Room was good, bed was comfortable, shower worked, WC was cramped for space, decor is dated, but for the price is perfectly acceptable. Just don't expect too much! As for convenience. there is some parking outside, but I arrived by train to Ealing Broadway, a ten-minute walk through residential streets. Same sort of distance to Wetherspoons Sir Michael Balcon pub (W5 3TJ), where a good inexpensive evening meal and a hearty breakfast are both available (Abbey Lodge does not do breakfast.)

A writing desk would have helped. They exist in some of the rooms. Net curtains would be good in ground-floor rooms as well. And a bit of assiduous cleaning of spills and stains.

The bed was very comfortable and I slept well, this room was better than the last room I stayed in. The bathroom area was clean and there is tea and coffee facilities and a lovely garden. This guest house is close to the shops and underground station, considering its london this guest house is the best price for the room and the cheapest I have come across and it's in a safe part of London. I would definitely stay here again.

There isn't breakfast, I would love to be able to go down stairs for breakfast but this place doesn't do breakfast for the guests. This is more of a guest house than a hotel as hotels provide food for their guests and this place doesn't have a reception area its more of a office room to speak to the staff. I'm not complaining just stating facts, there are plenty of food shops that provide breakfast in Ealing.

The staff were excellent with my friend, who was staying the night, due to being made homeless. Myself & my friend Maria were supporting him in his looking for a future property where he could stay. He has Cerebral Palsy & Diabetes. The staff couldn't have done anymore for my Friend, to make his stay comfortable.

The room was small, but made great use of the space with a TV on a wheeled table so we could move it about. The bathroom was tiny but lovely and modern. The bed was super comfortable, and even though we were right by the door, we weren't woken up in the night or early morning by foot traffic through the hallway. All in all, they left us to our own devices, which was nice.

Checking in was a little unclear, as the check in room was tucked away right at the end of the corridoor as you walk in. The reception guy also asked for my ID instead of asking for any other booking information, which I felt was a bit extreme. Also the bathroom was rather thin, and I couldn't comfortably get my legs around it to sit down.

Me and 3 friends booked the hotel to stay in during a 2 day festival. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the festival grounds. We also had many options for breakfast to be delivered to us on just eat. The hotel had a calm, relaxed feel. Staff were very kind and helpful. The room was a little more spacious than we expected and the bathroom was nice and modern. The hotel was quiet and asside from the bed being a little hard for my liking and pillows being a little old, i got pretty decent sleep. It was nice having a TV and plenty of storage space to share in the wardrobe as well as a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee.

The bed was a little hard for my liking (but most hotel beds are) and the pillows were quite old and flat but I still got decent enough sleep. The hotel room was mostly clean except for the floor (I walked round with bare feet and had to wash them before putting shoes/socks on as they were black). The main light in the room was very bright which was good but a lamp would have been nice for evening/morning use.

First of all I will come back to this hotel because of the Host. Absolutely charming personality-polite, attentive, willing to help and explain. Secondary, it is a residential area with no busy roads so it is always quiet inside the house. The room was warm and cozy. It was wonderful to feel that warm after traveling. They provide a kettle to make coffee and tea. The Host changed towels during my stay. I broke my computer charger while traveling and asked the Host if he has one just for the use while I am staying. He brought me one. They really care about their guests.

The staff were pleasant and the place was clean. My room was quiet with a comfy bed and modern bathroom. In my short stay, the WIFI was good.

A small point - new 'key tags'/keyrings required (on the first 'key tag' I was given, the number was illegible, with the second, the keyring was loose and the key and keytag fell off easily).

Loved that the staff gave us space, were very helpful when we needed them, went above and beyond printing of an appointment for us.

For the price/location we cant complain, The entrance was lovely, The room was organised with a TV, plenty of furniture, kettle etc, it was a little run down but what we needed and maybe they should consider putting up their prices a little and using the money to make some improvements, such as new curtains, lamps, deep cleaning the drains. Deep clean the bathroom/shower. Over all 9/10

We got what we payed for! Even more! This hotel is the best choice for young people. We got coffee, towels, glasses, a very kind staff and even an extra bed. The building is about 10 minutes from the underground, restaurants and stores. There is a cozy garden with table, chairs and sofa where we could chill every night and morning. The neighbourhood was pretty nice as well.

No complaints.

It is walkable to anywhere in Ealing, which is why I stay there. If late, or bad weather, it is a short Uber ride. The property is old and tired but the room is clean, comfortable, and a decent ensuite which is all I require. Staff carried my bad up to third floor.

Wish they would do breakfast. However there is a kettle in the room with coffee, tea etc.
