This was a nice little respite on our roadtrip. There was four of us in the group and we had cups and dishes for all of us. We stayed at a much more expensive place and had to fight for four of each of mugs etc. This was not the case at this place. Well stocked. The pool was perfect as we were hot at end of day. It was clean and well kept. This is not a 5 star resort. It is a motel but it has everything we needed and clean. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a good stop.

Our only hindsight would to have requested they start the a/c in the room an hour before we got there. We understand they cannot run it all the time.

The owners are the sweetest people. It’s family run and over the last few years they’ve done some big renovations and upgrades. I believe the next thing to be done was to close of the property with a complete gate. I believe they do need mattress upgrades though. The new manager Mike is a new manager who tries hard and handles any issues.

The fence should go around the ba k of the property too. It’s kinda creepy in the washroom that the windows are so low and easy to see inside from. But I do understand it costs money and they are fixing the place.

The Flamingo is an 'old school' 60"s motel that is owned and operated by a very friendly family. The suite we had a kitchen and private bedroom. The place was ultra clean and extremely quiet. The location is excellent for downtown, lake access, shopping, restaurants and a pub. The pub across the street was great fun. I booked the same room for next summer.

They need a new toaster.

It had a full kitchen. The fridge was a good size, as was the table and chairs. The hotel is concrete block construction which makes it quite quiet.

The air conditioner wasn't sufficient for days with a high around 30C. An employee said they were looking at a replacement. The hot water takes a while to come on.

We had 2 rooms, one with a kitchenette and one without, that were located side by side, which was what we had requested. Both rooms were a good size and were nice and clean. There were some dishes and kitchen supplies which were appreciated and the fridge was full sized.

We have no complaints. There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

The staff were friendly and for the price, the room was perfectly adequate with a comfy bed. We had a fridge and microwave and little table to eat at by the window. The motel was a good 2km from the town but we enjoyed walking in along the strip!

The location of our room (no. 6) was right next to the office so a bit noisy with staff talking on the phone and sorting matters out . The motel is on a fairly busy road.

This classic 1965 motel is a memory lane pleasure stay for everything it offers from clean cozy rooms to the pool and communal barbeques. At the time of booking it was the best price option in Pentiction.

The location on the main road has changed over the last 65 years but that should not deter you from enjoying the property especially if you are set to enjoy the pool and barbeques.

The staff were excellent, friendly and very accommodating. The room was very clean and good value

The appliances such as the air conditioner and the fridge were not t the best, probably needing to be replaced. The bed was a little uncomfortable

The pool underwent extensive renovation and opened while I was there. Rooms also had received some refurbishing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Parking for vehicles was a little cramped. On site laundry facilities would be helpful but not imperative.

Honest Price. Easy Check-in. Great Location. Comfort and clean room. I would come back here for sure, with no hesitation.

There were moments when the noise from outside was really bugging us, coming from both of our neighbours.
