We are a family of 4 and booked the two-bedroom apartment. Firstly, the location is central to Frieburg with tram station opposite to the apartment, high street and attractions a 5-min walk, main train station just 10 minutes by walk. The room was prepared for our arrival - the kitchen was compactly equipped with utensils, coffee machine and immediate supplies (thanks for these small details). The bedrooms were spacious with sufficient space to organise the clothing and ample power sockets. Toiletries and towels were provided. Both the bedrooms have televisions. Though the apartment is in the middle of the city, it is very quiet and provides you a good night's rest. We really enjoyed the apartment as a base to travel to Triberg, Titisee and Schaunisland area and back for a good nights rest each day. There are Aldi, Edeka and lots of local bakeries around for your supply of breakfast / quick dinner essentials. Some lovely restaurants in the vicinity for a cosy dinner. The television had German channels / shows.

Thank you for the supply of coffee pads, sugar and salt etc. Maybe a small can of milk would have been the icing on the cake :)

The main attractions in Freiburg are in the Old Town and this aparthotel was located right at one edge of this town centre. This made it ideal to walk into the main areas and we were on the main shopping street or the arm stop within 3 minutes. We even walked from the train station to this building with two suitcases and it took hardly 12 minutes. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the lift was excellent. We had asked for a one bedroom apartment and were given one on the third floor. The view from the windows included the Schlossberg on one side of the town. This was so relaxing. The apartment itself was very clean and modern and had excellent wifi and all modern facilities like a well-stocked kitchen, good quality showers and hot water. It even had a central air-conditioning facility which was useful at times. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The washing machines and the dryers were located in the basement and were free for use with ample washing powder provided. The place had no parking facility of its own but there was a car park just 3 minutes away which allowed overnight parking for 12 Euros and had a very reasonable hourly rate of 1.50 Euros. Very convenient.

The bedroom was just a little bit smaller than needed. One side of the bed was barely 4 inches from the wall the bed lamp on that side could only be turned off from the other side where both lamp switches were located. This meant that the person the wall side would have to slide down the bed to get off when needed.

Walking distance from Freiburg station (bus and train) Friedrich apartments is the perfect base for a few days in this wonderful town. The apartment is much bigger than we expected (honestly one of the largest we've stayed in Europe). Well equipped. Clean. We were on the first floor facing the main road and because it was warm we did leave the windows open at night (bad idea because it IS noisy). But that's no fault of the apartment. When closed, the windows keep everything lovely and quiet. Seif at reception was so helpful and answered all my questions and even gave us a very generously late checkout and allowed us to keep our bags till we our bus left in the evening. I definitely recommend staying here for value for money and friendly service.

Great attention to detail. Everything we needed was there, the apartment was new and well-spaced. It kind of felt perfect. There is even a reception, not manned 24h but when we arrived we were greeted by a proper person. They even have drinking water at the reception in case you're thirsty when you arrive. We felt very well there.

Check in time was only at 16.00. I did not ask for an early check in because we only arrived after 16.00 but often you arrive well before that time in a town. They probably let you check in early if the room is ready, but if it isn't you'll have to wait until 4.

We recently stayed at this apartment in Freiburg and had an exceptional experience.The apartment was spacious, modern, and clean. It featured a fully equipped kitchen (coffe and watwr as welcome gift), air conditioning, and all the comforts one could wish for. An added bonus was the option to bring our small dog along for a very reasonable extra cost.A great convenience was the availability of washers and dryers in a common area, making laundry easy whenever we needed it.The apartment is ideally located right next to the entrance of the historic center. Everything is within walking distance, including a supermarket just a minute away, numerous shops, and a variety of restaurants.We also appreciated the private paid parking just a short walk away, which was extremely convenient.The staff, Seif, Sandy, and Jana, were always smiling and available to assist with any needs we had.Overall, we had an excellent stay and felt right at home. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect, just next to center. Private parking available. You can also book the parking in advance with the hotel. HBF is located at 12-15 mins walkable distance. Plenty of eating places nearby. Overall a nice stay.

Everything was good. The people at reception were also very welcoming and helpful. Carry your slippers if you are used to wear them inside the room. Also carry toothpaste as its not present. If the hotel provides a small toothpaste, it would be helpful as some people tend to assume it will be present in the toiletries.

We were initially afraid as the property was not near nay parking, but we found it and getting to the property by foot was easy. Loved the fact that two grocery stores were near. Front desk and cleaning staff were freindly.

Would have liked som instructions on how to find the parking garage across the street.

Friedrich boutique apartments are in a perfect location, so close to the Altstadt and within walking distance of most points of interest including train/bus station. It is extremely clean and very well appointed. We stayed in a one bed which was just perfect. We didn't use the kitchen much as so many restaurants near by but it has all the required facilities, cooker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher...We were welcomed by the lovely Katya, who was so good at her job a really lovely start to our few days in Freiburg. There is no restaurant onsite but lots of choice within seconds of the hotel. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Not much to dislike, the double bed was up against the wall so one person needs to climb over the other to get in and out of bed, to us no issue but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. Perhaps a corkscrew in the kitchen?? Oh and I think it's a German thing as I saw them in the shops but pillows far too flat! But I folded a blanket and put it under the pillow which was fine.

The location was perfect for me. The room on the street was a little noisy, but otherwise perfectly located. 15 minute walk from the train station, and just three minutes to a tram intersection that could take me all over the city. The room was very well equipped with a kitchen, as well as bathroom amenities. The room was cold but the heating could be turned on which helped, and there were extra blankets provided. A staff member was there to check me in who was very nice.

The bed wasn't super comfortable, but it was suitable for two nights. There was some noise from the street, but this was also not too bad for two nights.

This was the perfect space for a family stay--an incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, exceptionally large apartment (with balcony) and huge king size bed, dishwasher, kitchen, washing machine/dryer--everything we needed for a visit to Freiburg with small children. Add to that that the apartments are near the train station and right in the centre of the city--so the location is really ideal. I cannot imagine a more convenient or comfortable place to stay and will definitely book here again on our next stay to Freiburg.
