared for the next day and even refills for water in the fridge. The location was perfect for us. It was exactly centred between Wembley where we had a concert and central London so we could explore around with our visiting friend. Bonus: there’s plenty of transport services around which was ideal for us, lots of food places and things to do! The staff also ensured we were aware that they aren’t located in central London from the moment we booked our stay as people tend to get it confused and end up staying further away from where they intended. Was not an issue for us at all. Everything was made clear through good communication even before our stay!

The Caspian was a very welcoming experience made better by the friendly team who were always engaging and helpful. The character and style of the building added greatly to our stay.

Personally, we liked everything. I know some visitors have complained about creaky floorboards, noisy pipes and such, but don't be put off. It's an old building with lots of eccentric personality.

Very friendly hosts! Room for 5 people, big. Otherwise, all the furniture is worn out, but still comfortable. We had our own bathroom, hot water, dining table and refrigerator in the room. And despite the fact that there are no more breakfasts, they make a great effort and you have everything available in your room for tea or coffee, milk, muesli, croissants, cookies, water. You also get a voucher for English breakfast in the area (decent breakfast). The surroundings are quite calm 😊

Staff were friendly, the little tea and cereal that was provided in the room was a nice addition, the toilet and shower were clean despite it being shared. Beds were comfortable. Room was heated in the evening so didn’t feel the cold at all. Overall very satisfying experience, would highly recommend if you want a London trip to explore Soho area/Gallery/Museum or just that area of London as the Elizabeth line is 4 minute walk away from hotel. Ealing was also lovely the town was cute lots of places to eat.

The front door lock was a bit stiff and hard to unlock, took me quite some time on more than one occasion, could probably do with a replacement. Bathroom door on the first floor could do with some WD40, it was really squeaky and I feared I was waking up the entire hotel anytime I used it :’)

Very nice location, wonderful garden and amazing staff. The owner was very helpful and available for -simple- changes on short notice.

It was a bit loud at night, from the road, and very hot. Although it was the top floor in the summer, and you could partially open the windows, it was still hard to sleep well.

Ealing broadway is literally a two minute walk away, which is perfect cause from here you can reach many bus lines and metros too. Also here you can find SOOOO MANY shops (either for clothes or food), restaurants, ect. Not to talk about the view AND a quite big green park right in front of the accomodation. Central London is like 30minutes from the hotel:) The host was also extremely kind ad he waited for us to get there even when our plane was delayed and we got there late and he also helped us in everything:) We got new suppliments in our room every day and they also cleaned it every day.

Would be lovely to have a seperate bathroom to every room, but it wasn’t inconvenient this way either, actually was very clean:) Though a breakfast would be great every day, beaceuse sure there are suppliments in the room but that portion would only be enough for a child. Also english breakfast is not encluded all the way, we only got one free try:/
